I had salt, chilli pepper king prawn and roasted duck with cashew nuts. It was very reasonable price and super delicious

We ordered food from this takeaway it was not fit to eat and was cooked in pure grease and oil, the prices varied and they were misleading. The service was sub standard and I question the cleanliness of the shop. Happy to take our money and did not understand their own pricing model. I would not advise any one to order from these robbers. The ribs were burnt to a crisp I have seen meat on a sparrows leg. If you like to ring out the grease first this is a perfect take away for you !!! Never ever seen Yuk Sung with tiny pieces of chicken and what looked like frozen veg thrown in for good measure (carrots, sweetcorn, broccoli that looked and tasted like rubber soggy and terrible. Give this place a big swerve !!!

This takeaway used to be my regular, but after my experience tonight, I won't be using them again. Rude service, overpriced products and a stupidly long wait for just a portion of (hard) chips. I'm very disappointed, used to love this place.

Used this establishment for 12 months always tasty. Really bland tasteless food and ribs tonight. Called to question quality and was told to add my own ingredients to enhance flavour. They admitted having a new chef. What a loss

I found out Chinese restaurant take away ❤️ Food authentical. What can I say The best Chinese food in UK so far I tried. I almost gave up on Chinese food till I found Boulevard. And my kids love too even they very fussy eater normally. They tried so many Chinese places with food but they.. me and my husband we have this now. I've been going to this little shop quite a bit over the last year and I've always been happy with the food. I can only assume the other reviews are from different ownership or just unfortunate experiences. I tend to have fried rice dishes these days but have had noodles in the past also. I particularly like the mini vegetable spring rolls.

PLEASE CHECK FOOD CAREFULLY! Absolutely disgusting and sickening! I am vegetarian and ordered 2 portions of salt and pepper chips, I waited over 40 minutes for them to be made and when I started eating i felt very sick I looked closely at them and there was traces of meat in there!!! Not sure what meat it was but I have had salt and pepper chips from other places and certainly never seen pieces of meat in there! I phoned them back and told them and said well you obviously have cooked it in the same dish as meat and didnt even wash it after cooking as it's been mixed in with other food. The lady said she doesnt know what goes on in the kitchen. I said I am coming to show you the chips and get a refund. She said i can make you another portion I told her no thanks refund please I am put off. So when I went back to the shop she wouldn't listen to me when I tried to show her and just kept saying sorry but the apology was not truthful, I had decided to record the conversation before going In on a random note and she was just ever so rude and her apology meant nothing. So I would advise please check your food properly as you dont know how they cook it!!!! Look at the chips that is very well blatantly meat in there!!!

My favourite Chinese by far. I won’t go to any other. Food is lovely, reasonable price and delivery is always quick.

Worst customer service here. The woman is rude, barely answers the phone when she does she's always taking orders in the shop. Very uncooperative and rude.

Having looked at the food rating we thought we would give it a go as 4 stars is ok. Was extremely looking forward to the food but when it came disappointment is an understatement. Crispy chicken wasn’t even crispy, Salt and pepper chips were luke warm and soggy. Beef in black bean sauce? I don’t think so , more like chewy beef in gravy. So would I recommend this place? Short answer ........ hell no. I won’t ever been using this place again and i will be letting people know how bad it is.

Order was late and wrong, ordered via Foodhub. I was told to call restaurant and couldn't get through, no call back, nothing, will never order from here again. AVOID at all costs

Boulevard Chinese is a pleasant surprise. When I lived in Shirley I found great comfort (maybe a little too often) in the sweet and sour fried chicken balls, the shredded crispy beef, and especially the roasted duck. Like most takeaways, the selection isn't groundbreaking. The difference is that at Boulevard, they consistently cook their food well, fast, and serve it hot.

Best Chinese I have had, hands down. I always scrawl through reviews of places before ordering from them, and after eating at boulevard I felt I should leave a review for those like me to say, this is a properly good Chinese. The dishes tasted completely fresh, and the quality of the ingredients was paramount. The beef chow mein and egg fried rice were particularly good. I don't normally leave reviews, but I feel boulevard has truly deserved my praise and has set itself apart from so many other Chinese takeaways that tasted the same and left me feeling a bit disappointed. This will be my go-to Chinese from now on.

Normally the food is great, but not so much this time. I ordered a chicken dish and got prawns and the chow mein was cold.

This is a sad review. We've ordered twice from here.. The first time was absolutely wonderful. Large portions, the ribs were something else, we honestly couldn't fault it. But last night, the ribs were gristly and what little meat was hard, the chicken skewers... I don't even know if they were chicken. They were hard and crunchy on the outside and soft and almost slimy on the inside. My container of rice had a gap in one corner where there was no rice which was so odd like someone had taken a spoon full out, the rice was over salty, and my girlfriend found a hair in her dish. It's like they have different chefs. The portions seemed much smaller than before. So two stars due to the the inconsistency, and that's generous given the hair, the poor good and the missing rice.

Have been looking for a Chinese takeaway open during lockdown and finally found this one! Lovely food, great website and ability to pre order, on time delivery!

This place is obviously doing a great trade during the Coronavirus lockdown as it’s one of the few still operating in this area. I drove to the shop earlier to make sure they were open and delivering. It’s very easy to place an online order. Placed order at 18:30 with a delivery timescale of 2 hours, which was acceptable. Three hours later it hadn’t arrived. Tried calling throughout these 3 hours but they keep the phone off the hook. The app counts down progress to zero hours and then that’s it. There’s no way of contacting the place to find out what’s going on or, more importantly, to ask for a refund. This review is exactly 4 hours since I placed and paid for the order and it’s still not turned up and I’m the best part of 30 quid out of pocket. If you look at the reviews on their site you will see that every time there’s a complaint they just apologise and blame it on how busy they are. Sorry, that doesn’t wash. It seems to me that they’ll take any order they can, bank your money and take their chances on whether they can fulfil your order. Let’s see if I get my money back. The best advice I can offer is AVOID the Boulevard Cantonese and AVOID their delivery partner Foodhub. This is by far the worse takeaway I’ve ever encountered and the worst review I’ve given any restaurant or takeaway.

The mixed curry I had was terrible. No flavour to it. It was that bad I threw it in the bin. My kids said the food was horrible. For them to say this it must of been bad as we eat pretty much anything.

Chips were nice & curry sauce. Banana fritters soggy & needed more cooking.

This is my local takeout and I love it. It's not greasy. The portions are generous and really filling. My favourite dish is duck and pancakes and chicken curry. Always quick to prepare and deliver.

Never have I ever experienced such disgusting food in my life. The chips that came with the meal were foul smelling and tasting. I’ve worked in the food industry for a while and this is just next level. It’s been reported to the food standards agency and they’ve furthered it on to Solihull council. I’ve kept the chips for solihull council to review. The owner even came round to my house to give a refund, but wouldn’t give it me, unless I handed over the chips, that she had smelt herself. Eat here at your wish, but I won’t be returning and it’s put me off Chinese food for a while. Hope the food standard agency do something about it.

Yuk sung was tasty as was the chicken chow mein. Really like the idea of being able to buy a small portion of chicken balls and curry sauce and for less than £3 is a real bargain. My only complaint would be that they use plastic containers instead of the foil containers. Chinese tastes better in foil.

We grabbed some takeaways for dinner and it was good. Food was generally of a good standard, friendly service and super cheap at £15.30 for 3 large dishes. Beef satay out pick of the bunch, very tasty and fresh

Meal well cooked and ready soon after we ordered. Sweet and Sour pork very tasty as was the beef in black bean sauce. Prawn Crackers were nice and crisp and the Special Fried rice very good with generous portions of prawns and meat.

Since this has been taken over with the new owners the food is disgusting! The chicken is vile processed rubbish that I wouldn't serve to my dogs. The curry sauce is watery and tasteless! We were completely disappointed when we went there when it reopened. We will not go back again. It annoys me that people take over food outlets and take our money in exchange for the cheapest processed tasteless food and expect to survive. This is a waste of what used to be a good takeaway. I hope the owners read these reviews and either shape up or sell it on to someone who cares about the food they are serving to people!

Just had a meal from this Takeaway..Not Happy! Its under new ownership and we thought we'd give it a try! As previously it was one of the best in the area! Massively disappointed! We ordered 2 chicken and sweetcorn soup, which was ok..bit gloopy..the prawn crackers were NOT fresh..but soft and unappertizing..we also ordered the starter for 2! Not good value for money..It consited of 2 sweaty, soggy spring rolls..totally flat in shape and contained some sort of crab stick? They are meant to be crispy and flavoursome.. and 4 dried up spare ribs with very little meat on them..my daughter had sweet and sour chicken which she enjoyed..All in all..I'm afraid we won't be ordering again..very disappointing : (

I have been going regularly to this Chinese during the last 12 months. The food and service are always exemplary. I drive some distance passed other establishments that can't achieve top marks for hygiene from environmental health.

worst iv had yet,hardly any meat and the meat that was there tasted boiled and tasteless.i may as well of asked for rice and noodles with a bit of slime which tasted fowl i cant belive iv payed for that rubbish they should be ashamed im quite annoyed to say the least
