After a long trip with our unwell child, the staff at Hilton Edinburgh Airport were incredibly supportive. The night porter kindly brought us toast in the middle of the night, and the chef prepared plain rice both at breakfast and again at check-out. Truly thoughtful service — we highly recommend this hotel!

Stayed one night for a work trip, really good location plenty of car parking spaces, the check in is fast and efficient and you get a welcome cookie which is a nice touch. The rooms are good with plenty of space, my only negative is that the restaurant staff seem a bit stressed which makes it not the best environment too eat in bit of a shame because the food is spot on

I bought parking here and it was brilliant as I just parked and went inside and collected a bus pass and I waited about 10min for the bus, the drive to the airport was nice and smooth.

Quick walk to terminals, even closer to rental car lot, rooms quiet couldnt tell we were at airport.

Francesca was lovely, very welcoming and sweet. Room was clean and spacious. They gave free cookies so yummy. Location was great bc we had a 6am flight.

Stayed at the this DoubleTree recently as we had an early flight the following morning and it was great to be at the airport with close proximity to the terminal and free shuttle bus. Room was large and comfortable. The negative was the restaurants food, it was terrible, the “loaded nachos” was shocking. It was just a plain packet of chips and some cheese sauce with avocado dip, salsa and sour cream. I was expecting loaded nachos to have meat and some flavour? When I asked the server he dismissed it as “oh is that how they do it in America”. For reference we are Australian.. if only I had taken a photo. Also the £15 was outrageous for such.

Didn't actually stay here, but booked hotel parking before a recent trip abroad. Excellent location and easy enough to park and walk to the terminal.

Very nice hotel and excellent service. I would not expect a swimming pool near the airport ☺️Acknowledged my gold status and provided the best service. The food at the restaurant is nice. Thanks to Thomas Peachey the front office manager and the staff at the restaurant and housekeeping.

First time with Doubletree by Hilton at Edinburgh airport. On arrival reception staff were friendly and attentive. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Didn't use pool or gym facilities but did have a look for next time . Food in restaurant was very nice and staff again were very friendly. Overall another excellent stay with Hilton 10/10

Great place for meetings, very handy. Just watch out for the parking. You NEED to register your car with reception to avoid a £100 fine..

After 10 hours of traveling before my early morning flight this room and shower was heaven on earth.

Perfectly close to airport. Walking distance. Onsite restaurant. My only grumble are the rooms. Walls are so thin, can hear the neighbours talking, using the bathroom, etc.

We stayed at the hotel for one night because we had an early flight the next morning. We booked the cheapest room but then got an upgrade. The room was very new and very large. It was beautifully furnished. We immediately felt at home. Everything was also incredibly clean. Despite the location right next to the airport and train station, it was extremely quiet. The pool and sauna were also very good. The airport is less than 10 minutes away.

Enjoyed a Spa day with my family. The masseuse called coralina(Hope I have that correct) was very good at her job. So professional and such a relaxing and lovely experience. My wife and daughter felt the same. Would highly recommend.

I made a reservation through Agoda, including breakfast. But when I checked in, the hotel said breakfast was not included, so I paid and asked the hotel to reconfirm. After checking out, about 36 pounds was automatically charged. I sent an email requesting confirmation 3 times, but I did not receive a response. The worst hotel ever!!

Nice room but even though they say they are dog-friendly they aren't fully dog-friendly as you are only allowed to dine with your dog in non-carpeted areas, 95% of the bar area is carpeted so no use even if you do book a tabel. Reception and waiting staff are pleasant but the food and beverage “manager” is rude and unhelpful when THEY have messed up their table plan.

We had a canceled flight but your waiter Cata made it great. He is one of the best waiters ever. He realy understand "service"

A quick walk to the airport. There's also a bus stop out front, it would be nice if there was a footpath between the bus stop and the hotel so that you didn't have to wheel your luggage all the way around the carpark or through the grass if you chose to take the bus. Excellent hotel, warm, quiet, and comfortable.

It is extremely hard to get in touch with this hotel. Once I tried to contact them through online chat. I waited for hours. Once I called, my phone was redirected multiple times. The employees seemed to know very little about their systems and bookings. They insisted that I should contact the third party where my reservation was made, while I booked it directly from their website. Very disappointing services. I had a reservation from 24th to the 27th of January. But all flights to Edinburgh on 24 January got cancelled because of an extreme storm, which is something beyond my control. I thought it is reasonable to ask for a refund. I called them, wrote them emails, and chat them online. One employee said they will refund me within 24 hours, the other told me my reservation cannot be refunded. In the end, it seemed that refunded me for two out of three nights without any notifications or explanations.

Perfect location for airport. Possible on foot but shuttle too. Restaurant on site although a little expensive. Very pleasant reception staff and comfortable room. Swimming pool and hammam sauna. GOOD

Overnight stay for early flight. Comfy bed and nice clean room. TV had a problem and they couldn't fix it.

Easy to get to Edinburgh on the tram service and to the airport, the staff were very accommodating and the services good, reasonable prices for the location and convenience. Don’t forget your complementary cookies.

Worst hotel so far in my travelling experience of 100+ countries. I tried a few times to contact them via chat function and telephone to ask where exactly we can get the alleged shuttle service from the airport. No response from the chat, telephone said just go out at the airport (more info, Edinburgh airport has several exits so you need to be precise where exactly to go). Arrived after midnight, no shuttle bus so we had to drag ourselves from the airport with lugagges. Mentioned this to the reception and the lady just shrugged. 'Oh ok', said she. Great response. Room is adequate with cell blocks vibe with everlasting long bricks corridor. Breakfast is ok; not good nor bad. Entrance is dimly-litted by sad lamps that need to be changed. Check out was swift and sufficient. Mentioned the new reception about the lack of clarity of the shuttle service and they said the sutthle bus will drop you off where they pick us up. I would not know where that is if we had not been picked up to begin with, no? I recommend other airport hotels nearby. Either Moxy or Hampton will do (stayed in all of them and those two are much better). Third rate service with first world rate charge. And that is rich since I am from a third world (or LIMCs or Global South countries. Whatever term float your boat) myself. 2-3 stars hotels in my country even offer better service than this place.

Great location & you can easily walk to the airport terminal if you are travelling light. The hot chocolate chip cookies that reception offer are delicious.

Moxy Edinburgh Airport is a better option, it's right in front... We chose the Hilton for proximity to the airport, pool and gym. But it turns out that since it was December 25, it was closed, and they didn't warn about it anywhere. Very upset because we were going with teenagers and it was our Christmas gift. You should notify us in advance or compensate with a reduction in the amount paid, since we cannot enjoy all the services. Apart from the very expensive restaurant and low quality food. Very cold atmosphere and the rest of the tables empty. A shame because the hotel had promise, but it was a disappointment!!

Perfect hotel for your trip and beside other things what make it best is it’s outstanding staff. We arrived during Christmas time and still didn’t faced any issue. Hotel is well located next to airport. You can walk or take free shuttle . Ample parking space, clean rooms, water kettle and tea in room, indoor pool etc. you can hop on to tram to go to city . Definitely recommended.. And yeh remember not to forgot to get complementary signature Double Tree Cookie while checking in…. Only problem we had is that despite Christmas the rooms were a bit warm (as there is no centralised AC) it was a bit difficult to sleep. But there was a table fan in a room which helped us.

Hilton did not allow me to use any of my rights even though I was a gold member, She said the hotel was full, but it was actually empty. There was a bad smell in the room, There was garbage in the corridors of the hotel The person at the reception is not a gentleman at all and does not represent Hilton policy

Allowed someone who fraudulently booked a reservation using someone else’s credit card to stay and refused a refund after knowing it was fraud. Bad morals, bad ethics, do not recommend

One of the best malls in Aberdeen

Really comfortable stay, cozy wee room and amazing pool which I had all to myself in the morning and was able to do a few lanes in. So practical to be right next to the airport, would happily stay again any time.

Good hotel. Be careful when parking. I received a fine of 100 pounds for parking for 28 minutes. It is clearly written at the entrance that parking is paid (15 minutes free) but the entry and exit barriers were wide open, making me believe that the system was not working.

Close to airport, has airport shuttle. Only issue is shuttle drops you a 5+minute walk to airport terminal. Luckily there was a luggage cart to rent nearby. If you need to be dropped off directly, you'll need a taxi.

Booked because it was close to the airport (return flight at dawn). Arrived at 8pm and left at 5am. The only hotel on the trip that demanded two deposits for two rooms already paid for (one still not returned). Plus they wanted 16 euros for one night of car parking. Nice hotel but too greedy and snobbish.

Had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Edinburgh Airport! The breakfast selection was excellent, with plenty of options to suit all tastes. The dinner menu was decent—special shoutout to the grilled charcoal kebab, which was a standout dish. The rooms were a decent size, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel’s access to public transport made getting to the city a breeze. I’d like to especially recognize the amazing staff: Stefi at reception made our check-in process smooth and stress-free, and Vladimir in the restaurant went above and beyond, even making us a perfect Irish coffee despite it not being on the menu. Overall, a wonderful experience—highly recommended!

Very large swimming pool, very delicious cookies, very delicious beer, and there is a shuttle bus to the airport from three o'clock in the morning, so I can fly out from here without any worries

Hotel opposite the airport, fulfills its function 100%, with the quality of the Hilton brand. Large room, well equipped, excellent bathroom, very good dinner on request, shuttle to the airport every 20 minutes.

Very friendly service on arrival including 2 warm cookies. We were upgraded room which was unexpected but greatly appreciated. The hotel itself is very modern and clean. The rooms were excellent. Very clean, spacious and cozy. The room doesn't come with a mini fridge which I have had in most budget hotels but this is specified in your room booking. Overall very happy with my stay and will use again if I'm in need for a hotel close to the airport.

Fantastic stopover for the 2 of us. We attended the Edinburgh Tattoo and were terribly disappointed with it but the hotel was faultless. Room was amazing, staff were very professional, always courteous and always smiling. Even when faced by some very rude and aggressive patrons who's behaviour towards them almost led to my intervention. And, it's only a hop away from the wonderful tram station. We were in an out of Edinburgh in no time at all. It's ***** from us. Thank you Doubletree.

Compared to the other hotels which we have stayed at around the airport, this is by far the best. Great comfort and really good food.

So close to the airport easy access

The worst DoubleTree ever. Shouldn’t be called a Hilton DoubleTree at all. No air conditioning in any room. ALL the signs in this building are wrong. The signs show that Reception is on the 3rd floor — nope ! It shows the Health Club is on the 3rd floor — nope ! The signs show the Business Center is on the 3rd floor. We walked all over this terrible hotel. There is NO Business Center at all. Why are there signs for something that does not exist ??!! The rooms are kinda like a very poor motel. Definitely not up to DoubleTree standards. The ONLY thing that is DoubleTree level is the price !! Very expensive hotel. Stay anywhere else ! Sleep in you car would be better.

Showers are horrible, beds are super comfortable and the service was great. Disappointed that you have to pay extra for parking on site after paying for 2 rooms.

Catastrophic! The rooms are dated! The swimming pool closes at 4 p.m. for access to the room at 3 p.m.! Needless to say, there is no swimming pool! The prices are abominable for a quality worthy of a Formula 1 for a price of £250 per night! Unacceptable!

A nice hotel to stay in for a day or so. Staff are really friendly, restaurant portion sizes were very generous and the room was clean and tidy. The one comment would be the lighting was low so which, personal preference, I would have liked to have brighter lighting in the room as it was a bit dim trying to work on my laptop

A somewhat outdated business hotel. Perfect location with a 10 minute walk to the airport and access to the city. Large, very clean rooms and friendly staff.

As a leisure trip rather than a pre flight over night, we had more time to relax at this great staffed Hilton. Room was perfect with great coffee machine, comfortable bed and pillows, adjustable aircon. Peaceful sleep in the quiet. Lovely walking shower with choice of settings with proper size towels! Great food in restaurant for evening meal and breakfast. It is the staff who make the stay so good.

Drove into the car park as there was an issue with my parents flight. I was landed with a £100 parking penalty. Stay well clear of this place.

I chose the hotel because it is very close to Edinburgh airport. You can easily walk to the hotel from the rental car station. From the hotel it is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the airport. There is also a shuttle. The rooms are great and the restaurant is also recommended, but sometimes a bit crowded.

Amazing hotel. Staff really helpful and knowledgeable. The wee Romanian guy behind the bar was particularly helpful and attentive. Can't remember his name. Food was amazing and the pool and health suite were also brilliant. Couldn't fault the place and I will certainly be back again soon

Location for airport - excellent plus a free shuttle bus too. Restaurant - food was excellent and catered to my dietary requirements, too, without any issues. Bedroom - lovely, comfortable bedroom with plenty of space. Staff - among the most professional I have met. Super friendly and helpful, too. Only small negative: Quite a transient hotel with people coming and going throughout the night, but it is an airport hotel after all 🤷‍♀️ I had an early start myself and perhaps if I hadn't been panicking about sleeping through my alarm, then I might not have noticed it or been woken up so often.

I travel for work on w weekly basis, this is normal a double tree. However, whoever trained the staff here should be promoted. I had 6-7 interactions with the staff, and each time, it was notable expecpetional. I had been in two other hotels this week, and it was a really shock to the system to have this level of professionalism thrown at me! Well done!!!

It was great experience with excellent customer service at reasoprice. Surrounded by many hotels yet is one of the busiest hotel. Has good spa and pool facilities. The breakfast was complimentary and good.

I'm booked, but haven't stayed yet (Arriving very soon) I pressed Make a Booking on the website for the restuarant and got sent to the 'Dish Cult' website Can't find teh hotel or restaurant When I put in the hotel's postcode EH28 8LL it says no restaurants found at that post-code!!!! The opening hours state Mon-Sun 6:00am to 10:00 am but it's a 24 hr restaurant so I assume this means 6:00am Monday until 10:00 Sunday???? or something Hope my stay is better than this

It's DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport. A wonderful place, close to the airport and quiet. I had a brief night stop over, and I wished I could stay longer because the staffers are so welcoming that you'll always wish to meet them at all time.
