You gotta go to the place with five stars, right? We thought the same thing and it was awesome. Bartender made awesome NA cocktails that went incredibly with the delicious food. Do yourself a favor and get two eggs with your ramen.

This is the second time recently we’ve used Doyle’s to cater a work function and we really wouldn’t use anyone else. The food is amazing - lots of choice, fresh and tasty plus the customer service is top notch. Doyle’s are a dream to deal with, lovely and friendly, even dropping into the office with the receipt. 100% recommend

Fab service yesterday, went in yesterday morning for a quick sandwich before my theory test. the man behind the counter was so friendly and let me sit down to relax before my test- didn’t get a chance to go back but i passed my theory test. thank you for the friendly service!

Just lovely, simply lovely! The service was quick and the gentleman, who served me, was joyful and very polite and interesting. The salad box and coffee I ordered were prepared quickly and in front of me. Both were delicious. My salad box cost only £3.60 & it was lovely to look at and even better to taste. I will be coming back again and if I get a job in Newcastle may make a habit of coming more than twice a week!

Absolutely love it here. The salad boxes are amazing, really generous portions, plenty to choose from (and not just your boring bog standard salad choices) plus you can opt for a bit of everything and all for £3.50! The staff are always really friendly and although there is usually a queue, it goes down quickly and is worth the wait.

Went last week and had a great time with family and friends:) Lovely atmosphere. Definetly will come back!

I have worked in Newcastle for 3 years and it was only a few months ago that a colleague asked me if I'd ever been to Doyles. I'd never heard of them - so the answer was no. He said they were definitely worth visiting - especially as they were literally a few minutes walk fro our office in the centre of Newcastle. They are truly a gastronomic revelation!!! Choice, quality, quantity all in abundance and the staff are the friendliest you'll meet. If you head there for your lunch you may have to join a queue out of the door - but stick with it as it will be worth the wait. Since finding them, I've also used them for corporate buffets too - delivered to the door at the exact time requested, freshly prepared and piping hot (sausages!!)

Loads if choice, big portions, reasonable prices. Jacket potato always a winner and the tomato and roast pepper soup is beautiful. I'm surprised this place has so few reviews. A hidden jem

A fantastic place to grab lunch in Newcastle if you're on a short break or on your way down to the Quayside. The owners manage to serve at lightning speed whilst getting to know all their regulars and keeping the little place in a beautiful part of Dean Street ticking over nicely. If you're lucky enough to get one of the two tables you'll also get great service here despite the queue out of the door - Doyle's has built up a very loyal crowd from surrounding businesses. The food is delicious, very cheap, and served with a smile.

What a find. If you do nothing else in Newcastle on Tyne go hand have lunch at Doyles. There is only two tables but the food provided is both wholesome, cheap, and filling. I would like to see him in Greymouth

You won't find a friendlier sandwich shop in Newcastle that's for sure. Decent sandwiches too.

On Dean street which goes down to the Quay area. A tiny but busy take away sandwich bar with small seating area . Lots of locals use for lunch time . Staff knew customers by first names. We stopped by for a fast food fix. The staff very pleasant. The sandwich was tasty and really filling. prices were very reasonable.
