Lovely food, excellent service, ready on time. Have been coming here for years and it's always been good and very reasonably priced too! Why go anywhere else?

Probably the worst Chinese takeaway we’ve ever eaten. Awful chips, salt and chill prawns, rice and curry Not sure how they’re still running Need a revamp

Had a chicken and pork curry and was nearly sick. Each piece of pork was gristle and had to spit it out. Has put me off Chinese food as so disgusting

Tried this place following a recommendation- so glad we did - the food delivered has been exceptional- tasty plenty of it abs more importantly arrives when they say it will. Excellent value for money and big portions and a did isl thank you to the lovely lady who delivers it always with a smile

Ordered a takeaway and told 75 mins. Called at 1.45h and told on way, again at 2h and then was told 10 min and then again called the third time and was told it hadn’t left. Was then told we could have £2 off the bill and would be 20 mins and then they said the food still hadn’t started to be cooked so would be longer. 2.5h later and no takeaway and appalling service which has ruined a Friday night - they took no responsibility at kept robbing us off. Will never use again.

Glad to see this place open again for collection and delivery. I've missed it. The food is excellent for a Chinese takeaway and the service is friendly and efficient - in both English and Cantonese. I love Chinese takeaway food - it's a completely different genre to the Chinese food that you would find in Chinatown cafes and restaurants (or Royal China and A Wong). For Chinese takeaway food this is up there with the best, and very very good value.

Used to be a regular. I’ll be finding a new Chinese for take aways. Someone needs to be reminded there’s a global pandemic going on!

We ordered from here and came home with a burnt quarter duck and other really inedible food. Had to wait an extra 20minutes for food too once we had arrived for collection. Will not be going here again.

This was our first time using the takeaway, and were quite looking forward to it.The prawn curry had no taste to it and was just a congealed mass. The chow mein dish was the thin noodles with no taste, chicken kung po was also tasteless.Overall it turned out to be a bit of an expensive mistake.We did try to order by phone, but as the phone was engaged for a good 10 minutes, we went to the shop to find it empty.What was all this about when they say CASH ONLY, when everyone else is avoiding the handling of cash.Would I try this place again? Well the answer would have to be NO

arrived order and then told CASH ONLY do hope they are paying taxes and contributing to the taxes that support NHS ectI don't want the person handling my food to handle cash, just seems very odd at this time with a virus and pandemic to not accept contactless....

It’s really difficult to know where to start a review of this quite appalling so called Chinese takeaway!Look,I don’t expect it to be up to the standard of the wonderful A Wong ( who has a Michelin star) in Wilton St in London, but this was absolutely disgusting.Apart from the salt and chilli prawns, which were soggy, due to a heavy handed use of the microwave, everyone of my other five dishes swam in a tasteless, watery mess.The beef with ginger ( out of a catering tin ) spring onion ( probably the same) was so tough, that it was inedible! The spare ribs were cremated and the prawns in “ satay sauce” had the consistency and taste of mashed potato!But that wasn’t the real problem - the cook ( no chef here ) had so heavily infused the food with Monosodium Glutamate that my wife , who doesn’t have any allergies, actually fainted at the end of the meal and had her head down the loo for over an hour!I felt extremely nauseous too and the MG kept repeating on me for the rest of the evening.This is really quite unacceptable.Needless to say, I shall never ever revisit.

Just had our takeaway and three quarters of it had to go in the bin, we had the Hawaian chicken which had the smallest amount of sauce with 4 small pieces of pineapple, the chicken was so tough we couldn't cut it, the lettuce for the yuk sung was all broken so had to eat with a knife and fork and worst dish of all the Singapore chow mein it was actually burned and smelt like a house fire so totally inedible, my house absolutely stinks now as if we have had a fire, the only thing that was nice was the prawn crackers, cost us a lot of money and will never use again I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Just had a take away from here, it was horrible! Over cooked, way too much salt and the szechuan prawns were just disgusting. Don’t waste your money here.

This is the only place we have used recently for takeaway night. Ribs, prawns, sesame prawn toast are all excellent. Personally, the curry here is the best I’ve had in years. Beef is really tender.The owner recommended trying the Singapore chow mein. We did, and he was right, what a great dish

Lady at counter was very nice and very helpful! Food was good as well there is a good amount of places to park outside 2 carparks near by and you are also able to park right on the street

Quick, straightforward, appropriately priced. Just the job for a weekday take-away. Phoned ahead, ready when stated. No messing!

My wife ordered a takeaway for my daughter and herself from Dorridge Cantonese this evening at 7.30pm for collection at 8pm and I ordered a separate Indian takeaway from Zinga’s next door at 7.20pm for collection at 7.50pm. Zinga’s collection was ready on time so I entered Dorridge Cantonese at around 7.55pm...The lady on the counter was all over the place and told us to sit down as our meal would be ready shortly. At this time, there was only 1 customer waiting. Within 5 minutes, 4 or 5 customers arrived for collection and 1 ordered over the counter. He was told his order would be 10 minutes. Customers came and went with their orders, including the customer who was in there when we arrived. Then, a customer came in at around 8.05pm and made quite a big order over the counter. Around 8.15pm, we were the only 2 customers in the waiting area and I asked how long our order was going to be, reminding the lady that we’d ordered at 7.30pm and had been waiting 20 minutes and that I had an Indian takeaway in my hand that was getting cold. She said it would be ready soon. 5 minutes later, the large order that had been made at 8.05pm was served. When they left, I advised the lady that I wasn’t happy that other people were being served long after we had made an order. She was flapping and said it’s coming soon. I could hear quite a commotion from the kitchen. At 8.25pm, our order was brought out (2 dishes, 1 rice and noodles). The lady asked for payment (£15.60) and I asked if I would receive a reduction for the wait and because my Indian meal would now be cold. The lady offered me prawn crackers. When I said that wasn’t good enough, she offered me 2 bags of prawn crackers! I refused again saying I should receive a reduction from the bill. She then took our meal back to the kitchen, I heard more commotion and chaos and she then offered me £2 discount! At this stage, I’d had enough so paid and told her it’s the last £13.60 I’ll ever spend at Dorridge Cantonese.

We have takeaway meals one a week and they are exultant but needs a bigger place and restaurant. Alastair Lapham

Called in on a Wednesday evening for a take away. Very helpful and polite lady served us and order was produced in good time. We both enjoyed our ample portions and would happily recommend this take away.

Pedimos comida desde casa, tardaron muchísimo y cuando llego y vimos la comida que nos sirvieron nos sorprendimos muchísimo, mucho cuidado con esta comida puede dañar tu salud. Pedimos varios platos que eran todo basura pero lo que mas nos sorprendió es que nos pusieron unos noodles que estaban cocinado puede que por tercera vez, a saber quien los comió antes. Por supuesto no nos los comimos. No recomendable para nada.

Lovely food, lovely people, would always recommend this place. Service was very good and is situated in a good location with easy parking.

caminando con la familia y algo de cena. pasó por la local, y se presentó a las Ray bandejas! combinación de patatas y arroz cubiertos en una salsa ... tuve dulce y amargo. Por £3,20 fue una buena oferta y los niños disfrutaron de ella. Los crackers gratuitos de gambas y servicio con una sonrisa, no se puede superar eso!

Whilst having a weekend break we popped in to this take away and the service was excellent, staff very helpful and recommended the ribs so we thought why not. They did not disappoint, meat fell off the bones and there was so much meat, the chicken and sweet corn soup was lovely and thick with loads of chicken and the quantity of crispy wonton's was easily 12+, in fact we were so full we had the chow mien to following night, excellent service, excellent quality food and generous portions.
