Dosa Club is located at Langley Parade in Crawley and offers an authentic South Indian culinary experience. As frequent visitors, we can attest to the consistently fantastic food quality. Their freshly made crispy masala dosa, fluffy idli, and savoury vada served with flavorful sambar are divine. These simple yet delicious dishes, paired with aromatic South Indian coffee, create a truly satisfying South Indian experience. Basil and Suganthan's welcoming smiles, warm hospitality, and attentive customer service are second to none. For those seeking a break from typical Indian fare and a chance to explore the rich and diverse cuisine of the South, Dosa Club is a must-visit.

Excellent masala dosa! Sweet and mango lassi also great. Quick service, which is welcome after a hard day's work, before you head home. We've eaten here a couple of times already - and will be back again and again.

This review covers both Dosa Club 2 and the original at Langley Green. I started using DC after ULEZ expansion made it too expensive to use my previous goto's. I also note that they both score a 5 on the Food Hygiene Ratings. Finding Sri Lankan establishments with a score above 3 around South London can be challenging. I really like their standard Masala Dosa, good size and filling, nicely on the edge of being crispy and three chutneys which they will allow you to swap out. Curries are really good standard Sri Lankan curries, also a lot like a Karahi or the standard curries we used to get in South London in the 1980s (Dean Takeaway etc). Lunchtime meals are really good - good curry portions rice, raitha and a papadam. Yet to try their Thali. Only downside is that they really could do with opening at 12 instead of 1230, to catch more people on an earlier break.

Dosa club is truly best South Indian in Crawley so far. Their dosa is great! But chicken Manchurian and spicy prawns are fantastic. Lately we’ve discovered their biryanis as well. We have been coming here with friends family and have taken takeout as well. Dosa clubs portions are value for money. We had some other food from other South Indian places in Crawley and they are not as good as this one is. We paid for 3x dosas, chicken biryani, chicken Manchurian and chilli prawns £28.

Why is it that we’ve lived in the area for so long, but only just found out about this place? An Indian friend recommended it, so I knew it had to be good. We’ve been to India many times, so we were hopeful that it would compare well to the ‘real thing’. We needn’t have worried because the food we had was excellent. Everything that we saw being served to other diners also looked superb. We had a different dosa each, but next time I’ll definitely be going for some of the other menu options. We finished off with a kulfi and some gulab jamun and a couple of South Indian coffees. Point to note…bookings not available. Just turn up. Will definitely be back. Soon!

Visited this restaurant twice now to make sure it wasn’t a fluke the first time. The restaurant itself is clean but basic. No flock wallpaper or sitar music in the background. Not a fine dining Indian as they call themselves these days. Mostly booth style tables which are comfortable, and do the job quite nicely. The staff here are very pleasant, and accommodating. There is ample parking outside in the shopping precinct. There is a no booking policy, so you can’t reserve a table. You can’t get a drink here as they are not licensed. The menu is not exhaustively extensive as most Indians restaurants tend to be these days. Now taking all that into account. The food here is nothing short of stunning. What they do. The do exceedingly well. The Dosa here is the best I have eaten outside of India, and still better than most I have eaten in India. They are large and have that delightful crispiness you just can’t get enough of. The potato filling in the masala Dosa is just right. Neither bland, nor over spiced. All of the side chutneys are delightful too. Especially the coconut. On the second visit we added Chilli Crab Masala to the mix. Another stunning dish. You wouldn’t want to get elbow deep in shells, and crab juices in a fine dining restaurant. But here it just feels natural. The crab was well cooked but still soft enough to get through using hands only. The masala gravy was chilli hot but not enough to take away the taste of the crab. A heavy masala sauce full of rich curry leaves. All the other food we saw going past our table looked of amazing quality too. The toilets here are also spotlessly clean, and more modern than the appearance of the place would lead you to believe. Disabled access is not a problem. We will be back soon.

The whole nation is pulling together to reduce the risk of spreading the infection, thereby reducing the burden on the NHS and reducing deaths. I visited on the evening of Monday 19th October to find that they are only taking cash and no forms of card payment are accepted at all. The country first went into lockdown in March; seven months later, there is no good reason why provision for card payment could not have been set up. There is not a chance I will be supporting a business that is seemingly so determined to remain cash only, despite the rest of the nation doing all it can to pull together.

I was a little sceptical on arrival as the location is pretty bad, but I wouldn’t let that detract from good cooking. The food was reasonably priced and my order of mutton kothu i found to be enough for two meals as the portions were so generous i had to take half home. While the dosa and dips lacked flavour the mains tasted of authentic indian food and left me with a curiosity for what else they had on offer. Service did let the place down as the one person working out front was very disinterested and slow in providing service. Overall id like to return as i feel this place has plenty of potential although didnt really wow first time around.

We've been here several times, and whilst it's unlicensed, there's a pub a minutes walk away. I'd never had dosa before, and a work colleague recommended it. I've been back several times since. The dosa's are amazing, light, crispy and generous with the filling, and spice! Don't stop at the dosa though, the starters and curries are also superb, chilli paneer is a personal favourite. Wash it all down with plenty of lassi and you'll go home satisfied!

This is the proper South Indian experience from start to finish - fantastic food, attentive and kind staff and absolutely spotless. The dosas are crispy and light and come with sides of 3 excellent chutneys and the best samber I've tasted since I was last in Chennai. The squid curry is very special indeed (my personal favourite) and the daals are superb. My children love the chicken 65 and the mutton rolls as well as the kids dosa. Stayed at the Ibis Hotel, Gatwick with my daughter (ready for a 6am flight the next day!)After a long day of travelling, we looked online for places to eat nearby and stumbled upon the Dosa Club which was an easy 20 minute walk. And I’m so glad we did! It’s lovely. We arrived before the Saturday night rush - it’s quite small and tucked away in a little local shop/café area. It got pretty busy about 20 minutes after we arrived, but we weren’t rushed and it didn’t get noisy. I had the impression that it was full of locals who were there for delicious food at great prices. The staff were lovely - helpful without being pushy and they brought us a jug of tap water without being asked. We didn’t drink anything else and it didn’t seem to be a problem! We had five dishes and were too full for dessert (I was very sad as they have kulfi!!!)It was £25 and a complete bargain I only wish we lived closer (but it makes the idea of getting flights from Gatwick much more appealing!)If you’re anywhere nearby, go there to eat...you won’t regret it!(And plenty of vegetarian/vegan options too)

The restaurant was so busy tonight. What is evident about this restaurant is that many of the people eat here are of Sri Lankan/South Indian origin, that says a lot. The food itself was good. We had the devilled squid following the recommendation on trip advisor, it was tasty and had some great zing! We also had the saag mutton and chettinand chicken; both were nice but different recipes to what we have had before (note the saag is more of a purée).

This is a have-a-go at a restaurant venture at Sri Lankan food. We ordered a Panner 65 for starters and my friend ordered a chicken fried rice whilst I ordered a special kothu roti from their menu. The starter was too salty and not tasty at all. The main was no different and I instantly noticed the badly cooked meal, having eaten in many well known restaurants in London that were Sri Lankan. This is a budget, lets try run a restaurant venture and I would avoid visiting this place if you are serious about food. I also had a bad stomach when I arrived home - whether directly responsible due to the food - I cannot prove.

The staff ignored me completely and the owner says he don't really care about my business. Apparently customer service is not important and if I visit the restaurant or not is doesn't really matter. Living in a society where customers service is everything the owner of the restaurant told me he is not bothered about my business. We love going to Dosa Club on our own and with our friends. Food is great, very authentic and honestly hard to beat! The only reason for four stars rather than five is that one of the waiters, the oldest chap who I think is called 'Suresh' is quite arrogant and neither my and my wife or our friends we dine there with, never feel comfortable and easy whenever he is serving us. The two other waiters are great and offer truly remarkable service. The cooks are also five star! I had a meal here with a couple of friends and we were all very impressed. The menu is a bit different to the usual choices on offer at "Indian" restaurants which reflects the Southern Indian and Sri Lankan influences here. The starters were particularly delicious and they offer a wide choice of vegetarian and meat dishes. Prices are very reasonable and because they don't serve alcohol (and you aren't allowed to bring your own) the bill actually comes as a nice surprise. We didn't book and they were quite busy for a Tuesday night but we were seated straight away and the service was very good. The decor and atmosphere is more like a cafe than a restaurant and plenty of people seemed to be coming in for a quick snack (the stuffed Dosa breads are a meal on their own) so don't expect the full on restaurant experience but if you are looking for a good quality reasonably priced meal then you can't go wrong here.

Made to feel very welcome. Food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Please don't be put off by the exterior. Could not recommend enough and will be going back.

Been here now many times and I comeback because of the great food / service and value for money. Must try is the chilli paneer and the Ravi Dosa being one of my favourites. Oh by the way rice portions are massive. Very much look forward to my next visit, hoping you can open up a chain in Birmingham.

Have been wanting for a South Indian / Sri Lankan cuisine restaurant open within the Crawley vicinity for a while and finally there is the DOSA CLUB. Friendly staff, good good and reasonably priced. Have recommended to friends already and will visit again.

I'm not familiar with South Indian cuisine so this was new territory for us. Having read the reviews, I knew what to expect from outside, but was pleasantly surprised inside. Staff were very welcoming. We weren't sure what to order, but the manager helped us out with the level of spiciness. Everything was excellent, really tasty and very good value. Can't wait to come back and have more dosas, chilly chicken, lassis and to try a few other dishes too.

Traditional food with wonderful flavours, tastes just like homemade cooking. Portions generous and everything at a very reasonable price. We were offered complimentary halva to try their new recipe which was a pleasant surprise and very yummy. Overall as other reviewers have said, don't be put off by the location and appearance of the restaurant, the food fully makes up for it.

This is one of those wonderful places you discover when you override the outward appearance of a place.

This is a top class place for quality Dosa, Uttapam, Kotthu Roti, and other Sri Lankan delights. Simple clean place in a hidden corner of Crawley. They get really busy on weekends, be prepared for a small wait, but don't miss it. Dosa are large and crispy.

Very different from your typical "British" Indian restaurant. Wonderful Southern Indian/Sri Lankan menu, fresh crispy dosa's, spicy curries, wonderfully different chutneys and friendly service. Very good value for money. Highly recommended!

Very helpful and courteous staff. We drove from the airport well past the time when the hotel closed after lunch service - quite hungry and dying for some food. Reached out to the staff there and he was quite kind to prepare dosas and sambar rice for a group of 5. Much appreciated :)

This was a takeaway delivered to us. Food was crap worst curry I’ve ever had. And to top it off the salad sent out with the order had insects in it. Wast of money very disappointing avoid

We've just finished a delicious take away curry. Cannot find any fault. It was ready to collect when they said it would be. Very reasonably priced, including a 15% discount for collection . No complaints whatsoever 👌

Love the food from amma! We are a vegan family, and don’t struggle at all to eat here. All dishes can be made vegan. They use probiotics and healthier alternatives to white refined flour. The prices are amazing! We usually spend £30 for a family of 4 and have left overs for the next day! This has become my favourite place to get a takeaway! ***** from us!

Great service from the waiter and worth the money. The waiter explained clearly which dishes I cannot have and what can be adjusted to suit my allergy.
