Dolphin Square Kitchen in North Somerset

Had a roast dinner today, it was average at best and for £40 for both of us, we didn't feel like it was either quality or quantity. Don't recommend and won't be returning.

Can’t rate this place highly enough, burgers, chicken strips, roasts it’s all amazing food. So lucky to have this place.

I’ve had dolphin square kitchen before and it was stunning - but today it was disappointing. It took a long time to come, the fries were cold. Loaded fries were really soggy where they had been left for a while. When I tried to get fries refunded I was entitled to 96p. Almost too much filling in the burger making it rich and difficult to enjoy/eat :( but just to reiterate I have had nice orders in the past!

Top class food, always piping hot, although delivery always takes longer than specified which doesn't matter when you see the size of the portions and quality of food.

Excellent food and even better customer service! Unfortunately our daughter dropped her food when it arrived, so I placed another order. I messaged the restaurant to explain and ask if there was any way it could be sent out asap, they had it made and sent straight out with a few sweets added in to sweeten the blow! Couldn't recommend Dolphin Square enough!

My foods always amazing from here recently ordered a smash burger and expected patties but that's on me, cow meats pig is the one and the cheesey garlic hot dog

Well cooked arrived hot and on time, had about half a dozen meals from Dolphin kitchen in the past and always enjoyed them no problems at all. Highly recommended.

Issue with order and being neuro divergent didn’t help me when contacting the restaurant, sorry. They were kind and remedied for us. The food was really well packed and presented and the other half and son said it was lovely. Delivery chap was lovely. Defo worth an order.

Food was delicious and hot on delivery. Would 100% order again. Only improvement I could suggest would be to update the phone number on Just Eat as it’s incorrect and maybe put on someone on to update the order as after an hour when you see no update, I nearly cancelled thinking it wasn’t going to come. But now I have the correct phone number, I will order directly next time.

We were watching a film last night so we ordered takeaway from Dolphin Square Dolphin Square Kitchen It’s always good from there, the roast dinners are brilliant Last night we had cow meets pig burger, chicken wings in peanut sauce, mini Camembert with onion chutney and loaded fries, all delicious It’s really handy the way you can order in advance, too I think they’ve done brilliantly the way they’ve developed and built up this place up into somewhere unique to Weston and the huge range of food they serve up

I have ordered everything week from this place and I have never had not 1 problem beautiful and staff are soo friendly

Don't normally do reviews , but the burgers and roasts from this place are ridiculous. Honestly smashing it out the park time after time , exceptional . Thankyou keep up the good work A*

Food was good. But they used to provide in a big dish but now its all in individual containers. so you have to unpack and use a plate. One of the reason to order takeaway is no dishes!

Tried something new tonight and it was as good, if not better, than what I usually order. they should really put a tag line in their bio 'A Warm Hug' because that is what this place really delivers. The Turkey and the Beef roasts were lovely. Everything was perfectly cooked. Shall def use again. And recommend.

So we had to wait for food, but we knew this in advance when ordering. Apparently the best things are worth waiting for and that could not be any more true in this case! Food was amazing! Portions were large and we enjoyed every part of it.

When you can get food its fantastic but the last 4 times I've tried to order takeaway or collection then app or website not working or the payment system is down. Last 2 times because I know how good the food is I have gone to the shop to order and collect and both times staff less than helpful saying the wait is too long so I have left without food. I'm sadly giving up, despite really wanting to order from them regularly, they haven't made it possible never mind easy. I'm Gutted ***It's been a long time but I keep thinking about how good their food is so tried again tonight. Placed an order on their app. the order confirmed it had gone through and gave me an authorisation code. Wait 70 mins not ideal but at least I knew before I ordered. Over 2 hours later I phoned only to have them say they hadn't received my order. I could order over the phone but it would be an hour wait. No apology, no trying to speed it up as their app had failed and already waited 2 hours, so once again no food for me. That really was (disappointingly) the last attempt at using them. So silly, they need to sort out their app and customer service. Thankfully, despite the app telling me it had, it had not taken any money or it would have been a very different conversation going on.

Fantastic food but the wait for delivery was over an hour and half in the end. However it was the day of the Weston super mare half marathon so I can imagine the place was extremely busy as well as issues with traffic

Finally a decent burger place in Weston, can’t believe we didn’t try it before. I thought burger barn was bad before I tried this place, now I think they should have their food license revoked 😂 all compliments, two very satisfied customers, thank you. :)

Bang on time of when we ordered it. Burger was banging as always but chips were not the best, a bit soggy and peri peri flavouring was bland- don’t think it’s the same stuff we had on the chips before. Good portion sizes, wish there was an option to have the garlic & Parmesan chips in the meal as wouldn’t pay £5 separately.

When I first ordered a roast from Dolphin Square, I said it felt like a warm hug. I did not try their other foods for a while being a creature of habit but I just tried burger and boy was it good! The delivery driver was a treat. Warm, friendly and polite, so unlike others I have come across who rarely engage and obviously do not like their work. This guy was the complete opposite. I have found that when owners deliver their own food, they are friendlier so maybe he was related but I don't know that. All I do know is that the food and the delivery was a delightful experience and worth the money spent. Weston Grill is a warm hug in a sometimes cold world. Highly recommended.

Roast dinner consisted of Frozen vegetables, and frozen potatoes. Instant mashed pota to The meat was lovely and so was the Yorkshire pudding . I won't be ordering again

Amazing to have a roast delivered on a Tuesday night that good. If you went to a pub and that was served you would be very happy. Be nice if you could add extra or more than one meat.

Well, all I can say is, they must have a new chef !! We've ordered from here many times and the food has always been very good, but, unfortunately today it was not !! The vegetables were cold, the roast potatoes were burnt and inedible, the pork was tough and chewy. The only thing that was nice, was the gravy !! Complete waste of money.

Me and my partner get roasts here most Sundays and they are absolutely delicious. A little annoying u have to pay £5 for cauliflower cheese as these days it's a standard thing to have on a roast but it's worth it coz it's so tasty. The meat is always perfect and u get a generous amount of everything. Would highly recommend

although the order was very slightly late, they took the trouble to call us and apologise, the delivery drivers also apologised, but it was worth the wait, excellent food as always, would recommend

Ordered a Sunday roast. Delivery driver opened my back door and was half way in home. Frientened the life out of me. I phoned 3 times and asked to speak to manager and each time told not there but would leave a message, never bothered to return call to apologise or see how I was. I phoned Police and had a visit next day, explained to them what had happened, showed them back door where driver was entering. Female officer could have been mistaken for a porch. I opened back door to show it wasn't a porch and a back door to property. They said would I like them to visit dolphin square kitchen and speak to them, to which I said yes. Heard nothing back from Police or owner of dolphin square kitchen. Disgraceful how this happened and owner of business obviously doesn't care about customers. No empathy,care or consideration for anyone. Be aware if having a delivery, owner will definitely blame the delivery company 100%. Thing is he hired the company to work for him, so passing the buck won't work. Shocking customer service, none excistent. I would rate a zero but have to put atleast 1 star.

Just recieved our delivery 2 lamb roasts and cauli cheese. What can we say best take away roast I have ever had! Portion size brilliant, everything hot and tastes great. Plus delivery was 15 mins early 5 star don't often leave reviews but felt I had too with this 👍

Waited a very long time for the food and wasn’t that impressed about it, the chips and camembert were very nice but wasn’t impressed with the rest. The chicken you couldn’t actually taste the marmite at all, the hot dog I couldn’t actually pick up without it falling apart and the garlic baguette was very burnt and the burger tasted like a frozen beef patty and had no taste, we thought it would be a fresh home made burger. We aren’t happy with how much we paid for our food and the outcome of it.

The food arrived a little late, but it was well worth the wait! We thoroughly enjoyed our roast lamb, was piping hot when delivered and will be ordering again in the future. Would thoroughly recommend if you fancy a good roast dinner without the effort of making it yourself.

I was skeptical about ordering a roast dinner from what seems to be a burger and hot dog sort of place. Thought it would taste like Gandhi's flip flop, because I thought it would've dried out under a heat lamp for hours. I was pleasantly surprised. It was banging. Had the roast lamb. Came with all the trimmings you could want. Defo having it again when I get the chance.
