Double Knot Cafe in North Warwickshire

Acabo de recibir dos empanadas de cabra al curry y omg creo que el bombo, pastelería en escamas absolutamente lleno hasta el borde con cabra muy bien condimentada y queso mac n wow fabuloso

Mal servicio. Los platos principales llegaron con 20 minutos de diferencia. El ponche de ron y el pollo patán eran geniales. Las papas fritas y empanadas cargadas eran pobres. No iré de nuevo

Estábamos sentados, pedimos nuestras bebidas y recibimos nuestro plato principal solo 10 minutos después. Desafortunadamente, la comida no era fresca, y la empanada se había terminado - salado.

Agradecería que pudiera pasar este mensaje al propietario o gerente, ya que quiero llamar su atención sobre dos experiencias muy decepcionantes que he tenido en su restaurante. El primer incidente ocurrió en enero cuando visité con un grupo. Llegamos una hora tarde, lo cual reconozco que fue culpa nuestra. Al llegar, nos informaron que no podíamos hacer un pedido ya que nuestra mesa tenía que ser dada a la siguiente reserva. Entendiendo la situación, optamos por comida para llevar en su lugar. Sin embargo, nos hicieron esperar una hora entera de pie junto a la entrada, que no podía cerrar correctamente, en un día helado - 2 °C en Londres. Lo que hizo esto aún más frustrante fue que la mesa que se suponía que debíamos desocupar permaneció vacía todo el tiempo. Aunque acepto cierta responsabilidad por llegar tarde, la falta de alojamiento en esta situación fue decepcionante. Mi segunda experiencia, sin embargo, fue completamente inaceptable. El domingo 16 de febrero , visité tu restaurante para una cena de San Valentín con mi novio. Teníamos una reserva para 6 : 30 PM y llegamos precisamente a tiempo. Sin embargo, nos dijeron que esperáramos fuera en frío durante 30 minutos antes de sentarnos finalmente a las 7 : 00 PM. Cuando hablé con un miembro del personal que creo que es el gerente, le expliqué que creo contenido alimenticio y me encantaría filmar y promocionar su restaurante, a pesar de mi experiencia anterior desagradable. Solicité amablemente sentarme en el mostrador o cerca de los letreros de neón, ya que esos lugares tenían mejor iluminación para filmar. Sin embargo, me dijeron que el restaurante estaba lleno, y esos asientos estaban reservados para otros huéspedes. Esto tenía poco sentido, ya que tanto la mesa que se nos asignó como la que solicité eran mesas para dos, y las mesas no tenían nombres asignados. Además, durante toda nuestra comida, los asientos del mostrador permanecieron vacíos, así como la segunda mesa más cercana al letrero de neón. Un poco de flexibilidad en la disposición de los asientos habría marcado una diferencia significativa. Dada la popularidad de Double Knot, mejorar la flexibilidad de los asientos podría aumentar la satisfacción del cliente y, en última instancia, el crecimiento del negocio. Desafortunadamente, el mal servicio no se detuvo allí. Nuestra orden no fue tomada hasta las 7: 15 PM — 45 minutos después de nuestra hora de reserva original — a pesar de otras mesas que llegaron después de nosotros teniendo sus pedidos tomados primero. Incluso tuvimos que subir al mostrador para pedir bebidas porque nadie se nos acercaba. El mismo gerente que había desestimado nuestra solicitud de asientos nos ignoró de nuevo, convirtiéndonos en la última mesa en realizar un pedido. Nuestra comida finalmente llegó a las 7: 35 PM. Por si fuera poco, después de solo 30 minutos de cena, nos dijeron abruptamente que teníamos que irnos para dejar espacio para los próximos huéspedes. Esto fue a pesar de que: Habíamos llegado a tiempo, pero nos sentamos tarde. Nuestro pedido fue tomado significativamente más tarde que otros huéspedes que llegaron después de nosotros. A otras mesas que habían llegado tarde y habían recibido sus órdenes primero no se les pidió que se fueran. Esto nos obligó a cancelar nuestro pedido de postres, lo que solo aumentó la decepción. El doble rasero en el tratamiento fue frustrante y completamente injusto. A pesar de estas experiencias, todavía me tomé el tiempo para crear y compartir contenido sobre Double Knot en mi Instagram, sin embargo, no se reconoció por completo, a diferencia de, sin publicar, mientras que el contenido de otros creadores se compartió. No puedo dejar de preguntarme si mi segunda experiencia fue influenciada por el sesgo de la primera visita, ya que la forma en que fuimos tratados se sentía personal e injustificada. Es realmente una pena, ya que disfruto realmente de la comida en Double Knot, y como alguien de herencia china, hago todo lo posible para apoyar y promover diversas cocinas. Sin embargo, esta experiencia me dejó sintiéndome irrespetado y extremadamente decepcionado. Insto encarecidamente a Double Knot a reevaluar su gestión, mejorar el servicio al cliente e implementar una mayor flexibilidad en la disposición de los asientos.

Este es un lugar precioso toda la comida era divina, buenas bebidas ensalada fresca gran vibra 10/10 recomendaría, empanadas cargadas eran maravillosas

Personal amable, la música me hizo bailar, pero la comida estaba en su punto. Tuve el ponche de ron. OMD pensó que estaba en JA. Gran saludo a todo el personal, especialmente a la Sra. Trinidad 🇹🇹. Era encantadora. No salgas mucho, pero voy a volver allí.

La comida era deliciosa y Natalie hizo nuestra noche muy encantadora! La comida llegó rápidamente también, y también nuestras bebidas. ¡Volveremos!

Absolutamente deliciosa comida caribeña, volveré! Vinimos en su noche caribeña y la música y las vibraciones eran geniales. Además, el personal era muy amable y acogedor (gritar a Natalie! ) Lugar perfecto para un poco de buena comida del alma.

Una linda joya escondida en Angel. Grandes cócteles y comida caribeña casera increíble. La música y el servicio era de primer nivel (gracias Natalie). Nos aseguraremos de volver.

The food here is amazing especially the the jerk prawns my goodness the jerk prawns… 100% recommend this place. Cocktails are nice too 👌🏾

Excellent breakfast place! TripAdvisor led me here and it was a great recommendation! Delicious breakfast that you can build yourself, freshly squeezed juices, and delicious coffee. Would go again. On weekend might be wise to book a table

Entrance - It’s a hidden gem in Angel, you wouldn’t notice it straight away, but when you do, you’ll see it. Food - I ordered Jerk chicken with rice and peas with a side of mac and cheese and when I tell you, this was the first time in my 30+ years of life thwt I’ve gone to a Caribbean restaurant and not been disappointed by anything. It was the nicest Caribbean food I’ve had in a long time. Very tasty and you could tell it was cooked from fresh. My partner ordered jerk prawns and curry goat loaded mac and cheese. He really enjoyed the prawns but when the waitress took our order she put down loaded fries so he received the wrong order. We made them aware straight away & the chef Ali profusely apologised for this and ensured my partner got the correct meal. It then took another 15 mins for the right order to come and by then my partner was too annoyed and lost his appetite so he couldn’t finish it as he wanted to enjoy it with his jerk wings. Besides all of the above though he did try both dishes and said they were really good it’s just a shame the order was registered wrong - the waitress should’ve confirmed back everything we ordered instead of walking away so quickly. Drinks - We ordered rum punch, had 2 cocktails each and they were so good! I’m a drinker and the first glass had me feeling merry so they are clearly generous with the rum. Very nice drinks. Decor - The layout of the restaurant is interesting and the decor is unique - I liked it. It doesn’t look like every other restaurant, that’s what makes it so unique. The tables upstairs are a bit close together but other than that, good. Atmosphere - It was a Friday night so busy as you can imagine. The music was very loud and they play bashment music, you can hardly hear yourself talk - most probably why the order was taken wrong. I think they should play more lovers rock reggae and less shenseea- it felt like I was eating in a rave. Cleanliness - Clean, no issues there. Any time a table was finished, they would clean it straight away. Cost - £97.50 for jerk chicken, mac and cheese, 4 rum punch cocktails, jerk prawns and loaded curry goat mac and cheese. Customer service - Special mention to Ali the chef, he was honestly the nicest person in there. When he realised my partners order was taken wrong, he was so apologetic. He kept going to check when the right order was finished and constantly reassured us. Himself and the lady that worked alongside him were very good cooks as the food was cooked to perfection. My only critique is the lady that took our order, I didn’t catch her name but she looked French, she should’ve confirmed back what we asked for then no orders would’ve got wrong. She didn’t apologise either. Overall - 9/10 - My experience was different to my partners, besides everything that happened with him, I had a good time and would definitely return however my partner said he would not return due to his experience which is a shame. This cosy spot was such a hidden gem stumbled across this little cafe while walking our dog. The staff were so friendly and accommodating with my pet dog, they even had treats and gave my dog water. Really recommend coming here if you want something quick and delicious. I recommend getting a tropical rise and passion for drinks, double knot mediterranean and French toast for food 😍

Lovely ambiance and atmosphere, coffee quality on point, customer service very good, and the variety and quality of food served was amazing.

Defo recommend double knot the food is really tasty and good portion size, staff are friendly and the service is quick Would recommend the Mediterranean breakfast! Super tasty will be back for chicken and waffles My fiend is vegetarian so went for that option and she was pleased.

Was in the area and fancied some lunch, stumbled across this place. Food was great, quality of the food was good, really hit the spot. I will be back!

The pancakes was delicious and I had the shakshuka which was amazing lovely atmosphere and the staff are really welcoming my missies had avocado on toast which she enjoyed definitely will be back !

My first time at double knot having dinner it was an amazing time and the vibe is so chill! I arrived on a Friday as they were doing a carribean night event really liked the jerk chicken and rice with the rum punch! Highly recommend the menu with brunch and dinner time as well :)

Nice ambient atmosphere. The food was great. I ordered the full english breakfast with a nice hot coffee. Service was a bit slow but understandable it was a busy morning.

This place is an absolute little gem. I had the Shakshuka and it was bursting of flavour. My partner had the eggs bendict and she thoroughly enjoyed also. 10/10

Been many times and it never disappoints! Special mention to the Shakshouka, French toast and avocado toast. Love that it has a very local vibe as well and waiters are always nice.

Husband was getting hangry in London, and we needed some beans on toast — stat! We were over the moon to find the Double Knot that had traditional English brekkie and lots of vegetarian options too! Service was amazing and super friendly, and coffee was divine! So much so that doubled back the next morning too! Great lil’ nook for a delicious breakfast and fast friendly service in the heart of Angel!
