Love this place, delicious food, excellent service, been going there for 8 years....

Good place to eat. Nice people. The portions are enough. If you plan to dine in, be ready to wait at least 30 mins. Better to call and reserve in advance. We got plater number One from the menu. It is enough for three adults.

I experienced today one of the worst thing I felt disgusted it was busy I when standing in the queue left my family in the car after few minutes other guy but Turkish come stand behind me one member of the stuff come touke my name asked how many of us something with the guy behind they where group of 5 to but after 30 minutes he was called before me and other 2 family who where before me disgusting behaviour of one of the stuff the boss was very nice but couldn't admit it was wrong I would never go again

Went in with my family to eat for lunch food came fast, tasty. Staff members are very polite and kind. Restaurant is very clean. Best food ever .

Went for Iftar.. Got the steak doner.. it’s pretty much just overly priced bland doner meat. Took about three attempts and 20 mins later to get any sauces. Very cramped place (parents don’t go there with kids). Breads and stuff came in time to break fast was about the only good thing. No space to prayer Salah for those brothers/sisters. Personally I wouldn’t go back.

Just a quick review this time. Came for a friend's birthday. Staff were friendly and nice although lacked a little attention to detail, came for a table of 5 but only had 4 plates and cutlery for like 20 mins, eventually had to ask for it (Minor issue but was noted). So I've been to several Turkish restaurants in East London, so my comparison is against those. The Turkish pizza (Lamacun) I ordered was average. The adana kebab I got was nice And the lamb cubes were very good too. The Bulgar wheat lacked flavour and seemed a bit on the dry side. Hummus was average Salad was average Doner was OK. Drinks were fine as well. Prices a little more expensive than I'm used to paying for Turkish. Atmosphere was nice and overall pleasant. Ultimately would I go again, probably not.... Purely because I've been to better places.

The place provide authentic Turkish cuisine with all it aspects, the place is nice and clean with amble number of seats The food came so quickly tender and tasty, the staff was very welcoming and helpful. And as always in any Turkish restaurant it must end with free Turkish tea

This is definitely the place we will come to whenever we miss the food of our country. I have never eaten such delicious lahmacun in Izmir 😋 Döner is good but I have eaten better in Izmir 😅 (those who know Master Vedat know) the employees are very friendly and helpful. Just an advice, a menu can be prepared for children, coloring papers and paints can be prepared. The happier the children are, the more parents will come 😉 thank you.

Fabulous! It was the first time I tasted Turkish cuisine and it was love at first sight: beautiful place and welcoming staff, always smiling and kind. But what obviously won me over was the food... plentiful and delicious, a very pleasant discovery. We were also offered dessert. 🔝

So disappointed! Came to green lanes especially for the food as no longer live in London! Unfortunately we went to Diyarbakir kitchen, traveled 2 hours to dine at a traditional turkish, we picked the wrong one, should have gone to Hala or Gokyuzu instead. First of all we were rudely ushered to a table that was still being cleaned and unable to get through because the tables beside had guests both leaving and arriving so there was no space. The waiter seemed frustrated that we patiently waited for the people to move and for the table to be cleaned. We had someone joining us and despite being told countless times they set the table for one less! Next the waiter seemed irritated as I took a while deciding what I was going to order. They brought out the chips way before the mains so they got cold and weren’t eaten! Next, when the food was put on the table two pieces of ribs fell off the plate onto the table and were not replaced. On the large platter which costs nearly £100, there was hardly any Doner, the rice and doner that was there was cold and the ribs had next to no meat on them! The bulgar tasted dry and old. I personally make better at home! When packing our leftovers for take away the waiter rudely came to take the plates before I had finished! The table was left dirty for a while whilst others were being attended to, when it was eventually wiped all the food remnants were wiped off the table onto our clothing!! No apologies were made and it happened more than once…. So very disappointing!! I refused to pay the service charge considering the experience and then it was loudly spoken about in Turkish with other members of staff… completely unprofessional! Couldn’t wait to get out of there to be honest!! As a family we were looking forwards to reminisce and have a proper Turkish meal! Unfortunately both the service and food was not up to par considering the price charged. What an absolute shame!!

Great food, plenty to eat all nicely cooked and even great Turkish tea.

It was okay, the service was a bit poor, I had to keep getting up myself to ask for things as the waiter’s were busy chatting. Food was not cooked that well. The tables were so small for 5 people, quite disappointing. Overall was okay.

One of many Turkish restaurants on this stretch of Green Lanes. Everything was OK, but nothing to particularly enthuse about. We had Tavuk Doner (chicken £18.50), Sigara Borek (feta stuffed pastry rolls £8.90), Guvec (stew £14.50) and a Vegetable Kebab (£14.50).

Among all the other restaurants on this street, they have the best döner by far!

We've been coming here for years. I like the fact they've concentrated less on the glitz and more on the food. Fantastic içli köfte and excellent kebab.

This place used to be amazing, the service and ambience still is very good but the food quality and value for money has really dropped since the place became super popular. We find it very pricey now and consider it a treat rather than somewhere we can eat regularly.

Prefer the old little one, but staff were fab, veggie and omnivore were at table, both left wanting to go back as soon as they had space in tummies. Not sure about vegan, but it caters well for non meat eaters 👍

Great restaurant! Lovely service and food! Cold Mezze dishes and bread served with the platters and good range of veggie options too. Often very busy to definitely book beforehand.

Ordered a platter for one and a cold mezze on Uber Eats, for just shy of £50. The UBER driver delivered the wrong order which was returned to the driver who said he would return to the restaurant to pick up the correct order to be delivered. This didn’t happen and despite my efforts speaking with staff at the restaurant they put the blame on UBER and said there’s “nothing we can do”. Meanwhile UBER EATS app put you through to a robot who repeatedly responded saying “this order cannot be refunded.” Both parties are equally to blame and I will never order from this restaurant again. The staff lacked any sort of empathy which was frustrating to say the least, but unfortunately this the reality we live in. So I’m £48 out of pocket with nothing to show for it… where’s the fairness in that?? Here’s some photos of the driver and what I was delivered and returned. The driver is as dishonest as they get, as he didn’t return to the restaurant to pick up the correct order either (according to the person I spoke to, so who knows as I wouldn’t trust either party).

We had lahmacun(Turkish pizza ),kuzu döner (thinly sliced lamb meat) , içli köfte (stuffed meatballs ) They served cacık (tzatziki) ,bread ,salad and tea with the food and they were on the house . Food was nice ,atmosphere was nice but staff wasn’t smiley and they didn’t care us at all ! They were arguing each other and there was lot of staff was standing in the middle of the restaurant.

Halal ✅ We were late and were the last customers however it did not stop the team showing us great service. They waited our tables with respect and kept checking whether we needed refills. There was no sense of rush and they did not hesitate with any request. The food was delicious and very filling! The bread was also lovely at the start with the sauces. We pretty much filled up from that haha. We did make room for dessert cake which was again delicious and worth having. Ended the meal with some tea. Thank you for having us and we'll be back soon!

Of course I have had superior meals in Istanbul but for a Londoner unable to travel to Turkey for a meal, this is as good as it gets. Far, far better than anything else we have tried both north and south of the river.

Took my family for a surprise dinner. It was not a pleasant visit unfortunately though food was good 👍 but service was awful👎. We felt not welcomed. Staff was rude and aggressive. Double Standards on display. We been treated differently then others.

I previously went here 5 years ago and the portions were huge this time the rice was under flavoured and small portions. I normally order the lamb doner but they had run out by 10pm on a Saturday night which is ridiculous I had wings they were only half wings they tasted nice but I will be going elsewhere from now on.

This was my favourite place to go but sadly not after last experience. Food was hot outside but stone cold inside and 3 of the people working there that was walking around our table absolutely stunk of bo and that should not be allowed in good restaurant!

This place is vibrant and family friendly. Staff are mostly attentive and helpful. But sometimes you need to ask twice.. the food is delicious and fresh, you get complimentary salad and bread and Turkish tea as well. However, I thought food portions were too small for the price.

The quality and taste of food is always so consistent. This is my favourite restaurant in the area. Last time we went we had Tahsin serving us. He took good care of us and when we asked him questions about the different types of dishes he answered them very well. The portions are good and well priced. Great experience I always recommend it to my friends.

Kendisini Sedat Peker sanan gözlüklü sakallı bir çalışana başka bir garsonun boş masa olduğunu söylediğini söylediğimizde kaba ve asabi bir tavırla 'o garson bakmıyor kardeşim ben bakıyorum' diye son derece asabi ve saygısız bir cevapla karşılaştık. Tamam kardeşim sen orada önemli bir şahsiyetsin ve orayı sen idare ediyorsun anladık!!! Ayrıca, çalışanlar arasındaki gerginlik de müşterilere yansıyor; ocak başındaki ustalardan birisi garsonu yine saygısızca çağırarak 'hadi çabuk al bunu şuradan' diye son derece kaba bir ifadede bulundu. Dolayısı ile böyle negatif ve saygısız bir ortamda bişey yemek istemedim ve ailemi de alarak yemek yemeden ayrıldık zaten. Bişey yemediğimiz için yiyecekler için bir puanlama yapıp haksızlık etmek istemiyorum. Kısaca ben rahat ve saygılı bir ortam bulmadım.

Its a very nice Turkish Place different to some of the others on green lanes. We had a very tentative waiter, looking after all our needs. Even gave us a free Sutlac (Turkish rice pudding).

today after work I was very hungry I have been working in this area for 2 weeks and I didn't know that the cooking was professional and very tasty it was very close to where I worked and I swear that I emigrated outside my country for 10 years and I have never eaten such good food and it reminded me of my mother when she prepared food for me so lovingly who wants food with a lot of love, you can find it here, I swear you will be very satisfied in the end, after we finished the food, 1 honorable lady offered us a rice with milk... good luck and don't change it because you are very good wonderful staff
