Food made me violently sick, will not be ordering again.

What an absolutely awful business. Tried to order from here a couple of weeks back and restaurant just cancelled the order. Thought I would try again as they offer a munchie box that appears to be good value. Get a phone call from the restaurant that they want to charge an extra 1.50 for delivery as I live 4 miles from takeaway. I had ordered from justeat and already paid 2.50. rude woman on phone advised that was only within 3 miles of restaurant. Checked justeat and no mention of extra delivery charges. Cancelled order, they are just trying to gouge extra money out of people. Disgusting customer service

The food is delicious; the chilli squid, especially. You can order on JustEat or on the takeaways own website. You get loyalty points for the latter. The only problem with their website is that it doesn't provide an update on your order/estimated time it will be ready, so it'sa guess when to pick up the food. Delivery charge at £3.50 for Polesworth to Grendon is pretty steep, and delivery is a significant amount slower than collection. It's always hot either way.

Best chinese in a while very fresh and tasty..

Absolutely disgusting!!! When we opens our food it was bleak to say the least, we went back to be told that it's the way it's travelled, we live a 2 minute drive. The guy behind the counter then offered my partner another person's order and swapped it with our order, so who ever has ordered food from here will be getting our seconds that we have taken back and he refused to refund !!!

Food did not turn up for 2hours. Bloke on the phone was extremely rude!! And was acting as if was our fault that the food was late. Poor discount offered, you have now lost a loyal customer. Disgusting behaviour!!! And we live 0.5 miles away!!

Terrible customer service Tried to make me pay extra for stuff they’d left out of my order to have it redelivered, said that I never order the things they’d left out of my order and wouldn’t refund my tenner back they owed me but refunded me 1.80 for a portion of chips. Absolute joke of an establishment. The Have the audacity to call me a Liar on a review I left them after I got of the phone to them. Clearly the phone is managed by a child also. Rude and terribly childish behaviour and responses to bad reviews.Clearly reflects on the business itself I’d think twice before anyone ordered from here. Terrible.

Do not bother ordering as the order does not turn up and you get a rude person on the phone who basically calls you a liar and hangs up on you!

Ordered food for delivery told 50 minute delay, over 2 hours later still waiting, called the shop after an hour to be told its being cooked now. Called again at 2 hours to be told I can cancel it as I'm not happy but you won't get a refund for 7 days! Absolutely woeful. Would never recommend a shop that is dishonest. I'm £40 down and we are still hungry!

Always have a munchie box as this for us is great value, always nice and hot and tastes great.

Quality of food from Dragon Edge is usually really good, but I've ordered tonight and am extremely disappointed. Part of my order included seafood chop suey. It was not chop suey, there wasn't a beanshoot in sight. They then padded the dish with fish sticks, and left the wrapper on one of them. Will not be ordering again in a hurry.

We've had quite a lot of fantastic meals from here just recently so I'm not sure what all the bad rep is about. It's infact the only Chinese we will use in the area, the food is always hot and fresh and good sized portions. Mostly comes on time maybe has been delayed once but that's to be expected at busy periods. Thanks guys :)

Very good takeaway business for Chinese food.

We have used Dragon Edge quite a few times now and I must say there food is really good, great taste and good portion sizes. Keep up the good quality.

ZERO STARS WAS NOT AN OPTION!!!! Awful service. Ordered via just eat, then received a call informing us we would need to pay an additional £2 delivery direct to the driver upon delivery. Despite having ordered from them before and incuring no additional charges. When questioned, the restaurant claimed we couldn't have used them before as we were showing as a new customer and they weren't on just eat 2 weeks ago!!!!! The order was cancelled by the restaurant as the driver refused to deliver without the additional charge. Will definitely not place an order again.

Dose not even deserve 1 star... keep you waiting on hold for ages and then rude once they answer the phone..poor quality poor service poor manners avoid at all costs

This place seems to get a bad rep but I've recently moved to Polesworth and had 3 good meals. Not had a bad meal yet. My advice is to stop being lazy, go fetch the food yourself. That way you get it at the right time, it's still piping hot and you can check the order is correct. I have no hesitation in going back again.

Used this place many times over the years, had many issues with wrong orders or long wait times but always looked past due to good food. Today was the final straw when my whole meal turns up but rice instead of curry sauce, and they say sorry next time you can have it on the house, so now I have a dry meal that's already like warm due to already waiting nearly 2 hours for delivery as it is, they won't send a driver with curry sauce, will never use again.

AVOID!! If I could have awarded 0 stars I would. DO NOT risk placing a Just Eat Order with this takeaway. They declined an order despite showing as online for delivery, however still took £17.70 on my card from my bank account, and REFUSED to give me my money back OR the order and lied to me stating it was down to Just Eat to refund me when in fact it states on Just Eat’s own terms and conditions that it is the takeaway’s responsibility to refund immediately any declined orders. Takeaway was argumentative, uncaring, didn’t care that they had taken my money, wouldn’t give me any food either this is THEFT and I can PROVE IT. AVOID do not risk it because I wonder how many others they have done this to? I’ll get the money back EVENTUALLY via Visa disputes but why should I have to???!!!

Nothing fancy about this takeaway shop but food was OK.

I went to the wrong Chinese.. Was meant to go to Wok Away, what a terrible mistake. Food was rubbish, just poor quality, chewy, stale food. Also just over saturated with sugar.

Disgusting custmoer service. Couldnt fulfil a delivery time even though the order was placed 3 bloody hours before!!!!!! How can this be??? Plenty of customers would have phoned in and recieved their orders after i placed mine!!. They cancelled my order because they didnt like the fact that i was not happy!!!! Disagracefull. Disgusting customer service very rude and claimed to be the manager when questioned. some lessons in customer relations needed fast she hung up with an attitude. would never use these again and the real manager needs to know exactly how there staff behave on the phone. Very poor.

Shocking customer service, hung up on me, not the first time either. Refused to deliver to me again because my delivery address was difficult to locate even though I live 5 minutes away and she gave the wrong delivery address/instructions to the driver. Kept calling to get an update and she was very rude and didn't give me any information. Luckily I got a call from the driver and directed him myself, delivery took up to an hour. I can't believe the attitude i received considering the current situation going on at the moment. I will not be contacting this restaurant ever again.

Only left 1 star as I cannot leave review without putting a star. Rude member of staff answering the calls sighing and haf to keep asking her to repeat herself as i couldnt hear what she was saying. Worst takeaway experience I've ever had. Cancelled our order in the end and had a refund. Order took over an hour and a half to get to us and recieved the wrong order when we got it. No desire to help us over the phone, asked for a refund in the end as didn't want cold food.

If you know what your ordering, it will be absolutely delicious, the food is made amazing fresh and tasty, for that is taking a bit to deliver, but the pack its always hot.

Best Chinese around. Won't go anywhere else now. Great tasting food quick delivery. Our second time using them tonight everyone happy plus leftovers for tomorrow!!

Great meal from Dragons Edge, really friendly customer service also, I think delivery times are long due to the volume of orders and as a business you can not just employ a load more drivers as this would affect the future of the business, I highly recommend trying Dragons Edge, great value and quality.

What an absolute shower. Received an email to say the food would be delivered at 21:25. We arrived home at around 20:35. Then had a message on my phone to say I'd had 3 missed calls from an unknown number which I would ordinarily ignore. Phoned the takeaway at around 21:35 to say that the food had not been delivered and the response was absolutely unbelievable. If I was to say she was rude I'd be being polite and as it's a review and don't want to be explicit. The woman on the phone was so rude and unapproachable. She even called me "mate". I have never experienced customer service like this before. The food was to be delivered at 21:25 and apparently arrived at 20.30. I really don't think it's my fault that the food was delivered nearly 1 hour early and for me not to be in. How this woman is still is business is beyond me. Had to give 1 star, but really it's zero. SHOCKING.

Partner ordered food last night tried somewhere new. Never letting him order food again as we both now very sick.

good food, when the correct order arrives but the young girl on the desk at the moment comes across as very rude.

If I could give zero stars I would. Disgusting customer service and the food came an hour and a half before I ordered it! The person I called ended the call on me twice and was rude to me on the phone. When the food came back because nobody was in, they decided to cancel it and not notify us so we are sat waiting food food that ultimately did not come. Definitely do not recommend.

Ordered and given delivery time of 755. It's not 905 and still waiting. Was told at 830 Its on it's way and we are a 10 minute drive from the take away...... by the sounds of the excuses every mum is having a Chinese take away tonight! Not impressed. Even at the best of times the food is always late! Not even offered to have free delivery as compensation.... £5 delivery for a cold mea

Used this Chinese for a few years, food quality and portion size is fantastic for the price. Delivery times can be in excess of 2 hours but that's just because of how busy the place gets.

Phoned up and ordered, was told an hour to and hour and a half, the woman who was in the phone, she had a "I don't care" attitude and sounded like she couldn't be bothered to do her job. Sort her manners out.

We've ordered several times before and never had a problem and always enjoyed are meal. TONIGHT they refused our order, WHY because it was "too far for delivery and a waste of their time" so they said.

This use to be a good Chinese until it changed hands. Now all I can is the food and customer service is appalling. Over cooked food and reheated, And the customer service is better at self service checkouts. Wouldn't even give them half a star now.

Ordered meal told it would be an hour and a half which we accepted for a Saturday night. 3 hours later after 3 phone calls it arrived. The food was cold and when we asked for a discount was told "we'll put a note on the system for next time. " WHAT NEXT TIME !

Apart from a little misunderstanding with the delivery time, everything else was fabulous. As good as any chinese meal I've ever had. Everyone enjoyed it. Thank you.

Ordered our Chinese at 6.15pm was told an hour for delivery. At 7.30pm rang to ask where our delivery was for the lady to say that a delivery driver had not turned up causing a delay on all deliveries and that it would be another half an hour, that our delivery would be with us by 8pm. Nearly 2 hours for a delivery!!! I said it would have taken 2 minutes to telephone and explain the situation and ask if a longer time for the delivery would be okay, the lady did apologize. Then at 8.20pm telephoned to ask where our food was, for the lady to shout at somebody and came back to try and apologize again to say that sadly our food still wasn't out for delivery. I told them not to bother. Cheese on toast for tea. Appeared not to be bothered by our custom, which is not a problem as we won't be ordering from here again.

Always order from here. Never had an issue with delivery time or food. Best chicken chow mein around.

We ordered food from dragon edge january 21st 2018 approx time 17.15 we made our order perfectly clear to the woman on the phone an to our suprise for some reason the food was minging worst ive ever had from them an i wont be going back to it again its enough to put you off chinese food for a long time. I mean for godsake the staff at the dragon edge need to wake up your losing customers for your lack of hygiene an poor quality of food its a bloody discrace an i dread to think that they will kill someone or give someone food poisoning for under cooked food maybe the health an safety excutive needs to be called to there before it really gets out of hand...

DO NOT EAT HERE! We found ANTS in our food, they refused to give us a full refund even though our whole meal was ruined and their response was "it can't be helped if ants get into the food". They had offered to replace the pot of sweet and sour sauce and the spare ribs however we didn't really fancy eating any of it as we had poured the sauce over our food. They were not really apoligetic and were trying to make exscuses for it by saying he could only find a few ants on the surfaces and not in the food!

Shocking don't even waste your time was advised would be delivered at 21.30 then it changed by 30mins still no delivery so I called up and was asked if I wanted to collect item as they had no driver? Erm no thanks ordered on just eat for a reason. I advised that they had wasted my time and told them to cancel my order, reply to which was ok ill cancel....... Clearly the food wasn't even ready and now we are left with no food disappointed guests and no trust in just eat or dragons edge

By far the best Chinese takeaway in have ever had portion size is enormous flavour is exquisite I highly recommend the Dragon Edge is far superior than any other Chinese takeaway in the Tamworth area TRY IT YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED it's worth more than 5 star

Ordered from this restaurant at 19:30, order had not arrived by 21:15 so I rang and was told that it would be leaving the takeaway in 5 minutes. 45 minutes later, still nothing..rang again and told "not being funny yeah, but your order is sat on the side the driver isn't here" extremely poor customer service. Will NEVER order from here again, didn't receive food, poor and rude customer service!!! Super unimpressed.

This Chinese always provides satisfactory food and the service is always pleasant and cheery. My only qualms here are that the prices are a tad high, as there are other Chinese take-outs nearby that are cheaper and perhaps a little higher in quality. I would still recommend this place however, as I am rarely ever dissapointed when I buy from here.
