I went to Donburi & Co for lunch as I was in Liverpool street. I always enjoy donburi and it did not disappoint. I had a bun and a donburi, the food was fresh, the place was cozy and the atmosphere friendly. The food tasted great and attention to detail from the owners. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This place seemed very quiet despite the restaurants around it being busy but I decided to try it, and I was not disappointed. The food was lovely. I had gyoza and a bibimbap. Both delicious.

Lovely chicken katsu curry, beef donburi. Pork and beef steam buns and veggie gyoszas. On time delivery too. Really enjoyable and worth every penny.

Went here as two couples for lunch - so good! Great lunch specials- so reasonably priced for the quantity. And what delicious Bao buns. Would recommend!

We were on our way to a gig at the Academy and stopped for a donburi, gyoza and drinks. Really pleasantly surprised at the quality, taste and how filling the meals were. We sat at the high bench so felt like more than a fast food experience. Amazing curry sauce with the chicken katsu and perfectly seasoned spicy pork. Super friendly chef on duty and he threw in a couple of ‘chocolate pies’ as pudding, like wagon wheels but yummier somehow! Keen to find the other branch now...

The order was wrong and the food that did arrive was flavourless. This is not a place to go to enjoy bimpap, I would suggest on the bap

Overpriced and disgusting food. Yuck! Pork belly was some thinly sliced vaguely bacon like looking and very artificial looking meat. Yuck! It was cooked until it was brown. Ewwwww.

We have eaten at Donburi a number of times, but recently it has gone from a vibrant Korean restaurant with great service and fun atmosphere, to a Deliveroo-focused take out. Food is served on single-use paper plates, plastic cups for drinks, including alcohol, no prices provided for drinks, and bills are done on a calculator (so no itemised bill). The website is also incomplete. You have to order at the bar, and snatch a gap for attention between prep for take-outs, and I think you are meant to clear up, ie. throw your dishes away, once you're done (a bit like Five Guys). The food is good, but there's no longer much atmosphere nor vitality. Good for Deliveroo perhaps, but give eating-in a miss.

I'm sad to see the changes at Donburi. I used to regularly visit the restaurant and often take friends there. It now seems to be more of a take-away place. Sadly this means the food quality has suffered. The shift to serving things in plastic containers rather than reusuable materials seems a move in the wrong direction in terms of taste and environmental impact. Some of the staff are so welcoming but sadly I don't think I'll be racing back.

Changed beyond belief. Do not expect the Donburi of before. We defy anyone not to wonder why the change (and not for the better). This was a regular for 2 families. The food and the service were exceptional, but not anymore. Such a pity. We’ve attached a picture of the much reduced and changed menu. Not only, it appears that the microwave (or something similar) is the main item used to cook with. Why we didn’t walk out I don’t know, but if this “new” Donburi continues as it is in Earlsfield we shall not be going back. A real shame as they really stood head and shoulders above many other similarly inspired restaurants.

Ok this place is not going to set the world alight but the basic Korean/Japanese street food is quite tasty. I specially enjoyed the bums with chicken and pork. Very decent fast food

Used to go to Cah Chi as the food was quite good. But this new one is completely wrong! Bibimbap - a tiny bit of beef Eel rice - a tiny bit of eel & steamed rice, no sauce Waiting staff - hardly speak English (though she's still friendly to be honest) Advice to the owner - please can you close your business and let someone who could run the place with a heart! Will not return and would not suggest anyone to go. Waste of money!

I was treated by a friend to dinner on a quiet evening. The food is OK, not great. Hasn't made me want to come back again. Two waitresses neither Korean. The older one greeted us in a friendly way but the younger one who was new did most of our serving. She offered to mix my dish and put food into my lap and all over the table. But the crowning glory was when I asked for a decaffeinated coffee. She had to go off and ask if they had any. Next thing I got a coffee, I asked if it was decaff. She didn't know. I agreed to drink it but it was sickly sweet. We complained and they said that was how the coffee was served. All a bit shambolic. My friend paid the bill so I don't know about prices but I do know that we asked for two glasses of a certain wine and the waitress advised us to have a whole bottle as that would be cheaper than two glasses! They also add service charge to the bill.
