Domino's Pizza - Nottingham - Arnold in Gedling

If you are vegan or vegetarian avoid this restaurant at all costs they are not a plant based inclusive food service despite advertising plant based options in their menu i have had a absolute appalling experience with them considering that i have been a customer of this branch for a year now and always placing the same order throughout the whole time i have ordered from this branch so today i ordered my usual supreme plant based pizza however it came with dairy cheese used so i rejected it and handed it back to the driver he accepted it back and phoned the manager to assist me with escalating my complaint for them using non vegan cheese the manager denied it and said its the same cheese they normally use but the cheese smelt of dairy and vegan cheese does not smell nothing like dairy and this is not the first occasion they have got my order wrong and deliberately since being a customer so they sarcastically agreed to replace the pizza but refused to admit the cheese is the dairy one what i also dont understand and dont appreciate is also they did not have the consideration to inform me at the start that the vegan cheese was out of stock before they proceeded with the order so they had no courtesy to inform me of this at the beginning so i could of cancelled the order the replacement they sent reflected the same outcome they still used dairy cheese in the replacement despite my complaint so had to phone them myself to express they have given me the same outcome with the replacement they were still denying it telling me its the same cheese they normally use they were also refusing to admit the vegan cheese was out of stock i made It clear that i am a strict vegan and since they still failed to resolve the problem and instead just kept denying the cheese being dairy i asked for them to refund me back my money as they still failed to deliver what i asked for from the beginning which is clear sign of discrimination they also refused to refund my money back they did not give a valid reason apart from saying refunds are against their policy but this is not standard practice for businesses if customers receive the wrong item or defective product they are legally eligible for a refund and businesses are legally obliged to refund the customer the fact that this restaurant failed to provide the item i asked for without informing me the item i wanted was out of stock and without giving me the option to cancel the order is also proof that this business is ran by a fraudulent party if this is not clear proof they discriminate against vegans i do not know what is after them refusing to refund me back my money they abruptly hung up on me so i have escalated a dispute against them with paypal to get my money back through this route instead vegans deserve the same mutual respect as equal to non vegans please avoid this branch at all costs if you are vegan as they no longer use vegan cheese they just wont inform you this they scammed me and refused to accept responsibility they hung up on me after refusing to refund me dominos is no longer a genuine food service save your money time and efforts and yourself the energy there are way better pizza restaurants out there that are decent and actually vegan friendly.

Would have given more stars for service, except the delivery person decided it better to ring me than to simply knock or use the door bell. Rather rude to say can I come out and get my food. Sorry, but spoilt it. Normally if they can't find the address we get a phone call. Not standing at the end of the drive.....

The most vile tasting pizza on the planet, went straight in the bin. Cheese was about 10 million years old 🤮 meat was rotten. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE !! ⚠ 🤮

A game changing customer service experience. We ordered our usual two pizzas. One to share and one for our twenty something son.... Aka the Apfel of our eye's (👁‍🗨 x 2)... We arrived to find only one pizza ready. The other was cooking in the oven still or possibly just... We did receive a sorry and a few boxed cookies which we shared. But all in all a lukewarm pizza wasn't very good. Otherwise always been reasonably good. Thanks team.

Ordered a delivery and never arrived even tho they took my money from bank account and at the end of this I rang them up and they said they didn't receive a delivery from me so for me they've lost and not to even apologise for their mistake as well. What a joke of a company

Never fails always great food quick service

so first of all I love domino’s and for how expensive it is I didn’t expect the service I received 🤮 the delivery driver came and forgot one of my items which was a bad sign. The wedges were half cooked and tasted weird. And the pizza was stone Cold 🤮🤮 will not be ordering from here again.

Always quick, always accurate processing the order. Always arrives piping hot. Nothing to do with the store but I do wish they'd not inflate the prices and force you to mess about with vouchers/discounts/meal deals etc it's a pain and unnecessary.

Staff not very helpful...put me off going again 😕 curt and ignorant...need staff training 😠

Just tried ordering from Domino's in Arnold I live at bestwood To be told they don't deliver to my area so why did I get a leaflet delivered earlier today if you don't deliver to me??? Also before being told this I wanted to order one of your deals 2 medium pizzas and 2 classic sides to then be told I can't have to sides I wouldn't to order because they wasn't in the deal when it says on the leaflet they was part of the classic sides. You really need to sort yourselves out because you are going to lose so many customers this way.

Not sure what’s worse the customer service team or the restaurant themselves. I was charged for an order that failed and it’s taken over 2 weeks to get a refund. Multiple calls to the store and CS. Still hasn’t been resolved

As much as I love Dominoes the prices they charge for a bit of bread and cheese is extortionate. We tried Cucina down the road instead l and it was much better value for money. Pizzas were tasty, didn't make me feel dehydrated and no stomach cramps!

Phoned up to place an order before that I checked on line. Wanted to charge me 30 for a large pizza and delivery but if I collect it myself it was 11. Such a big difference so I collected. They informed me to use the app for discounts other than that you have to pay full price. They don't accept money has to be card which I think is bizarre. Person in shop was helpful and plesent.

Worst dominoes in Nottingham. I will never order from here again. Delivery is always efficient however the food quality is diabolical. Ordered 3 pizzas and there were about 4 slices between them that actually had cheese on. All the others were just sauce. The pizza was also undercooked and soggy. This is the second time we have had an experience like this and will definitely not be ordering again

The food was fresh and tasted great! However, I found hairs in my food multiple times, this is extremely disappointing as although it tasted good it makes me question the hygiene when the food is prepared.

Called in for a pizza for collection. Friendly staff who made us aware of the offers. Pizza was excellent.

They sell pizza, it is okay pizza but overpriced and you can make your own a lot nicer. But for convenience it's fine.

Stone cold pizza delivered the other day, I messaged them and they didn't bother replying, I now use a domino from 3 miles past this one and food is always hot on delivery, obviously the Arnold manager couldn't care any less about his customers

This dominos is waste of money I don’t recommend this place at all the pizza was not cooked no cheese on the pizza I’m sorry for the money I wasted I will never ever order anything from this place avoid this dominos.

Absolutely awful. Spent half an hour trying to give the driver directions to my house. He had the audacity to tell me I was messing him about ha ha utter and complete idiot. Rang the store and said we'll send out fresh pizza....told them no way. Refund will take two days. AVOID ARNOLD DOMINO'S. I'd give less than one star if I could.

The food is nice not had it in a while. However I am absolutely appalled by the driver who delivered to my neighbours. We didn’t order food and he did not knock at all he just straight away let himself in and opened door. Definitely not ordering from here if the drivers just go opening front doors without even knocking!

absolutely applied at the lack of ownership of the management at the Arnold store. My delivery was later than stated and food was cold when arrived. I called the store to complain and the manager would nit accept that my delivery was cols on arrival.

literally the worse dominos around. Try and avoid. the staff are rude. 40 min stood waiting for a cheese and tomato pizza...in the end gave up. Not even a apology they was all too bust talking amongst themselves

Fanta was placed in the same delivery bag as the pizza, so now reheating cold pizza. Called the store and on hold for 17 minutes at 8pm at night.... service could be alot better

Absolutely terrible service. Have never had this bad a service before from them but this time it took 1.5 hours for the food to arrive and when it finally did it wasn’t hot. Nobody seemed bothered at the store and we got fobbed off. Won’t be ordering again.

Ordered a pizza at 18.15pm I'm still waiting at 19.35pm still not arrived. On the app it says order delivered at 1900 pm what a joke will not be ordering again

Ordered a delivery for a specific time. Turned up exactly on time, delivered to the door by a nice friendly guy. Our pepperoni supreme pizza was delicious. Nice and hot. Freshly made with lots of topping. Couldn't fault it.

How can one branch of Dominoes by so poor compared to other nearby branches. Other branches never scrimp on toppings but Arnold must have a bean counter who checks minimum amount of toppings is placed symmetrical over pizza. Great thing is other branches of Dominoes same distance away so no brainer to use them ... no wonder Arnold Dominoes gets such bad reviews.

Absolutely disgraceful! Will never ever use this branch again in Arnold, they state they do discount for NHS, Emergency Services using ID Card, that’s defo not the case, yet Mapperly Top does, strong advise for all NHS staff etc, use Mapperly Top, they do the discount plus very friendly and professional service indeed! This branch don’t know their arse from the elbow, avoid! Plus look at other reviews about them don’t look good as well! Time for a big shake up in management there! How on earth can u advertise discount for NHS Emergency services on their blog yet deny it, go 3 mile up the road to Mapperly and they do it, how is 2 branches of the same company different! Very disappointing, I will be telling everyone I know in Arnold to avoid this branch

The cheese wasn't that nice golden colour. Dough a little undercooked for my likings. Unfortunately it gave me belly ache for almost a week.

I was very disappointed with a level of communication whilst ATTEMPTING to make an order. I work for NHS and I've ordered before with a 50% discount for NHS workers that was so proudly posted on Dominos blog. However, two different employees from this particular place were unable to tell me if the discount applies. When asked who can guide me on this as I'm fairly confident the discount applies, they had no idea who can give me an answer. I called the Mapperley place and they knew straight away how to proceed. I will not be using this place ever again as clearly there is a lack of sufficient training for the employees.

After being told by the Arnold store that Mapperley is our local store we discovered that wasn't the case at all, which makes sense as it is 5 miles away. We played telephone ping pong between the two stores until we were finally told the truth, which is they can't deliver because we are out of their delivery catchment; we are 3.2 miles from the store, less than a 10 minute drive. They make no exceptions, useless staff, even if a franchise opened in Calverton, I probably wouldn't bother.

Would just like to say called up for a pizza just now normally they are 10 pounds each as been lots of times And I always collect it now 18.99 for one I get no collection but wow we you would normally get 2 for that price dominoes shame on you

wow called up asked if were still doing personal pizza chap on the phone couldnt understand that request then some one else came on the phone and just said "what do you want?" not be using that branch again sorry to of bothered you. RUDE

Fantastic service, after another takeaway failed to deliver after 3 hours of waiting for food I contacted the lovely team at dominoes who gave a 1 hour estimate this was delivered within 35 mins and arrived before the other takeaway which we were able to refuse delivery on. Excellent service domino’s keeping everything going even through very challenging times, stay safe and keep the red hot pizza’s rolling! ❤️

Order twice from there in a 2 months and both times got food poisoning much prefer mapperlys dominos

Cold food and horrible rude staff

The location is great for Arnold residents, however the wait time and service aren't nearly as good as other options in the area. Domino's is a very over priced store, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. In my case, I was a bit lost on the deals and the person that placed my order didn't help me to decide what deal was the best for my family. I ended up with two ludicrously small pizzas, waited for 15 minutes and paid £14.99. At least the pizzas were tasty. If you really need to go to Domino's, please think twice and read the deals carefully.

Ordered two medium pizzas one margherita and one hawaiian pizza. The margherita was fine but the hawaiian was absolutely diabolical. The mushrooms looked like they had been chopped and put on after the pizza had come out of the oven. Basically they was raw. The cheese was like it was still in the fridge and had hardly melted. I rang the arnold store back to inform them and the person who answered the phone who also told me on the phone ''i made the pizza, i cut the pizza.'' He told me that i was wrong and he was right. I will not be ordering from there again and certainly do not recommend to anyone else!

Lied to me about price on the phone and when I tried to discuss in person the guy at the counter picked up the phone and cut me off. Never again.

Placed an order and was told it would be 45 minutes one hour later i phoned then and yhey said they have no record of an order being placed we work at the local hospital and a patiant had treated us,but no pizza 😢

Only gave 1 star because 0 star isn't an option. Cold and under cooked. Topping is just that (just thrown on top) not part of pizza. SAVE YOUR MONEY and go PIZZA ROZZA overall AWFUL

I usually order online & it automatically chooses Arnold because it's the closest. On 2 occasions they didn't put the sauce or cheese on the garlic pizza bread, then the 3rd time they just put it on the middle bit. Last night I ordered a vege pizza & didn't even put the sauce on it. Sick of this place!!

Quick delivery & really quality pizza always order from here

Normally order online & delivery comes from this Domino's. Very quick delivery & can't fault the pizzas & meal deals. The only problem I did have was when I ordered a garlic pizza bread & when it came it didn't have much tomato sauce & no cheese on so it was very dry. The next time though, it was perfect but I have found that it seems to be a lot smaller to how it used to be. The pepperoni dough balls went down a treat with the meat eaters in our house. Had pizza again last weekend (8th July ) & yet again the garlic pizza bread had almost no sauce & no cheese whatsoever! Whoever is making this isn't doing it right!!

Disappointed with the lack of communication! Ordered a pizza with sides and when it arrived the wrong pizza came. I complained and got given another WRONG pizza! Now waiting for my THIRD pizza to arrive hoping I will be able to eat the correct pizza with my now COLD sides! Complained to domino's but will no longer order as it is not the first time they have got my order wrong!!!

After ordering our pizza at 7pm it came an hour later however it was the wrong order, we then rang back and they said they will bring OUR order back to us. After saying this, it was 9:30 when we rang back and they said it would be another 15 minutes. After 30 minutes we rang back and they were blocking our call. It was 10;15pm when we received the correct pizza which weren't even warm. Poor customer service and ridiculous waiting times. Appalled
