1st time we collected and was lovely. Got a delivery tonight. Pork and chicken is very dry in the bbq fried rice. Very disappointed the shrimp chow mein is extremely fishy. Chips are nice. Curry sauce is very spicy and I've never had a spicy curry sauce from a Chinese it's always been mild but asked for a curry sauce not thought much of it poured it over the food and its to spicy. Gave the driver a tip aswel. Its not very nice food tonight I'm really disappointed as was looking forward to this even having to drink my drink to wash it down in how dry it is. Take aways aren't very cheap anymore. And in how expensive this place is I'd of expected everytime to be 5* food to be honest with the prices here. Not happy with food tonight unfortunately. Which is a massive shame.

Fast serving Chinese takeaway. My choice for chicken fried rice.

Really bad. A slim, short guy posted a menu and has been caught on camera robbing my parcel. Went to the shop to question it with evidence. The guy became aggressive which was unecessary. Thieving little runts.

Dragon house never ever fail to satisfy us . Absolutely my favourite takeaway establishment ! Always fresh food, always tasty and its always a speedy delivery and foods always hot , prices are fantastic! Always throw in spring rolls and crackers too free of charge. The staff are lovely as well as their drivers. Couldn't rate them any more. You wouldn't be disappointed must try !!

I have been ordering from Dragon house for years ...Food and Hospitality have always been 5 stars...unfortunately I ordered food as we had friends around and said they were really good and we decoded to try something else besides the usual...I have to say the satay beef was very watery..tastless and uninviting-Need to work on the reciepe-Also the special chow mein was not up to its usual standard which is very tasty normally....Iam not sure if you use a different chef Friday/Saturday...but we have started to notice a difference in standards-Just feel you need to know our opinions as valued customers

Ordered food from here on their website and it was accepted and I was given a 45 minute estimate, after almost 2 hours of waiting I went to a chat helper on the site and I was told my order was cancelled due to them being busy. Why didn’t they just not accept the order? Waste of time.

We ordered from here and it said it would be around 40 minutes, however it it was quite some time over when we asked they said it was busy and will be late which is fair enough. After two hours of waiting they cancelled our order.

Do not order from here!!! Worst place to get food from , all stone cold and soggy, rude customer service and when phoned to make a complaint they just told us to basically deal with it! Will never be ordering from this place again

Food was ok. Driver blamed me he was not able to call me however I left my number and instructions as "please leave the order at the reception" but he encountered difficulties to understand the sentence above. He was number 8 on a 10 scale of rudeness.

Chinese take away has been my favourite type of take away all my life, I have eaten from most of the restaurants in Coventry and I can say without any hesitation this is the worst or one of the bottom 3. I ordered on just eat and had 2x House Special Chow Mien with BBQ sauce, Sausage and chips, Crispy Chicken in Chilli and salt, I was amazed when it all arrived in 25 minutes, naturally I thought it must have been a slow night so our order was just fast... how wrong I was. House Special Chow Mien with BBQ sauce, The chicken was boiled not fried or wok cooked, it tasted like it had been made much earlier and sat in water for hours making it all stringy and slimy. (dogs enjoyed it) The beef was again cooked prior to the order so it was uneditable it was so tough. (dogs enjoyed it) The prawns had a strange smell that was so awful they went in the bin. (didn't trust it for my dogs to eat) The noodles were bland and flavourless, covered in a soy sauce mix that just lacked anything substantial in the flavour department. And all of this was topped off by a “BBQ Sauce” I don't know what the sauce was but it wasn't BBQ and had a mildly putrid after taste. I have made Chow Mien from a packet mix that tasted better than this and as you can tell it was just very expensive dog food, £6.20 for that low quality food felt like a huge rip off, however the portion size was generous and the meat although atrocious was plentiful. Sausage and chips, The chips were surprisingly nice, well cooked and crispy, not burned and fluffy so 10/10 on them, The sausages were just dirt cheap frozen fried crap, the kind you get 10 in a super market for a few quid that are more bread than meat. Every other place I have ordered this dish from comes with 4+ sausages normally of a much higher grade, so this one really felt bad with 3 small frozen sausages £4.70 was way to much for this portion size and quality. Crispy Chicken in Chilli and salt, The first few bits were actually ok, they were semi crispy although mostly softer than I would have liked and again they had that oddly chewy texture of boiled chicken, but after around 5 or 6 of them you start to get overwhelmed by the random addition of 5 spice in the batter, I have had this dish in many variety's from many places and never ever had it with 5 spice before.. so it may be chalked up to personal taste on this one but it went in the dogs, it just doesn't work and wasn't great on flavour... as well as it being about as spicy as an ice cream. There was a good amount of chicken and it was worth the £6.10 price tag even if it wasn't to my taste. Overall I ended up feeding most of it to my animals and then made sandwiches, so I will never ever order from here again and honestly, they need to try harder given the great alternatives in Coventry.

Thought we would give a new place a try. So we ordered online showing as open. Money taken. Hours later trying to make contact to see where food was. It had been cancelled but didn't think to notify us. Dreadful service Dreadful ordering platform.

Been ordering here 10 years now and can honestly say never get a bad meal from here fast delivery and foods delicious not at all greasy

Not as good as usual. Hot & Spicy Chicken was very very dry. Salt & Pepper Wings were overcooked and lacked taste.

Have ordered fairly regularly from here and food has always been decent and orders have been right. Ordered vegetarian spring rolls today, got home and they’d given me meat ones (not great for a veggie). Rang them and they asked me to go back. Trekked all the way back and they handed me the veggie ones with an apology and asked if I wanted to keep the meat ones - which I declined as I’m a veggie! Trekked back home and the vegetarian spring rolls were cold - they were obviously my original order that had just been left on the side to go cold for about 1/2 hour. Didn’t have the time or inclination to go back again. I feel it’s a shame that after being given the wrong food and then have to go back to rectify it, they don’t even offer eg a couple of extra rolls - they just hand over cold food or food you can’t eat. Am not marking them really low, as like I say, when the orders are right, then they’re good. But maybe they could look at how customers are treated when they don’t get it right.

Such a lovely meal was ordered online for a collection I collected it and within 2 minutes it was ready for me . Well all I can say is it was delicious will definitely return again . Was delighted with our free gift of prawn crackers and mini pancake rolls amazing.

4 star for the service and 1 star for the food served. Ordered 3 vegetarian dishes and none met our expectations. In fact, the food was bland and disappointing to be very frank. We won't be ordering again based on our first experience.

Ordered from this takeaway many time before. Just 2 people ordered this time so was a small order. Being vegetarian I had a veg chow mein. Luckily I pick the mushrooms out and noticed a piece of chicken. I rang the takeaway who was persistent on not refunding and giving an exchange. Eventually the agree to refund but after a battle and awful service. I understand it was a mistake but the service could have resolved the issue instead of arguing. Wont be using them again and neither will family/friends. Still not received the refund either.

Amazing Chinese. Great value. And even on a Friday night the order was ready within 15 minutes to collect. Had sweet sour pork (Hong Kong style) and pork and chicken BBQ chow mein. Lovely.

First time ordering from Dragon house and wow what can I say absolutely gorgeous food came on time was lovely and hot and tasty even thrown in a bag of prawn crackers ...defo my fav Chinese now thanks Dragon house

I’ve been buying food from here for over 30 years. In all that time I honestly think I’ve had 1 mediocre meal but all the rest have been delicious . The curry sauce is beautiful whether it be on its own or in a curry dish. The Singapore Fried Rice is to die for as is the Chow Mein. Pretty much everything on the menu is delicious. Love this place.

I've been a customer for over 30 years, never had a bad meal. Tried others here & there with friends however a big thing for me is that Dragon House always seem to use quality prawns where some places aren't very reliable at all.

Great service here , Surprisingly quick delivery , I’m addicted to the Chicken Balls always have been freshly cooked. (2 boxes ) of Spare ribs in syrup is the favourite Choice for my son he eats the lot . I really recommend the chips, I ask for well done they are lovely and crispy , flavour of curry sauce is great and it’s thick . Roast pork chow mien tastes great too Hot and sour soup is A must if you have flu . Once you try this place you love it . Great staff too

Normally use jade house but was persuaded to go rogue and hit this joint up. A desicions I do NOT regret. Was top notch karate chopping chicken popping. The bbq ribs were sexual and the lemon chicken made me wee a little bit. Will definitely be ordering on my cheat days next year.

Customer service is poor. Every customer recieved a Callander but didn't offer one to me😭

Food is good but a bit different to what it used to be it's not as spicy as it once was is that a bad thing I don't know ďepends on your own palat prices not bad it is quite clean in the back

Never had an issue with the Dragon House. The food is delicious, the delivery speeds are illegal, (14 minutes) the drivers are all cognitive and friendly, as well as the staff over the phone who are easy to understand from my experience anyway! Egg fried rice only ever needs more soya sauce, the chips are the best chips I have ever had in my life and the mini pancake rolls and their salsa/sweet chilli sauce like dip is amazing. The only place that does a beautiful consistency curry sauce with just the right tang to it! So good that I always order extra to have the day after! Only problem I've ever had was a hair in my curry sauce which I then had my order completely resent, got to keep all my food other than the curry sauce, despite there being no problems with it and the new order was out piping hot in under 20 minutes on a Friday!!!!

Well I ordered from here as my local was closed rice bowl ...I read reviews and was impressed...the fast delivery was bang on but the food was just not what I was expecting tasted more like an Indian curry than chinese my chicken curry had mushrooms...the chip were nice the rice was more like boiled than fried rice ..was horrible and me and my partner both felt sick after eating
