Domino's Pizza in Lancaster - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

This Domino's is the worst. I've ordered many times in London, but I've never had a pizza this bad in my life. I spent nearly £20, and they put on toppings that aren't even worth £1. order chicken feast pizza have only bread not chicken on it. Are they taking the toppings home with them or what? How is this store even still in business with so many bad reviews? I also met the guy who wears glasses who took my order in the store—terrible service.

Door says open till 5, got there at 4 to order, knocked on door, people inside ignored. 3 people walking about inside, if one could be bothered to come to the door and say not serving then fine. But no. Phoned up, guy om phone insisted opening times (incorrect ones) were on the door. Told him opening times on the door in front of me, wouldn't admit they were wrong whilst still clearly taking other orders. Very rude wouldn't recommend

Wouldn't let me order online. Corporate sort this brach out as in the past the staff have been amazing

I will never buy a pizza from here again. The service is absolutely disgusting. I tried to order a delivery first but they don't deliver to my address which is only 1.5 miles away. So I went to the shop and ordered which was hard work because the man serving did not speak English. We were told it would be 15 minutes so we went for a walk and went back 15 minutes later. There was nobody serving on the front counter. We waited 10 minutes and started shouting "hello" to get somebody's attention. They just kept shouting "hello" back and proceeded to leave us a further 5 minutes before we actually saw somebody's face. If we hadn't prepaid we would definitely have just walked off. I tried to complain when they eventually appeared after taking 30 minutes and completing ignoring us for 15 minutes but it was pointless because nobody understood English. We won't be getting a Dominos ever again. Over priced and awful service. There's plenty of other good pizza places to choose from

This domino's is run like a kebab house. The only difference being that they answer the phone with "thanks for choosing domino's" I ordered a pizza and fries. Two items. When only the pizza arrived I questioned the driver who said he would bring them back for me. After half an hour I phoned and a woman told me that he was just leaving with them. I live a 5 minute drive away. After another half an hour I phoned again. The next guy was very pleasant but assumed that throwing some cookies in for free would make up for the now cold pizza i had. When pizza is this expensive it needs to be done right. Two items. Not difficult but mistakes do happen. But don't lie when I phone and say they're out the door when you haven't cooked them yet

Walked in, no one responded to the door buzzer and none behind the counter, so didn't get served. Opened and shut the door again and still no one came out from the back, went down the road to McDonalds.

Having to wait nearly an HOUR for a delivery at 04:30 is ridiculous.

Forgot BASIC ingredients then proceeded to call me a liar among else. Never will be going back there as it is the worst Dominos branch in the country, it has never happened to me before ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD

Been here a couple times. Nachos tend to be completely inedible and really burnt. Staff are rude and always ignoring phone yet just stood around in the back ( you can see them) got to the point where one drunk guy answered 4 telephone calls for them😂 This store just ruins the domino's image. I now always go out of my way to visit the morecambe domino's as they are excellent.

Too much tomato sauce in the pizza, tastes very greasy.

I have been waiting at Dominos to order my food for about 10 minutes only to find out that I had to raise my voice to get someones attention to order my food. My friends and I were asked to wait another 10 minutes for the food to be made, which is perfectly fin until we all get our food, except one of us who waited an extra ten minutes just for someone to come by and tell us that she’ll be receiving her food a bit later because they messed up the order. While waiting we noticed that one of us didn’t get the drink we ordered and when the question was raised they asked us to pay extra for the drink that was already ordered. Once our friend finally got her order (waited about 30 minutes for a medium chicken pizza) our pizzas had already gotten cold and my nachos soggy.

Loaded fries with cheese were horrible, borderline inedible

Decent pizza but crazy expensive if you don't get it through a deal. The prices for standalone items have gone through the roof which means I limit myself to days where there's a 2 for 1 deal. The price is much better if you collect.

My lodger ordered a pizza and Nacho's for delivery from the Lancaster branch last night. We both spent the day going to the loo. It's the only thing we had the same. Not good and obviously won't be ordering again.

Just nasty folk. They missed nachos from my order, and then claimed that I was lying to get more free nachos. Their word against mine, couldn’t get anywhere.

If I could rate with 0 stars, I would - not a Karen and normally give places the benefit of the doubt. I have a medical condition that means I am gluten and lactose intolerant. This means that dominos are normally accommodating - I have travelled most areas of the UK, and ironically its my local dominos that has caused an issue. I normally order a gluten free, lactose free Ham, pineapple, mushroom and bacon pizza. This normally costs me between £9-10 but I know and trust it is safe to eat. This particular branch refuses to serve me and directs me to the app which I have explained multiple times does not accommodate for my dietary requirements. As a result, they have lost a valued customer as they are not willing to make simple adjustments for those living with difficult health conditions. I would specifically inform those with Coeliac disease and Vegans to avoid, as they clearly aren't aware of the requirements or safety measures they should take to ensure customers are able to consume their products without repercussions.

Be warned no dine-in, but foods great!

Ordered a pizza with tomato base, but they gave me a pizza with BBQ instead. It might not be a big deal to some people but I quite literally can't eat the BBQ sauce base without being sick. I also ordered cookies, but they didn't show up. Waste of money; waste of food.

Great tasty pizzas! Bit pricey but the food quality is unmatched. My kids saw the predator which looked fantastic and they was excited to have him/her deliver our pizzas but got let down when the hat had changed on delivery :(

Absolute rip off. Massively overpriced Tiny Pizzas that look like disabled kids have made them. Never again.

Fantastic staff that work extremely hard in a very busy environment on a first come first serve basis, sadly this causes issues with some customers. Staff are forced to tolerate rude and abusive behaviour, this includes but is not limited to physical threats and verbal abuse such as racist comments (see previous comment from Joseph). Very friendly place, very friendly staff and good food.

This place was never great to be honest but today the service went from poor to absolute dogshite almost overnight; nearly the entire staff team has been replaced by poorly-trained immigrants with next to 0 efficiency. Caused a severe asthma attack after almost missing my bus due to waiting 30+ minutes for just 6 doughballs (an extra 20 minutes *after* the order tracker said it was ready for pickup). NEVER going here again!!

It's open 'til 5am, but that's really all it has going for it. Sometimes the pizzas are "adequate for when you're drunk and hungry at 3am after a night out", other times they're not good at all. Expensive for what they are too, even with the deals. Had "why did I spend that much?" moments a few times.

Waiting over an hour on a Thursday evening is just not on. When it says it will be 20-30, the food is stone cold. Not really "fast food" is it.

I had fantastic service - the staff at the till today helped pick out a cheaper option for me, which gave me the same meal, without my even asking. Friendly and helpful, the food was hot, fresh and tasty. Thank you!

Ordered through just eat. The app said the order was delivered when there was no sign of the delivery driver. I've rang them 15 times with each going to voicemail. Disgraceful customer service avoid this place at all costs. Go to Papa Johns better pizza, experience, and actually have competent staff.

This store is usually amazing but tonight, 16/02/2023, it was totally unacceptable. I called them to recommend they retrain the person who was making pizzas tonight

Never again. Soggy and undercooked base,just about warm when delivered and pretty much tasteless. Same goes for my wife's pizza. We won't be ordering from you again 👎👎👎

Update: GPS shown in dominos tracker never left the town centre - but told me it was delivered. When it did deliver after chasing via phone calls, food was cold and the chips with toppings had a very long strand of hair cooked embedded, chicken wings were slightly undercooked. Like other reviews states: “avoid like the plague” 0 stars if I could 5 years ago: great price if you know which deal to select plus reliable delivery

I ordered food it ended up in morcambe I tracked it back to shop in Lancaster I was told they would cook me another they sent it to me stone cold

Dear oh dear ,just tried this establishment again after 3 years..........nothing has changed . Customer service is shocking!! Just a shame you have to give one star !!!! Very very bad customer service !!! Ordered food on the app and they delivered to my old address. When my order eventually arrived the Driver said he would sort out when he got back to the shop. When I called to find out what had happened the manager was so rude to me . Will go to Papa John's next time time,nicer pizza anyway..

The manager on shift was so lovely and helpful. managed to take my order over the phone and used codes for us which was a lot of hassle!!! defo recommend, staff were really kind and patient!!

I don't order Domino's too often but on the occasion I do this branch has been able to stand out as the worst. It's all down to customer service, if there's an issue with your order you HAVE to phone them up and they will likely not answer or place you on hold immediately. If you wish to make an order at the counter that is going to be impossible as well, I have, on multiple occasions attempted to get the attention of the staff so that I can make an order all to zero success, even staff boxing up pizzas right in front of me would flat out ignore me. Shocking customer experience, surprised Domino's let it be that way.

So,we ordered a medium cheesy garlic bread PIZZA and two chicken strippers came and there was 3 small boxes one was the PIZZA it come a personal size! Bearing in mind this come to 19 quid and the pizza was meant to be for 2 people I was not happy then I rang dominoes back and they said we can’t do I refund as but what do you want the refund on I said the full thing and they said well we can’t do that but we can give you a discount for next time you order I said there is no “next time” they gave me customer service number and so I rang them and there was no answer so tried ringing dominoes back and they wouldn’t answer. now me and my friend are left hungry!! Absolutely fuming, not a good experience!

Arrived to collect pizza on time, the shop was basically shut. I knocked on the windows and called the phone but nobody answered. Once I got home I then called again and they answered and ultimately said the pizza was ready for collection which is fine, I appreciate things don't always run smoothly, especially on a Saturday night. I collected my pizza, got it home and its basically raw, I won't be attempting to eat it as I'm not sure if the raw meat is edible or not. But I for one wouldn't recommend.

Ordered at 3.20, at 5 it still hadn't arrived despite a "22 minute" estimated delivery time. Rang the branch 4 times just to go through to voicemail each time. Will be trying to get a refund

The Lancaster branch has gone downhill. Cold orders, items missing and ridiculous delivery times. Used to arrive in 5 mins, now it's more like 40 + mins. Our last order took a very long time to arrive. I had to call Domino's to see where it was, I was told ' it's round the corner - tip the guy because he's skint ' 20 mins later it arrives, got inside, it wasn't hot and items were missing.... avoid !

Would not use this place .. waited an hour for order had to phone branch to be told it's out for delivery for an hour phoned again to be told it was delivered to wrong house requested refund to be told no and will issue coupon wont be using again

Avoid like the plague the manager in the Morecambe branch is the rudest person I have ever spoken to on the phone the way he speaks to customers is outrageous. Hangs up on the phone when you called to say the food was stone cold and you’ve missed off half of my order Stay away such unprofessional and rude person I have ever had contact with !!!

Ordered pizza last night, took 2.5 hours to deliver. Called them at least 10 times but nobody answered. When it arrived, I asked the delivery lady why took so long. But, she don’t speak English. Pizza was cold and wet, not eatable at all.

Unfortunately not a good experience. We ordered a large pizza, expecting to get the offer that applied to all large pizzas to be automatically applied - instead they charged full price for the pizza. When we pointed this out, the team member acted very annoyed at us, sighing and asking if we needed her to change it. They weren't able to change it so we charged for the full amount. They did give us an extra pizza for free, but this wasn't actually wanted so a bit frustrating that they couldn't process the refund and charge the correct amount. I wonder how many of their customers didn't notice the overcharge...

AWFUL for delivery! Never ordering again! Most of them can't speak english, and they mess up deliveries constantly. Also tracking page is not updated as it should be. STAY AWAY!

After writing a complaint that never got solved I stupidly ordered again from here. Once it arrived all the toppings slip off the pizza as if they had been throwing the pizza about for the past hour.

10/10. Piping hot pizza and sides, freshly made and very flavoursome. Went for collection and was ready in 10 minutes. Definitely return here.

Pizza Hut is a horrible place for pizza and i would not recommend this place to anyone, the food had armpit hair and atmosphere was awful, they had the audacity to play Justin Bieber baby. the lady reused to give me my pizza because i apparently ordered and went to the wrong place. 0 out of 10

Very rude staff when trying to explain I have a voucher they dont want to know so why post them through our doors and when I did get my pizza it was cold and not very appetising would not recommend this branch to any lancastrian.

really sad bought here before and OK , ordered on saturday night at 7.30pm for collection arrived to be told it would be at least two hours before our food would be ready, we had travelled from Halton just to pick it up ...very disapointing

We generally make our own pizza at home, but Domino's is one of the few places we would buy pizza if we are too lazy to make our own. We use the app to place our order and more often than not the pizza arrives when the app says it should. The taste is good, the prices are OK, especially when there are promotions on.

Small location means that collection during popular deals can be an issue, otherwise good place with higher prices

Amazing pizza, we all loved the food, however the delivery woman was incredibly rude to us and apparently it is a theme with this establishment.

I ordered a week ago and got text requesting feedback. Gave 5/10 as food almost cold and garlic bread with no garlic. Received phone call to apologise and offered free meal. Great! Sadly free meal arrived late as driver couldn’t find address. Food barely warm due to delay and again garlic free garlic bread. There was a bit of a language barrier with the driver so perhaps a bit of training might help. Real shame. Won’t be ordering again.

It's alright. Sometimes slow delivery, sometimes they mess up the order.

Excellent food, only worth it when you get the deals though. This specific branch usually has pretty fast and friendly service

Ordered 2 pizzas and a side. 2 hours passed and still nothing. Website stated the food had been delivered, so phoned up the establishment only to find out the food had been given to someone else around the area. Do the drivers not ask "what is the name on the order?" Instead of just giving the food out to anyone that says it's theirs? Food arrived in the end (we had to ring up and get another order dispatched).
