I drive from Hunsbury, to Kingsley it's that good!

Their service has always been incredibly fast and polite. Collection is never more than a 30 minute wait and the food has always been fantastic. In my opinion, this is the best local Chinese takeaway in Abington.

went to order my food and they started arguing and throwing things at each other in the kitchen. place was very dirty rubbish everywhere. staff were rude when speaking to us and gave us the wrong order. food was horrible. and to top it all off me and my partner are now suffering with food poisoning

Fantastic food with exceptional service. The munchy box was delicious with a great portion size. Beef was really tender and melts in your mouth. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again! Thank you.

Best lemon chicken I've had in ages!! Nice and friendly when I phoned the order through. My meal was ready in 20 mins . It was easy to park right outside the takeaway. Huge menu selection,Hearty portions and great tasting egg fried rice. I will be returning 👍😋

Me and my family don’t usually try new food, but we are glad we tried dragon inn. Dragon inn’s food is amazingly delicious and even the scent of the food itself was awesome! We really enjoyed it! Dragon inn’s food is truthfully flavourful!

My daughter ordered today 17/11/23 spending £28 she placed the order at. 18:00 and when it finally arrived at 20:20 we were missing the rice to the curry dish we tried calling but the phone line isn't working.. we have used yourself on numerous occasions we would like a full refund this is no way to run a business

We would love to be able to review our meal but IT NEVER ARRIVED!!!!!! So angry. Will be demanding my money back.

My husband has always enjoyed the meals here. Me not so much. Last night 29th June 23, our meal was swimming in soy sauce. My noodles were black and my husbands rice looked the same. The sauce for my lemon chicken was cold and solidifying before I put it on my food. Very disappointed and my taste buds are frazzled. Not good at all.

This order took 2 hrs to arrive and when it did it was disgusting and when reported to just eat they couldn't care less. Mine has gone into the bin. Has ruined my evening

Paid for a meal £36! Chowmain special, crispy shredered beef is just sour vegies, meat is just soo litte that you cant find it and taste is worst than ever! Meat witch vegies next photo - where is meat?!? 2 slice chicken or something...??

Food is shockingly bad, looks like it came from a newborn babies nappy and tastes like it too. Absolutely horrible, even the wife cooks better, than this, and she ain't a good cook.

Great food. Orders need to be phoned through in advance as there is currently no face to face service available. Everything we have ordered so far has been super tasty. I am a big fan of the wandering dragon.

When ordering it stated that food would be 30minutes-45, when the email came through for the confirmation it stated it would be between 1hour and 1hour 20. It then showed up 1hour 45minutes later. After speaking the the restaurant whilst waiting, they was not helpful at all and said they would call the driver and then ring back which they never did. When the food finally came, it was extremely salty and not nice. I was completely disappointed and will not buy from there again.

I've been ordering from Dragon Inn for years - they are my favourite Chinese takeaway in Northampton. The service is super prompt (delivery within 20 minutes more than once!) and the food always to die for. Would recommend the salt and chilli chicken if you're not sure what to get.

Ususally they send me great food, but today I've ordered Chicken with Baby Sweetcorn & Chinese Mushrooms and I got some Chicken with Onions, Carrotts and Chinese Mushrooms. I ordered this dish because of the Baby Sweetcorns but I didn't got any piece of them. I'm very dissapointed!

Ok food, however cant collect and they want £3.50 for delivery! I live on the other side of block literally 1 min walk and for a 3 star hygiene rating i think that's taking the Mickey.

Crispy chilli beef was soft and mushy. Didn't taste like chilli beef either. Chicken balls had been cooked twice. The chicken was shrivelled and the batter rock hard. Not impressed.

All I am gonna say is banana fritters... Yum, a weakness of mine. Not everyone does them, so willing to dare the backstreets very occasionally.

I've been using this Chinese for years and its still amazing. Good quality food for a great price. At one point they even knew my address and order. Legendary Chinese.

Food was lovely... but when ordering and they said a free bag of prawn crackers.... the bag contained 5 prawn crackers that was 2 and a half each. 2 which were in bits. If i paid for a bag i get loads if there free you get 5 .. ruined the meal and the confidence in the local that i had been loyal to... they said that the portion was appropriate. I think not.

First time we've ordered a take away from this restaurant. We were really impressed. Very courteous and helpful when we phoned to order and sent our order with no peppers as requested as one person was allergic to them. Quarter of an hour earlier than expected delivery time on a busy night and lovely courier. The food was fabulous and the prices very reasonable. Ordered a meal for two which did for three hearty eaters very well. Nothing but praise for this place. Definitely our first choice from now on!

An hour and a half to deliver is poor. The food I could eat was not of excellent quality, and in addition, the singapore shrimp noodles I ordered due to having a meat allergy contained both pork and chicken and I am currently in the middle of a painful allergic reaction. When I contacted the business, they tried to claim that singapore noodles have mixed proteins as standard, despite them being listed separately on their menu. I am dissatisfied with this takeaway in entirety and would strongly advise avoiding them. Photo evidencing supplied so I don't just sound like a disgruntled troll.

Best takeaway in Northampton hands down! Tried a few in the town but this one is amazing. Great service, came one time and great portions! Their Thai green curry and chicken wings were amazing! Cannot highly recommend this place enough!

Absolutely discraceful, told all my friends to never order from here and to certainly not pre-pay. Me and my friends ordered £60 of food from there. They sent an incomprehensible voicemail that wanted us to confirm the order despite not asking us to confirm the order in the voicemail. They then proceeded to cancel the order without telling us. Then 10 mins after the order was supposed to arrive we called and they said they cancelled the order, despite us never asking to cancel it, and they swore at us on the phone. They then offered to send the food 1hr 20 mins after we wanted it. They then cancelled the order again without telling us, claiming that they tried to deliver it, even though we had never had a call from them. By then it was too late to reorder the food. Extremely angry with them and will never order from them again. I’m telling my friends to do the same. Worst restaurant i’ve ever been to. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Ordered couple days ago, had food from here previously was good but ordered a green Thai curry extra this time. I’ve had many Thai curry’s previously elsewhere and this was not satisfactory standard at all, it just tasted of coconut milk and was awful. All I did was call up and ask for a replacement or refund but they refused saying every restaurant makes it different, fair enough but it was disgusting and was more like a coconut curry? (Not as described) have never had such bad customer service in my life, worked in a kebab takeaway myself and never dealt with customers this way. The women on the phone had such a loud mouth and was taking the piss saying saying ‘go to your lawyers’ because I said I have the right for replacement or refund. She was telling me to come to the shop and I said I don’t drive and she would just argue.After That I got angry and we argued and I hung up. My bf called up trying to speak to her but she was shouting down the phone to him while he was trying to talk. Few minutes after she called him and apologised and done the refund. Will never ever order from here again. Disgusting rude service

Worst food Ive ever tasted, call themselves a chinese. There drivers need to take lessons on how to drive although I guess that none of them have passed a uk test. Drivers drive where they want even If Its over someones lawn.

Recently visited this takeaway, however was shocked at what i experienced. I ordered simple fried rice and pancake rolls, and waited in the shop for it to be cooked. A few minutes had passed and I started to regret ordering, having observed the shop, I noticed an unprecedented amount of clutter and rubbish behind the counter, with boxes and bottles of unlabeled liquid (which looked like used fat). It is clear the shop was an ex chippy or kebab shop because the frying instruments are still there, they are not in use and just full of junk. There were also plants with leaves that were falling off and had been for some time, i noticed that surfaces hadn't been cleaned as they were thick with dust and grease. Although the lady was OK with me i did over hear her on the phone to customers, telling them that the driver is "out side their house" and that she's spoken to him, when i was stood there it didn't appear to me she had received any call from the driver nor had she made one. She did appear rude but i am unsure if this was because of her accent. The lady behind the counter had set up an area (which was just as full of junk as everywhere else) with her laptop and plonked herself down to play candy crush- which is probably why she's not bothered about phoning the driver or speaking to customers. Having seen what i saw i felt compelled to contact the local authority about the standard of hygiene at this premises and i was worried about the level of hygiene in the kitchen considering the lack of it "front of house". I only didn't cancel my food because i had already paid for it and started to convince myself it might not be that bad. The food was bland and the rice was very overcooked, considering it was not a particularly busy night for them. I am quite disappointed with the place overall - Dragon Inn - if you read this please clean your shop. I shall not be going again.

TERRIBLE! had an issue with my food, called the shop and the lady argued on the phone with me for 8 minutes telling me over and over the process they go through to cook it and that was the reason. I explained I have always eaten Chinese and got pretty much the same thing and have never experienced this before but wouldn't listen. told me to bring it into the shop but I explained I'm heavily pregnant which is why I ordered delivery, she didn't seem to care about this and eventually said she was going to hang up. Spoken to like a child, very disappointed, worst Chinese I have ever had.

The worst food i have had in a while disgusted duck in plum sauce was a gelatinous goo with a disgusting coating on it the meat was tough and didnt even look like duck. Ribs were dry and tasteless like they had been cooked a week ago i will never order from there again

Worst Chinese I've ever ordered from and I've ordered a lot in my time. Ordered food at 6:30 finally arrived at 9:20?! Was full of grease to the point you couldn't eat some of it no apology from driver won't ever order from them again wish I had read here reviews before I did. Lesson learned!

I have ordered from this takeaway before it was perfect. But tonight i thought i would order some food to kill my hunger. it arrived 2 hours late and when the food came it was freezing cold the food went all lumpy and i had burnt rice. The joke is i called up the company and explained the problem and the woman laughed at me on the phone and said that i was making it up as that is impossible. Stay well away from Dragon Inn they treat you like you're nothing to them and they do not deserve paying customers as they dont have any respect for people. Also what a waste of money.
