Lovely except ordered Singapore noodles and egg fried rice was delivered.

Amazing food and delivered in good time, good portion sizes too, can’t fault it :)

Ordered the egg fried rice & onion rings, both items arrived cold, the egg fried rice tasted bland, free rice crackers tasted stale, the only edible item was the duck spring rolls.

Delivery was on time but the food wasn’t that good didn’t have no flour to it and didn’t taste how it should

I can’t comment on the quality because the order was still hasn’t arrived! If a restaurant can not meet the time scheduled. Don’t be on just eat. Not good enough. And it’s a reflection on Just eat!

delivered the wrong food over an hour late. Got somebody else's order. GDPR failure as I had their telephone number and address. Called them and they had our order, address and telephone number. Completed incompetent!!! Absolutely awful!!! Will never use again and should be struck off the app

What happened? This used to be my favorite Chinese, but it's gone downhill.. It used to take 45 minutes at most to deliver, but we received it 2 and half hours later after ordering. According to the driver, there's ONE cook running the entire kitchen! If you can't deal with so many orders, stop taking them. I really don't like to leave bad reviews but it's pretty bad. I don't want to have to give up on them, the food is amazing (hence 2 stars) UPDATE 3/24 - I didn't want to give up on them so I tried them again a few times over the last 9 months, and service seems to have improved, though still not the best. I waited between 45-80 minutes

I placed an order for collection was told cash only yet once arrived there was card on the window I questioned them about this and was told “no cash only” any way I got my order the food was disgusting the egg fried rice was like slosh chicken balls was over done and noodles was so dry, the lake avenue one is lovely but unfortunately is shut on Tuesdays which is why I went to this one… never again🤮

Horrible experience - never again. Originally waited an hour for 'it' to arrive.. when it didn't arrive by its later time, we called the restaurant who told us they would look into it and didn't call us back. Called again, 20 minutes later they said it would be 10 minutes. Another 45 minutes later, it arrived.... not sure how many times it had been reheated chicken was chewy. Too much badly cut veg thrown into the dishes - turned my stomach. Waited 2 hours 40 minutes in total for a disgusting meal - refused to give any sort of refund or recognition for horrible experience.

Food was ok and it was hot. Delivery was poor. Gave over an hour for delivery but was 15 mins after that.

So late. And then was offered £5, for me to ask the delivery driver for £5, then the delivery driver said he had no money and have since been refused a refund

Steer clear of this restaurant at all costs. My recent experience was a complete nightmare. Despite enduring a three-hour wait for delivery, the food arrived cold and unappetising. Even the cucumber salad was warmer than the other dishes. When I called the restaurant to ask where our food was, the staff member I spoke to rudely suggested that I collect the order myself. There was no effort to make amends or compensate for the poor service. This establishment clearly has no regard for its customers. Save yourself the trouble and order elsewhere.

Use this takeaway regularly and tonight they were well over an hour later than the estimated time which was already an hour. The order was also incorrect and no refund offered. Really disappointed. Will choose alternative business in future

This will be the last time I order, which is a shame, but mistakes are happening more and more frequently. A fair few times, we haven’t received prawn crackers- an absolute staple on any Chinese order. This time, the ‘free drink’ didn’t turn up. Yes, I know it’s free, but they advertise it and after paying £56 for a Chinese, I don’t think they should be missing things out.

Food took 2 hours from confirmation to show up and was cold. Taste was good but disappointing that it took so long and was cold.

I’m fed up with hit and miss Chinese take away, this firmly falls into this category, first time using was really good, but alas tonight what a different story, took 3 hours for good to arrive, then was cold and VERY greasy, was difficult to get hold of the restaurant as line was constantly engaged, then when you did get through the person wasn’t very helpful, and you can hear the kitchen and what can only be described as what sounded like a Chinese Gordon Ramsey shouting and clearly demanding,

AVOID!!! Do not order from here... unless you have all the time in the world to wait for food. After 2 hours, we still had not received our food. Eventually, I get through to the restaurant, to be told the food is being prepared in the kitchen and will be another 20 minutes. Asked for a refund, and they offered a can of drink, then fortune cookies, then £5 refund and then £10 refund. The person taking the call had to ask his "boss." Eventually saying that it's his fault and apologetic... Will be giving me a full refund and cancelled my order. Now, 2 hours later, I'm on the hunt for food again. Absolute waste of time. The only reason why I gave the food a bad rating is because I never received it.

Special fried rice was very soggy and mushy with little flavour, salt and pepper mix was tasty but did not receive any crispy seaweed as described. Order was 50 minutes late

Almost 1.5hrs late currently as I write this and I seem to not learn my lesson the first time I've ordered. Wanted family to eat something and chill on a Saturday night, ordered at 7pm, now almost 9pm. Called restaurant at 8pm and said they're cooking it now. How is it taking this long?! Seriously bad service, lack of updates. Shame because food tastes great... when it comes. Really cannot recommend this place. If you want something in good time, go elsewhere. Asked for refund as still not here.

I was a bit scared to order from Double Dragon as the last time my order didn't arrive. But this time it came during the estimated time and the food was still warm. Prawn crackers and vegetable spring rolls came as extra for free. Very happy with it.

Late delivery, when arrived was luke warm. Portion size of chips was horrific for the money, and all soft and soggy unfortunately. Would not recommend or go back.

Nearly 2 hours late, communication from the restaurant was appalling. After about 2 hours one of the drivers called to let us know they were on their way. The owner of the restaurant need to work on their communication with their drivers rather than guessing “10minutes”. The food was nice but did arrive cold.

Strange Chinese. Rice seem boiled, not fried, with huge lumps of dry meat and egg. Kung Po too spicy (not chilie as should be), too dark and sour, no sweet to balance. Seemed unauthentic (i know the chinese we est here isnt actually what chinese people eat, but at least it's usually consistently the same wherever), like an English Mum cooked it. Shame really as was good value. The big spring rolls were mini, not big, just not a tiny as the mini's!

Very average. Sent pineapple fritters when I asked for banana.

I am sorry to say that this was our first time ordering from here and will be the last, was very disappointed with the food, all the meat was overcooked, the rice was over cooked and undercooked at the same time, noodles were over cooked, chilli beef was burnt, not our usual Chinese takeaway and unfortunately will not be using again, to finish on a good note though the spring roles were ok

We placed an order and was given the estimated delivery time. Phoned up after this time had elapsed and then had to phone another two times to keep chasing the order. When it finally turned up over an hour late, half the order was stone cold, the crispy 'elements' were mush where they had steamed in their tray and we had to throw half the order away. If there is any defence, the driver was pleasant and did apologise. Wouldn't recommend.

Placed a £30ish order. Just Eat / Double Dragon were quick enough to take payment. Had to phone three times. First time, 45 minutes later was told that the food was just being cooked and that it would be another 20-25 minutes. Phoned back half an hour later, was told that they would come back to me. Phoned back a third time and was told that they were busy and it was on its way. Food finally turned up. Half of the order was lukewarm and edible but some of it was cold and inedible. The Salt and Pepper Platter was supposed to include crispy beef - this had obviously steamed in the tray and was soggy and in some places, stone cold and I had to throw it away. Rubbish!! If there is are an positives, they did throw in some free prawn crackers and fortune cookies and the driver did apologise.

Terrible experience- ordered at 4.50pm. Told it would be here at 5.45 & then 6, then 6.20pm, then 6.30pm. Rang them 5 times and only just got it at 8pm…. Absolutely terrible

What food??? Over an hour waiting beyond the delivery slot, had company round and two hungry grandchildren. This is not the first time from this restaurant, will probably wait now for my refund. Avoid at all costs.
