Yet again a bad experience Ordered veg Singapore noodles and got meat Rest of food was bland and tasteless Won’t ever go back

Recently visited west London and ordered from Dragon Garden for a cozy night and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The ordering process was seamless and the menu offered a great variety of options. One thing that stood out to me was the freshness of the ingredients used in each dish. It was evident that the chefs prioritise quality. In terms of value for money, Dragon Garden offers competitive prices for the quality of food they serve. The portions were generous, and We even had leftovers for the next day.

Raw chicken balls on a takeaway. Husband dealt with it by phoning them, they said we could have money off next time we order, like we are going back to them. What are we going to substitute the dish with so we can eat the rest of the order?

Yet again didn’t get what I asked for The food has deteriorated drastically Since all the changes to staff this place has really gone downhill I won’t be going there again Hopefully others will do the same and it might get back to how it used to be

Ordered a take away took an hour to deliver which Expect on a Saturday night: food was very nice everyone really enjoyed it. Only downside was we spent £100 but did not receive any free goodies e.g prawn crackers. Portions good size Would definitely order from Here again

Have been a regular customer of this takeaway for many years but just lately the quality has slipped right off the scale. Tasteless, dry. The chicken chow mein contained very little meat. The egg fried rice, no egg. Very disappointing and well over priced. Will not use this place again I’m afraid. It used to be so good. Shame.

It was a lovely experience to have Chinese takeaway from this takeaway. I have been ordering Chinese from them for several years already, In general good take away experience and good food quality.

We used to order a takeaway from Dragon Garden almost weekly over a period of many years. Sadly, in the last 6 months the food (and service) seem to be on a continual decline. The flavours are very unpredictable and the quality often disappointing. The Salt & Chilli Ribs last night were tiny and simply full of bone and fat, the egg fried rice barely contained any egg and the Special Chow Mein was anything but special! When I called them to voice my concerns, their lack of regard to remedy the situation was further disappointing. I definitely won’t be returning.

Tried the dragon garden after hearing good reports . Absolutely un edible . 2 different chow mien that were slippery and greasy - in the bin 1 king prawn with ginger and spring onion with no taste of ginger and boiled cooking onions in slim juice 1 black pepper chicken Again boiled slop ! 1 Mongolian lamb with pancakes . Cremated road kill comes to mind ! 1 veg spring roll . Came tge size of a rolling pin with more boiled slop inside . 1 spicy stir fried mixed veg ! Omg yes boiled over cooked non spicy veg in boiled water type broth . On a plus note the curry sauce was very nice . Avoid this place .

We ordered a meal for the family. Spent £87. The chicken balls were disgusting…most of them ended up in the bin. Chicken didn’t taste cooked. We ordered 2 lot’s of these chicken balls so that was £10.20 wasted. Prawn crackers we’re soft so obviously not cooked today. To be honest it was a disaster. Not a happy host.

If you want food that is warm at best that takes an hour and 40 minutes to get to you after you order then please use this Chinese but if you want hot food delivered in a reasonable time then avoid, avoid, avoid! There also seemed to be a glitch with the online ordering as despite ordering 3 rice when it came there was only one and my email said I had only ordered one but this wasn’t correct. Waited a total of 1 hour 40 mins for food to arrive. I called and was given assurances that it was on its way and there was a delay? but with no sign I called again 20 mins later and then got a call from the driver (although no apology on arrival) and when it finally arrived it really wasn’t worth the wait as most of it was warm at best, nothing was hot and chips were stone cold inedible and rice seemed very salty. Also we did not chance eating the chicken balls that were extremely pink inside and were not waiting for replacement to come another hour and a half later! Will not bother ordering from here again as last time when we collected there was a very long wait too. They charge £3 for delivery but can’t see why as service wasn’t worth a penny.

We ordered online through the website and called to cancel our order as we made an error. I still have not received a refund. And we did not receive any food either and haven’t heard anything since out 4th phone call.

I picked an order and an item Was missing Told I do this all the time by the female at the counter. Who was very rude and did not listen Food is poor and cold Portion size is much smaller and quality of food is not good anymore. She didn’t believe me so asked her colleagues Advised her why would I calling her They only take cash ? Why ? Save your money and go elsewhere

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Telling us not to order from them again and that we are horrible even though the issue was because they missed one of the items from our order. Yet we’re supposed to wait another hour for the food or come and collect the refund ourselves? Phone was put down on us twice and the attitude from the women was disgraceful so don’t worry I won’t be ordering from you again and I won’t be recommending you to anyone

It was such a lovely place to go for a first timer! Honestly the service and takeaway was great and I highly recommend this place for all!

Ordered through Just Eat, when the food was delivered, they forgot main dish. When we called, they said they would add credit to next order. No help when your hungry and have paid for dinner but no food to eat. They then had the cheek to say don’t order from this restaurant again ! When asking just eat for refund, they ask you to fill out a form and takes up to 10 working days to get your money back ! Won’t be ordering from them again or using just eat 😡

Dragon Garden is our local Chinese and this is the third time ordering from there. Every time we have ordered by calling them directly and NOT through a third party service such as just eat. Note they are take away only and do not have indoor seating. The food portions are generous and the staff are very friendly. Dishes I would recommend - Crispy Beef, Duck Pancakes, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Sweet and sour chicken (Hong Kong style), chicken balls. Less of a fan on the chicken and mushroom in black bean sauce but that's down to personal taste. When I was in the shop one of the staff was mentioning to another customer that the menu on just eat/Uber does not show the information in enough detail (what is vegetarian etc). I haven't checked this myself but would recommend picking it up as I am yet to have any issues. Overall, food is very hot, tasty and great portions. Would recommend

If you order chicken with cashew nuts you expect to receive cashew nuts. But no, this place doesn’t give you a single one and tells you to come and get them yourself. Chicken was half cooked, this place is a liability and should be shut down immediately.

This is the best Chinese Takeaway in Watford area! Especially their Crispy Chilli Beef and Lemon Chicken. Their meal for one is a total surprise in the menu! big for one person and very good value. will come back soon

Chow mein was so burnt you couldn’t eat it, as was the lemon chicken. Spicy shredded beef has very sweet almost golden syrup taste to it. Banana fritters had no syrup whatsoever! Only edible part were the duck pancakes.

Although the food here is decent, it's no longer the quality it was. Plus the charges are high compared to similar restaurants. It was a must go to , now it's not. Decent still but costly.

Used this take away a lot over the years and does tend to be a bit hit and miss. More miss lately. After not going there for a few months we returned again and wished we hadnt. Food was cold, chicken was very chewy. Poor value for money as chinese food is not cheap, and therefore have decided not to return here.

Used this takeaway for about 20 years, never had a bad meal. Food is consistently excellent and the staff are professional and friendly.

Great day out they only do pre booked tours so don't turn up unless you already have a booking everybody is searched before they can enter this can take a little time but this is just a sign of the times

I ordered takeaway here recently with family on a Sunday evening. There's a good selection of dishes on the menu, prices are reasonable, and portions are large. However, my starter (spring rolls) was rather greasy and not very tasty; the crispy duck was provided with duck, cucumber, spring onions and pancakes in the same container, which meant that the cucumber and spring onions were warm, not crispy - they should have been supplied in a separate container; the main course was good, but the egg fried rice was not so good. I'd look for another takeaway next time.

La comida aquí es preparado en el momento como se espera de un chino takeawy. Si la comida es de una gran calidad y el tamaño de la porción es buena, por supuesto siempre sobre su elección de alimentos, pero la variedad que hemos tenido ha sido buena, y siempre tenemos un montón. Te dan una bolsa de galletas con cada orden. No están autorizados a la licencia así pop local por alcohol si quieres porque la comida está siendo preparado

The best Chinese takeaway in the Watford area in my opinion, certainly of all the ones i have tried anyway.

simply the best Chinese food I've had, was very tasty and fresh. but the front guy's English is a terrible! But we come for the food and I am happy with every penny I've spent there.

Nos solía ser asiduos en este para llevar como hemos vivido cerca de 15 años, pero no he comido desde aquí por un tiempo. Nos dieron una comida para llevar aquí recientemente, pero nos decepcionó. Todos los platos estaban muy salada y el huevo frito arroz apenas teníamos un huevo y era muy cocidas. Las bolas de pollo estaban excelentes, como siempre, pero el salado realmente lo arruinó para nosotros. También bastante caro. Podríamos haber ido a un restaurante por el mismo precio, ya que era más de £10 cada uno.

Really good and consistent take away. Does not deliver which is just as well or we would be right fatties as we favour the less healthy options.

Good Chinese takeaway the only downfall is, they don't deliver and I would advise to phone your order through as it gets busy.

Visited here just recently to get a takeaway as they don't do delivery (poor service to offer) but have had food from there in the past. The man behind the till taking the orders appears at times rather rude & impatient when you may ask him about a particular dish; or if u are indecisive about something & asking about their method of payment. You have to pay a sub-charge of 50p when using your card (lovely).....NOT. He does not appear friendly, nor welcoming but seems bothered to collect people's money which left a bitter taste in my mouth so I walked out as I know I can get a better tastier service elsewhere. Some people may not be bothered about this if you're really hungry but I believe in customer satisfaction is the key when running a business to the public when you are paying your money to keep the staff jobs' / business going. The food is ok when you are starving hungry but unless you cannot deal with ill manners from staff, opt to go elsewhere s there are better Chinese restaurants around.

Fresh, fast and tasty!Call up before your order and you will just need to pick and go! Gets really busy fri and sat nights!Recommend Singapore Noodles, Shredded Hot Beef, Sweet & Sour dishes and my fave Chow Mein and Chop Suey!If you are wondering if you should.. The answer is simple... Yes!

Good food but overpriced.The peeking duck portion was very small and pricier than most Chinese takeaways.Shame they don't deliver too.
