Fantastic experience again. Never a bad time here. Staff, food, place..it's all good. Who would have thought such a 5 star Italian resturant like this would exist in Thornhill, right on our doorstep!

I have been to this restaurant a few times the service the food the prices are fantastic they give 100 percent in everything highly recommend will be back.

We went last night to this restaurant,we have been before,and once again No complaints at all.We were in a group of 4.The pizzas you can make up yourself from the tomato and cheese start off.Then choose your own toppings.I decided on a made up Meat Feast Calzone.Another one of our party chose the Lasagne,and two others the Pollo del bosco accompanied with home made chips. There wasn’t long to wait before the food arrived,and all the meals were piping hot.And all very tasty.Freshly cooked ingredients.The helpings were so generous that some had to be left. The price was very reasonable,and we shall definitely be returning.My thanks go to the two waitresses who were busy all night,but still friendly..

Just walked through the door after the best meal I have ever had at this restaurant. Absolutely delicious food (try the Pollo Dolce Vita), and lovely welcoming staff. Tip- Don't eat all day before coming. You won't regret it.

A family of eight went for dinner on Christmas day. All the courses were really tasty and well presented. The prawn cocktail starters were really nice. I had the pate starter which was like a main course. The main courses varied. Some had traditional Christmas dinners but three of us medallions of fillet beef and I can honestly say I have never eaten nicer fillet. There were two fillets on each plate, really tender served with a lovely gravy. The meat just melted in your mouth. The vegetables and potatoes were served separately and they were well cooked and really hot. All the deserts were really tasty and ample portions. Some of our party were too full to eat them and took them home to eat later. The service was good and there was ample time between courses. We went at 2.00pm a didn't leave until nearly 5.00pm. Tried calling to book a table, no answer. Then my daughter enquired on Facebook but no one got back to me so you lost out on our customer by ignoring us. Shame. Seems my daughter has investigated on face book for me as I do not use it, to find a message saying fully booked at 4:12pm. Because we never heard back by phone from the restaurant we weren’t expecting a message back on face book. This is not the way to run a business using oniy Facebook to book if you don’t answer the phone, then not call back. Sorry.

What an amazing meal outstanding service food cooked to the highest levels and perfection. I strongly recommended to anyone to try this amazing place. Value for money with a 5 star service and excellent food.

I don’t really see what the fuss is about this restaurant to be fair. Booked for 6pm, not realising this was when the Early bird menu was operating. It was the first time we had visited and first impressions weren’t that great. Decor was dark and dingy. I appreciate it’s an old pub but it could do with a re-vamp. Ordered aranchini which seemed like it had been frozen and just had sauce poured on top. My husband had pate which looked like it was supermarket bought and served with a slice of white bread (I’d have thought it would have been served in a little pot with some artisan bread). Mains weren’t anything special. We all had pizza. It was ok. I was disappointed if I’m honest. I know this will sound really negative but I’m hoping that from this the restaurant just make some tweaks which could make all the difference. The decor needs brightening up and the food needs to be fresh and home made where possible. I don’t think frozen, supermarket food will do nowadays.

Food was nice, they gave us different to what we ordered and charged us what what they gave us not what we ordered. when we questioned the bill the blonde woman got so aggressive and nasty. very rude and shouting at us in front of a full restaurant. It was very embarrassing for us. We were intending to go quite often but do not plan to return now. she needs anger management and to learn some customer service skills. Her attitude and aggression was so over the top. Think her poor dad was too scared of her to do anything! If she has a husband god help him! The lady that served us was absolutely lovey.

It's a great restaurant/takeaway, we had a fab time celebrating a friends birthday. Food was value for money and the service from Sarah really great.

Great value for money as the portion sizes are huge. The decor is a bit tired and the young waitress was either new or in need of a bit of a refresher on her job role. No real engagement and going through the motions, but efficient enough. The early bird menu has a great selection represents quality quantity and does not break the bank.

A girlie birthday celebration, the service was excellent from ordering to delivery of food course's. The food was well presented and very tasty. We did a slip bill, which was well organised. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous here, lovely staff and a really nice family feel. The location is also beautiful and the interior feels really fashionable and a very aesthetically pleasing place to eat. We told then we were sharing a starter, and they split it up on two plates which I thought was just a lovely, personal touch and made things a lot easier (it was the salmon and prawns and was just gorgeous) .The pizza was also beautiful. The only thing I'd say is that we didn't get a wine cooler with our wine, but honesty it didn't matter too much. We will be back

Came tonight with my lil family and thoroughly enjoyed it! BEST Italian I’ve ever had! Only thing I’d say is staff more attentive but other than that can’t fault a single thing! Deffo be back!

Fantastic restaurant, have been going for several years. Finally had a steak. It was obviously cooked in heaven and sent to the restaurant cosseted in the wings of an angel. Absolutely lovely. Asked for a wine recommendation and they said the house wine is really good. So we had that and it was top notch. Can't wait to visit again. Can you guess what I will be ordering? 🤔🐂🍷 Sorry no photos, I couldn't stop eating once I'd started.

This is a fantastic place if there's 2 or a party of many, there is only a small car park so go early

Great place, excellent food, and very helpful staff

My first review of these premises said they were excellent, and that we would return, well true to our word we have visited several times, we have just got back from the restaurant tonight to celebrate an anniversary, it just gets better. Seated quickly, drinks order taken straight away. Food order taken and short time later starters delivered, they were lovely. Whilst waiting for main course a party of 16 arrived, did this cause any problems for the two serving staff…not at all, our mains were not delayed and again were excellent. The chefs work very hard, the serving staff work very hard the end result is an excellent restaurant serving excellent food. I fully recommend this restaurant and it’s staff and food….thank you for an excellent night.

What is wrong with this place and the people 2 hour wait for food, took ages to ask if we wanted drinks, no return to ask if we wanted top ups so had to go to the bar Grumpy staff, no please or thank you. Average food at top price No ice cream for the kids because of the long wait (kids fell asleep) Better customer service at Greggs in Batley I did a personal message to ask if everything was ok and was basically told to p off Thanks but never again

Been coming here since it opened and never got round to leaving a Google review. Can't praise this place highly enough; get service, atmosphere and sensational food. The calzone I ordered last week could have been involved in a food eating competition. You won't be disappointed here.

Well what a fabulous evening 9 of us in our party and the food was absolutely excellent, a little wait between courses but I prefer it that way, lovely friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble!

Always delicious food, really big portions and good value for money. Shame it isn't always busy when we go which can affect the atmosphere but we love it here

I’ve been loads of times and just love their authentic Cannelloni they offer free garlic bread while you wait and my friend loves the pizza and lamb shank.

A lovely evening, great food. Had the early bird menu. Great value. The portions were huge, I’d recommend that if they reduced those by a 3rd the portions would still be bigger than any restaurant in the area, it would cut costs for the company but still keep them at the best value for money in these uncertain times. I highly commend the owners and staff of this lovely restaurant…. A big thank you to the waiters, they were very friendly and attentive… highly recommended… we will come back… thank you for a lovely evening 👍😊

Lovely little Italian restaurant. First time visit with the family and was very happy we decided to try somewhere different from our usual choice. The food was delicious, we were given free garlic bread whilst waiting for our starters too. Will definitely come again.

The second time we've visited here. Really can't fault it. The people are very friendly, the food is good. You would never go hungry as the portions are huge. Drinks are a reasonable price too. A nice casual family atmosphere. All in all, I really recommend this place but do book as by about 8pm ish the restaurant is full, unsurprisingly.

Visited on Saturday 2nd April with my family, and friends to celebrate my birthday. We had good food, and wine. The service was brilliant. Many thanks for a great evening.

Cracking food, AWESOME value for money

Had our first visit here last week after hearing good things. The food was really nice but unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. We weren't asked if we'd like any more drinks after the initial drinks order, and even after calling waitresses over on several occasions we were told someone would be with us in a minute, but nobody ever came so we had to get up and go to the bar for drinks. Also, one member of our party received the wrong main course, upon telling the waitress we were told she would look into it, she never came back, after 20 minutes and a couple of unsuccessful attempts to get a waitresses attention, the party member decided to just eat the main course she had received. The food was decent and we would try it again, but would book a quieter night through the week, not a Saturday.
