Dolce Heaven in Worthing

After nice dinner at Wetherspoons, I decided for the treat myself to a special desert. It was getting on the bit in the evening when I got here, not many people around so there was plenty of available seating and I got served very quickly. It’s my first time here so I had a good look through the menu before choosing. I had a banana split sundae (a whole banana with scoops of vanilla, strawberry and chocolate ice cream, covered in chocolate sauce, whipped cream, nuts and fresh raspberries) I haven’t had good of banana split in years so this was a very uncommon indulgence, I loved it

The toilets here are an absolute disgrace, excrement on the seat and spattered all around the porcelain Reported when I arrived, have been here 45 minutes and haven’t seen anyone go to clean them. If I hadn’t already ordered and paid I would have left!!!! Menus were sticky and many tables not clean. Not busy so no excuse. Won’t be back!

Must have been a bad time. Called in early evening for a dessert, large place but only two people in there. Lots of different ice creams but limited desserts/cakes. Nothing was labelled so not sure what the desserts/cakes were? Couple of staff were behind counter but didn’t come over to say hello or ask if I wanted anything. Didn’t feel very welcoming so I left.

Went in after the Worthing 5th November fireworks so expected a bit of a wait, but my god who knew how long it would take. We ordered 2 ice cream cones and one crepe. 45mins later we final had them. But one was in a cup when I'd ordered a cone and one was a single scope when I'd ordered 2 scope. The place was half empty by this point, just a lot of annoyed looking people becoming increasingly frustrated with the wait time. Quite why it had taken soooo long and why a simple order was soooo wrong is beyond me. The ice cream itself was very nice and the crepe was OK, but I don't think I have the patience to attempt going back here again.
