Domino's Pizza in Basildon

Don't bother on a Thursday night. "Quality Check" per the app took about 30/40mins for one pizza and some chicken dips. Delivery driver fine, suspect shop couldn't get it together on basic logistics. Pizza arrived congealed, cold (at best lukewarm) and every bit like it had endured at 30min+ "quality check". Yeurrgh repulsive, frankly.

Pizza baked without any cheese or toppings on half of it. Absolute rip off. Only offered an exchange with another hour wait, which arrived with the wrong toppings on it. Avoid at all cost, it is a joke of a company,

always very clean in restaurants and tasty food, my family get it every week and we are obsessed. They are also very good with allergies/ vegan / vegetarian as well.

Didn’t want to cater for allergies. Asked for gluten and dairy free but couldn’t happen apparently even though the pizza is made fresh.

Domino’s is domino’s. So the food is always the same. It’s tasty and that’s why we went there. The reason for only a 3/5 is simply because of the mind boggling lack of customer service. I work in hospitality and am very familiar with “the customer is always right” and how that is not always the case. In this case, I 100% was and the staffs commitment to a nonsense “rule” was baffling. I was ordering 11 pizzas for a large staff meal. All were one particular type bar one (potentially). I asked if I could make one a half and half. They said no and that Dominos doesnt do that. I said I had just been a week prior at a different dominos and they most certainly did. Ok, so they don’t do it at this domino’s… accepted. But I wanted to try to point out that by half and half, what I actually wanted was a pepperoni on one side and then a standard cheese and tomato on the other. I was told no. This was impossible. I tried to point out that I’m not asking for more or even different toppings. I’m asking for less. I was still paying for (and happy to) a full pepperoni, I just didn’t want pepperoni on the whole pizza. They said no. I pointed out that they could just put the exact same amount of pepperoni on one side of the pizza that they would put on the whole pizza usually, or they could only put half on if they wanted. They said no. This is simply mind boggling as to why this would not be possible. Back up was called and I thought that by speaking to someone else, that they next person would see sense and say “of course if you’d like to pay for the toppings but we only put half of it on for you, we can do that.” Or “of course if you want all your toppings on one side so that the other is free of pepperoni, we can do that” but it was yet another no. So despite them being all fully aware of what I wanted and hoping that someone would help me with it, no one did and what I received was a pizza with all the toppings all the way around the edge, and then none at all in middle. Pointless.

I’ve ordered from this place a few times over the past 2.5 years living in Billericay & it is always wrong. Why would you not check the order before letting it leave for delivery? Given them too many chances ❌

Ordered online, food arrived quick but quality very variable. One pizza (see picture) was missing toppings on a large part of the pizza, delivery driver put coleslaw in the pouch with the pizza.... arrived hot and dripping condensation. Nasty.

Dominos in general is good. Food is delicious. But we ALWAYS have a problem with delivery! Can never get through if you try and call. Last time it took 2.5 hours for our pizza to arrive even thought the tracker said after 30 mins it was out for delivery. It was delivered cold too! If you are going to have a dominos from here go and collect it!

Terrible management at this Billericay Dominos. Not the first time I call to make a order for delivery and get told, either No drivers or just one driver. This time just one driver, Told it would be an hour to deliver. My son really wanted a Dominos so was ok to wait an hour. After and hour and 20 minutes I call to see where our delivery is. I get told that it will be another hour, So 2 hours 20 minutes in total. A joke, I then ordered from another Billericay pizza place.They took 20 minutes lol And while out 4 hours after I cancelled Dominos I get a call to say they are at my door with my pizza lol Dumb as.... will avoid.

Food was 45 mins late and cold. £5.99 for 3 full chicken dippers and a few crumbs ( supposed to be 7) potato wedges were undercooked and soggy. Garlic dipping sauce- tasteless and watery ( used to be thick and creamy) Pizza was stodgy and cold. All for the princely sum of £26 and that was with a so called discount voucher. When I called to complain the very bored and unapologetic sounding person told me they were very busy ( then make your estimated times longer FFS!) Perhaps that explains a delay but not the cold food or being given half the portion I paid for! Just crap! Offered either a replacement ( at least an hour wait) it £10 off next time... HA HA- next time? Don’t think so!

Don’t waste your money!! Poor quality food, Pizza dippers were raw, chicken and pizzas stone cold. Had to wait an hour and a half for pizza!! Revolting!

Food is poor quality and ordered food always has at least one error when received. I’d go elsewhere for sure! Chicken strippers looked like a dogs dinner!
