Aleion in Haringey

8 of us gave this restraunt a try on Saturday evening. It has a nice and friendly atmosphere and we were shown at our rabke at the back of the restraunt, which suited us, not to be too near other diners. The food was European, with a choice of lamb, fish and burger dishes. I presume the menu changes every week or month. The food was good, but nothing special for the prices charged. 3 of us had the salmon on mashed potatoes and greens. Others had burgers and a lamb dish. I wouldn't necessarily return, as I found the food and style of cooking pretty well common in many of these types of restraunts.

I have been at this cosy little local restaurant a few times and never left disappointed. Always nice, seasonal, short menu with tasty food and friendly service. Great for brunch, lunch or a special occasion dinner as well. (One of the best tuna steak ever)

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful evening at this welcoming restaurant. The food was out of this world - my sea bass was cooked to perfection and our deserts were to die for.

Went there by chance and had a thoroughly delightful meal. The surround was good and it is a really great place. It is best described as intimate and I strongly recommend that you should pay them a visit.The menu is interesting and caters for all tastes. The service is excellent. All in all I would tell you to go as this is an independant and look forward to you reviewing it favourably as they deserve it.

I cannot fault anything about this lovely little restaurant. It was a last minute find after having read some of the reviews. We received excellent service as well as some really tasty, fresh food! Will definitely be back and also recommend.😀

Being a local for long time I was thrilled to have such an amazing breakfast at this restaurant. From the coffee to excellent service this place is top place I would choose everyday. Well done Ian.

Well worth a visit. Excellent food freshly cooked to order, very friendly staff, good ambience. We were a party of 6 and the waiter swapped bits of the menu around for us with no problem. The only thing worth pointing out is that the toilets are downstairs so not really suitable for some disabilities.

Ashamed to say that I've walked past this independent restaurant a few times over the last year, said to myself that the menu looks great and promised I'll visit - without ever doing so. Finally did so yesterday and was very impressed. Great choice for meat-eaters and vegetarians on the menu, excellent food and attentive service - even although it was a busy lunchtime. I'll definitely be back.

It’s a beautiful venue, great for people watching. Good choice of food. Tell the chef to go easy on the salt! The feta salad definitely doesn’t need it.

Enjoyed an excellent supper at Aleion last night. Attentive and amusing service, lovely menu with a sweet range of mains without being bewildering. Lamb was top flight. Tiramasu dangerous. Busy and lovely atmosphere, but we could hear each other without having to shout. Definitely recommended.

Better than good .. best quality whole-foods supplied. Top notch. Nicely sourced produce well seasoned and cooked with love and care. The place a little tiny as regards sitting comfortably space but worth it for the quality meal they produce. Not expensive and a very well balanced menu with a number of old fashioned childhood favs like, fish finger sandwich ... to die for! A very sophisticated up market burger style plate with loads of salad veg. Teas all fresh and loose leaf- no bleached tea bags in sight... excellent coffees Service good.

I really liked the coffee in here. Foodwise, it had potential. I had the eggs royale. The poached egg was very food and fresh but unfortunately it was cold. Also would always prefer a muffin for eggs royale than toast

Lovely independent little restaurant in Muswell Hill. We visited for brunch. Service was efficient and friendly. The food was tasty, good sized portions and well presented. I had the cooked breakfast and my partner had the eggs Benedict. Good prices too. Plenty of choice. Will definitely be back for another visit.

Went to Aleion for brunch and it was great! Food is really fresh and portions are big. I had a vegetarian breakfast and my husband had a meat one. Kids shared poached eggs on toast. Really liked the sourdough bread! Will be back!

The staff here are always really friendly and helpful and the food is always delicious. A nice escape from the chain restaurants that seem to be favoured by the local yummy mummies so relatively peaceful. Have returned and will return again.

We went twice in 3 Weeks. Great food at very reasonable price. The scallops with the cauliflower were fantastic and the mussels as well. Next time, I need to try the meat which looks succulent. Please keep it as it is with the same standard.
