Domino's Pizza - Kendal - New Road in South Lakeland

Ordered 2 large pizzas. Arrived really quickly and piping hot. Really tasty with tge added extra garlic. Great 👍

Out of all the Dominos I've been to, this one has by far the highest quality food. Really tasty and fresh, and never overcooked. The shop itself is very clean and tidy too. However, I have had issues with the service a few times - mainly forgetting things off the order and once my order got mixed up completely with someone else's. Also unless there's a discount on, the food is very overpriced unfortunately, though there are frequent discounts which is good. Still definitely the best Domino's branch I've been to, would recommend if there's a discount on

Ordered a takeaway with my husband , got the order fairly quickly which was great , food was hot and pizzas were delicious and full of toppings , had the nachos which bare in mind not the easiest food to send as takeaway but they arrived warm ,crunchy and cheese still melted , the delivery driver was friendly as well . Best takeaway we have had in a while . Thank you to domino's team that worked hard tonight on our order . Keep it up

Ordered a medium pizza deal to be delivered for my daughter, it was delivered in a reasonable time from ordering but when it arrived looked like it had been in a car crash the state of the pizza was terrible the fries looked like they had been cooked 5 times and the desert she ordered had no chocolate on a chocolate pizza!!

It was a fantastic experience, the staff really care and make you fee like a rockstar 😉, ask if Mario is on duty for free extras, by the way three cars can pull onto the pavement, it's not legal or safe but hey ho it's Kendal init, my emotional support lama likes the peperoni

We had a child’s party at the local climbing centre. We ordered pizza and had it delivered. We ordered this through the app. We flawless service the delivery driver was excellent. I will definitely use this service again.

Abysmal. Here's a summary of what we experienced, this happened Thursday just gone: - We're from outside the area but staying just outside of Kendal; a seven minute drive from where the Dominoes is - Ordered food around half 6 through Uber eats, which said the order had been received and confirmed, bare in mind this is a Thursday night: likely not a busy evening - Waited over an hour and a half without any word from the place, we called to get an update and were told they had just seen the order and would get it sorted and sent to us straight away - Another hour passes: we call up again to find it's only just been sent out for delivery, - The driver calls and informs us he's at a completely different postcode, despite the fact we had sent them all the correct information about where we are, inlcuding What3words for accuracy, yet he blames us - After explaining to him the correct postcode - which took a good five minutes over the phone - he informed us he would be on his way. We searched for the postcode he went to and figured out it's a seven minute drive away from where we were located. Both the driver and the manager of the branch refused to give us estimated times of arrival - To try and make things easier for him: we stood by the roadside in the dark with torches, so he can get a good idea of where to pull into. At least 15 minutes later he pulls up on the opposite side of the road, at least a hundred yards away, and calls to say he's arrived and wants us to come collect - I explain to him there's no way we're risking our safety in the dark next to a busy road, and that he needs to turn the car around and come to us, he tells me he's parked up and waiting for us. This process repeats about five times and I inform him my partner is becoming increasingly distressed with the situation before he finally turns the car around and brings it to where we are stood - He again blames my partner for providing the wrong postcode, she shows him the details that we initially gave (which were correct) then he gives us the food we've had to wait over three hours for. Unsurprisingly; it was lukewarm by this point. And to top it off we'd requested to have the pizza without red jalapeños; but that dietary request had been ignored Overall probably the worst experience I've had with a delivery place, even more surprising for the fact this is an established business that shouldn't have issues delivering food to a place seven minutes away, then trying to blame us when they can't do their job right. Terrible service, disgraceful communication, and an embarrassment for the franchise. Needless to say; I would not recommend ordering from this branch.

Didn't notice original staff members when I was in this afternoon. New guy claimed to be a manager yet didn't know what he was doing. Food was alright but the sticker was ruined couldn't tell what was what when I got home.

New owners have ruined the place. Plenty of amazing staff left because of them, new manager is an absolute joke doesn't know what they're doing and when I was in he was face timing his friend!! Don't be surprised if all the previous staff leave and there's no dominos anymore. Over priced stuff anyways.

Visited her for two takeaway pizzas. There is a seated area within where you can dine. We took ours to go. Staff very friendly and helpful when we tried to figure out the deals. Anyway, got our pizzas,one a vegetarian, so lovely,full of toppings,thoroughly enjoyed and recommend

Great place, really nice decoration, Massive sitting place for a dominos. Also you get a lovely view.

I ordered 2 vegan pizzas and one of them arrived with a chunk of chicken on it. Complained to customer service and their approach on cross contamination was very relaxed. Will not be going back. Overpriced and potentially dangerous.

Too many misleading coupons and upgrades. Spent my money with a local company who are clear with their prices and offers. Avoid avoid avoid.

Ordered two pizzas plus sides for delivery, and as an hour and a half before they finished cooking it, then couldn’t deliver inside of 2 hours so had to go collect. Completely unacceptable, terrible service.

Refused to sell me bottled water because I had physical currency, if you like banks shop here.

Pizza is good, my youngest daughter and son love it. However chips were soggy undercooked and had a stale taste. They didn't eat them so they got thrown away. I wouldn't recommend.

I ordered in house and they Got my order wrong waited over an hour for the pizzas which they over charged me £35 for the order because they had doubled up some of the items no apology or compensation for their error would not ever use the takeaway again far better and quicker takeaways in Kendal which are cheaper than dominoes

Nothing to do whit the manager o staff pizza is good and alloys nice people but the franchising manager / the owner need to start accepting cash .

Ordered a pizza online and waited for the text to say it was going in the oven. The text arrived and I set off to drive the 5 miles to collect. When I arrived and stood outside it was obvious that the place was overstaffed. There was much banter from behind the counter although nobody could be bothered to acknowledge that a customer was waiting. When I eventually shouted and made my presence known one gentleman took responsibility and apologised for my wait. My pizza had not gone into the oven and i had to wait for it to be cooked. Not the best experience but the pizza was good.

Not even worth one star. Order on app to go and collect to be told when it showed up ready that it had to be made again. Rude and obstructive staff that hadn’t got a clue what each other were doing and wouldn’t even refund there and then don’t even bother

Went in to order a pizza and the place smelled like blocked up drains so turned round and walked back out. Went to another pizza shop in town.

Why even bother being a takeaway apparently even choosing a time slot is just a guide so May as well order and pop in when you like! Horrendous service, extremely unhelpful staff that shouted things across at me instead of speaking to me directly and no refund offered when I said I should have one. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

The best pizza in Kendal! Always arriving in half an hour hot and piping. Always made from fresh and delicious ingredients!Highly recommended! Bravo for all staff working there, must be difficult to make delicious pizza in minutes and delivered it hot!

Staff are unprofessional, none wearing hair nets or beard nets, and sure enough we found a beard hair in our food.

Good pizza but, under staffed and “can’t deliver” on a Saturday night… bit embarrassing really.

Too pricey .. poor food quality. Don’t order near closing time or you will get unpleasant “surprises”. If you complain to the managers they just laugh at you. Later update: still disgusting food, terrible service. Now I know why they don't accept cash!

What a shambles of a store Accept order told 15 mins turn up to the store to collect oh we are out of what you ordered now. Ask for a refund and refuse as there a franchised own business So have to wait in store another 30 mins just to get pizzas Avoid at all costs unless you want poor customer service and terrible attitude

Staff literally argue about who has to serve on the counter, like kids. Ordered cookies, got given garlic bread. Walked back to shop and got it swapped but with barely an apology and no compensation for my return journey

Decided to order for two people. Made an order and payment online. 30 minutes later and the status was still on prep, then an hour passed by and we still haven’t heard anything. Status was still on prep. Wanted to cancel our order but terms and conditions stated that we couldn’t so had to call the shop and ask where our order was. Person on the phone apologised and said that they were struggling to get the delivery driver and will be another 30 minutes. Another hour went by and we eventually got our food. Appalled by the 2 whole flippin hours of waiting and getting nothing in compensation. Brought this up to the complaints team who said a member of the branch will get in touch within 5 days. Guess what? More than 2 weeks have passed and still haven’t heard anything. Never ordering from this place again. Horrible.

Pizza is good but in many occasions I have waited longer than 30 minutes to get my pizza just to be told that it’s been forgotten about

Staff friendly but last time I went to collect pizzas after told to collect by the app they hadn't started making it.

Took nearly 2 hours to arrive and after calling to cancel I was told they could not do this and then I was hung up on. Drivers are great but horrendous management and a shocking lack of customer service.

Waited an hour for food after we was told 20 mins and the food wasn't great

Staff did the right order and are very helpful.

Would had given them more if it wasn't for the wait and how sparse the topping was on one pizza. Great welcome but the member of staff who took our order was unsure what they were doing. We had to wait over a hour for our two pizzas. The one pizza was covered perfectly with good amount of toppings but the other had only a little of each topping and many pieces were cheese only.

Long waiting time tonight but well worth it

We were away for a weekend away (10 people altogether), had been travelling 3 hours and put in a group order online to collect in person - all 10 pizzas were ready within less than 30 mins and the staff were absolutely lovely! So polite - honestly don’t know why there are negative reviews on here because our service was nothing short of amazing. Thank you!!

Ordered a pizza online, after 30 mins received a text saying it had left for delivery, waited 15 more minutes, called dominos, very poor customer service over the phone saying "well 15 mins isn't that long" if I was to drive from dominos to my house it would take 5 mins.

Food was beautiful, ordered plenty of munch but forgot garlic sauces which were purchased.

This domino's is really hit and miss you either get a fabulous experience with everything spot on or it's just not righ, from the pizzas being so think with sauce the cheese n toppings just side off, same with the nachos. Being told they can't do something but then on the next order it's not a problem. It's unfortunate that there staff that just can't be bother and staff that will do everything they can to help.

Brilliant quiet site. Exceptionally pleasant and helpful wardens😊 visit b4 it shuts for the season. Excellent access for Kendal and excellent low level walks. If you are a reasonable walker leave the car on site 😀

The pizza is really good, but make certain they know what crust etc you want . Have drove home to find the wrong base before . Kind of a long wait considering. . I know approx how long it takes for a pizza oven rotation . Also often lots of staff ( or very few) (probably shift change) . But have been stood just left waiting on several occasions . Great pizza . All round service could be ALOT better

Food was OK. Collected from in store and the restaurant area is closed, but looks very untidy, and the staff were rushing about not really paying much attention to customers trying to order on the small window area.

Order took 40+ mins after ordering and waiting in the restaurant. Had to keep reminding staff we were waiting. Pizza was crushed and toppings all over the place. If we weren’t in a rush we would’ve taken it back. Server was friendly but had no idea about the deals or pizza toppings available. Ended up paying more than best deal available but it’s only a few quid.

Great domino's, well laid out and large in side. It's on a pretty busy road with a yellow line outside which gose off at six but even then be careful parking. It's not far from the town centre though and there is a nice little park across the road to wait in.

We ordered 2 meaty pizza, minus beef as its against my relegion we don't eat beef, still pizza came with beef and when we rang and complained the attitude was oh yes one of them do contain ground beef. I would certainly offer Josh of the Kendal branch a 5* rating for good hygiene practice and friendly customer service. He was preparing my pizzas when the phone rang. After a few rings he decided to take the call as there was no one else to take it. I then watched to see if he would wash his hands before resuming the making of my pizza. He did, unfailingly!! The reason i was impressed was because months ago when i was at another branch, someone with a streaming cold, having blown his nose just resumed preparation. I had to comfort myself that the oven heat would nuke the germs.

This is really great shop. I collected the pizza and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They also seemed really happy which was nice to see. The pizza was hot and fresh and exactly what we ordered.

Never had a problem with Domino's at all

We ordered a delivery last week. It arrived in good time but for the price we paid which was over 50 pound, it left a lot to be desired. It was soggy in the middle. We ordered the mighty meaty which is usually our favourite, but there was hardly any meat on it. Will defo not order again.

Paid nearly £30 for 2 pizzas wedges and a small garlic bread and a couple of cookies nothing special at all pizza went cold extremely quickly garlic bread was nice but small - wedges were extremely dry website was down but nothong said on app so currently waiting to see If I have been charged twice shame really
