Doorsteps in Belfast

My son and I are traveling and we have come here 3 days in a row that’s how good it is. Great food, wonderful staff can’t say enough good things about the place. Also super vegetarian friendly. 5 stars +++

I didn’t actually visit this place at this time but I got an order carried out from it. It really was extremely fabulous as always cooked to perfection and really very fresh. Indeed I had a sweet chilli chicken Panini with cheese and pineapple which was absolutely delicious. Everything is made so very freshly and it is always so very nice and really very tasty and the staff are always excellent, could not do more anything more for you. I am always very happy to visit doorsteps because they fit is always so spectacular and really fantastic indeed and I will definitely be back. Ryan McCartney.

Myself and a friend got an afternoon tea box delivery to our house and we were extremely impressed and excellent service with absolute ample food to eat. Made fresh was so delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves dining on the beautiful delights from doorsteps. Sandwiches, so very fresh filled to capacity, and absolutely delightful as always. Scones absolutely huge really wonderful and tray mix were also as fabulous as always. I bought this for a friend for her birthday and as we both have disabilities, I thought it was easier for us both to have it at home, which was not a problem to the restaurant Was delivered with extreme care and was absolutely wonderful. A very enjoyable lunch/afternoon tea/meal was hard because there was so much of it for sure. We both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves are not as for sure. Ryan, McCartney.

Doorsteps has let it self down again I give it another try as the last one was not value for money and charged £8.95 for a sandwich which is ridiculous, got another just to see if it was just a one off they are smaller no longer doorsteps and have the cheek to ask for £8.95 I not be back better places which don’t mind paying £8.95 for lunch but like value for money and the old skool staff have left and think the new staff don’t know what doorsteps used to be like and the owner has a cheek to ask for 8.95 😳 not be back not worth the money and letting themselves go down hill very disappointing.

Orders large fry got small fry got tea and butter for toast but no toast! Got one bacon, two potato bread, half tomato although I asked for no tomato, mushrooms, hash brown, no pancake, no soda bread and one egg.

Extremely fantastic sandwiches made while you ate so very fresh and delicious. Extremely wonderful Panis which are absolutely delicious which come with portion of chips and coleslaw extremely fabulous and very very enjoyable indeed. Staff are always excellent and very helpful indeed couldn’t do enough for you and always so very kind and friendly. They never turn you away or never Have a bad thing to say fantastic and very enjoyable and comfortable place for a beautiful lunch. I will definitely be back. Ryan, McCartney.

I would attend doorsteps frequently and I am never disappointed really delicious food, fantastic sandwiches excellent Panini‘s and everything is very well set up. The staff are always excellent and very helpful. Couldn’t do anything more for you really bend over backwards for you to help you. This place is seriously good: fresh,huge portions and extremely good value. Will definitely call in next time I'm in Belfast. So nice to see a place flourishing 25yrs on 😁👍

I regularly attend this café for my lunch. I have never yet been disappointed with the food that I get in this café because they are so very good and so very fresh. The food is always extremely fresh and the staff are fantastic also. Everything is made as you wait and it is always very fresh and well presented to you. I have visited Doorsteps twice this week as the breakfast is so tasty, very reasonably priced and the staff are brilliant, so friendly and attentive. My father is on his second visit of the week also as I so highly recommended their breakfast. I will definitely take a pic next time, food looked too good so I tucked straight in.

This time I actually got a delivery order from Doorsteps. There was no difference in the quality of the food and I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch so much. The sandwich, even though it was a delivery, my sandwich was extremely fresh and fabulous. Such a delicious lunch which was thoroughly delicious for sure. Ryan McCartney

This place has plummeted downhill fast! The use of cheap ingredients has replaced the quality ones that made this place great. We ordered toasties, tea and coffee for a quick lunch, the ham used tasted like out of a packet from a convenience store, the tosties themselves were very like what you would make under the grill at home, lacking in any substance with only a small garnish at the side. Staff were reasonable, a little slow, the premises were uncomfortable with hard seats, alas we had no desire to extend our visit.

Ok, my review to be honest is based on a number of things but it has to be said what impressed me was the service 🤷🏻‍♂️ On arrival it was busy but not hectic and we where dealt with in a timely manner. Awkward with a 4yr old who spotted the ice cream and decided that was his lunch and could not be shifted 🙈 The staff got him to have chips and sauce with an ice cream if he eat them , what a ploy by the staff, worked like a school teacher and their pupils… The lunch was quick, plentiful, clean and tasty. I really couldn’t see any problems and being human I think we sometimes have to make negative comments just because we can 🤷🏻‍♂️ And yes he did get his ice cream, and for me the staff refused to take anything for it as they promised him.. now that is service and style

If I could give it no stars I would. I got a club sandwich, waited 25 minutes on it when it came out the bread was all soggy uneatable the chicken and bacon tasted like they were cooked days ago, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
