Myself and family love dr hungry. It’s the BEST!! The food is great and staff members are kind and friendly people Would highly recommend.

Proper, satisfying, tasty, warming food on a winter's day. It's not going to be healthy (mostly), but you're going to enjoy!

Wonderful service, prompt and delivered quickly. Was very clean and tidy. The portions were very big, I just ordered a jacket potato with cheese. Masses of cheese, lots of salad as well. I couldn’t finish it and that's unusual for me. Will definitely go here again as it's relatively near, if I was more mobile I’d walk it. The only complaint I have and I'm being really picky was there was only one menu on a table for four.

Recommended by locals and under new management for the past year, this local cafe is a real gem on the East End Road. Varied and extensive menu, friendly service and a clean, comfortable place to eat.

He comido aquí durante los últimos 20 años con los últimos 2 propietarios. Después de que terminó el bloqueo, estábamos pasando y decidimos entrar. Fuimos recibidos calurosamente por una nueva cara que nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos. Habiendo pedido nuestra comida, nos pusimos a hablar con el caballero que no era otro que el nuevo propietario, Yassin. Nada era un problema para él y el desayuno era DELICIOSO, el café recién hecho muy suave y lleno de aroma. Los precios eran mucho menores que en lugares similares en el área y también se cumplieron todas las precauciones de Covid. ¡Vale la pena visitarlo si está buscando COMIDA CAFÉ DE PRIMERA CALIDAD! !

We were attending a funeral of a relative at a nearby cemetery and we had arrived too early as we had just flown in that morning very early and one of the workers in the cemetery to us about this little cafe and I have to say it was brilliant the food was delicious hot and very generous portions and the menu was full with choices for all. The cafe was spotless clean and the staff where very friendly I would certainly recommend it for everyone to try you won't be disappointed

Recommended to this place by three separate people, so had to try it. Pleased we did. Two adults, one three yr old, all very happy with what was on offer. Every permutation on the English breakfast ie black pudding, bubble and squeak. Fast service, food hot and generous servings. Three large rashers of lean back bacon, soft fried egg perfect for "soldier dipping", plump sausage, beans, good cup of "workman's" tea etc. Staff friendly, made a fuss of our three yr old. Many other choices, including chicken, lasagne. Just simple, unfussy, well cooked and presented food. Happy to recommend.

Great proper simple English breakfast at an even better price with friendly service couldn’t ask anymore for a local breakfast place .

We use Dr Hunger at least twice a week. It looks like a standard workmans cafe. Don't be fooled. The food is great, loads of choice not just fry ups. Staff friendly and spotlessly clean. Regular clients which speaks volumes. Worth every penny.

Always greeted with a friendly smile and greeting from staff. Food is always tasty and as described. Very reasonably priced. Always busy around breakfast and lunchtimes.

We had a cup of tea and a coffee and bacon sandwiches it's was very nice very clean and very nice polite staff would recommend

Probably the best cafe in the world - very clean. Good old fashioned greasy cafe. Worth a visit - sausages bacon eggs burgers u want it they have it. All served with a friendly face

Great breakfast served here by friendly and efficient staff. 143 bus stop merely yards away. I haven't tried any meal other than breakfast here but assume the same standard would be maintained for other meals.

This is a down to earth cafe where you can get lots of standard kinds of food. The service is good, the staff are friendly, and it's next to a laundromat. The veggie breakfast was wonderful.

Dr. Hunger Café is a beautiful tiny cafe on the outskirts of the Greater Finchley suburb. First time eating there, food was fresh, rich and most of all, cheap! The cafe offer an expansive menu of cafe dishes such as eggs, burgers, rice dishes etc. The staff were happy to care of me during lunch, they were all warm and friendly and very easy to talk to.Only downfall of this little cafe is the location, its quite noisy during lunch time hours so plan your visit accordingly.

Everything you remember about good cafs of old, great portions, exactly what you want and fast friendly service. Whats best? A proper mug of tea, tea you can taste.

Good quality meals for all from 7-4pm Monday to Saturday noon. Plenty of tradesmen as well as couples, office workers, teachers and so on. Not a place for a first date but very clean and maintained. Nice athmosphere. Good quality food at excellent prices. Lots of Bacon sausage egg and beans...and chips but also roast beef, yorkshire pudding, lamb etc for £5-6. Bacon sandwich and a tea is £2.80. Very clean place with attentive management. Has newspapers.Located at top of Ossulton Way by East End road
