Disappointing way to spend 38 quid. Pizza was forgotten on delivery so had to wait 40 mins for it to come so my son sat starving watching us eat. I understand these things happen and would forgive it, but the quality of the food we did receive was poor. Chips were cold, hard and tasted like cardboard. The lettuce inside the wrap was browning, clearly old too. Won't be ordering again.

So the shop has been renovated but food quality went down the hill. It used to be our go to takeaway but never visiting again. You are charging £8 for a Peri Peri burger meal which was ready in less than a minute after ordering? How?? Had to throw away peri burger as it was pre-cooked with no sauce/marination. No wonder shop is empty all the time now, used to super busy at lunch and dinner times. Sort out your food!!!

Actually, I am not happy because this is the third time I told you please my drink is hot please I wanna cold one but every time you send me the hot so warm on every time I order for example for eight 8 o’clock sometime 10 or 15 minutes before before my time, call me your orders ready sometime after 10 minutes or 15 minutes , actually I’m not happy

As always so after 5 minutes of placing the order guys click it's ready to collect but when you get there they starting to prepare it so idk what's the point of ordering it through the app the only difference is a service fee

Absolutely horrible chicken spiced burgers. Dixy had a standard these guys fry the pre cooked burgers tastes like boiled chicken Weres the spicy burger. This is a oily boiled burger Waste of money Fries were nice

I am not happy the food arrived with battered fish with battered chicken pieces this is not what i ordered the person eating this is allergic to fish

told me they delivered the food but clearly went to the wrong address. Then I had to wait again for more food to be made and delivered all over again. so in total it took 1 hour and 45 mins to finally get my food.

Have ordered from here lots via just eat and never had a problem. Loved the bucket deals and great price for them. I've reviewed via the app numerous times to say how good it is but the last few times I have ordered, including last nights, it has been poor. Chicken was undercooked, both the pieces and the fillets. The wings tasted of old oil and the fries were anaemic. Dunno whether it's new staff or something but wasn't pleasant and threw it in the bin after a few bites

The fillet o fish burger that I ordered was horrible. The batter was so salty it couldn’t be eaten. The whole burger looked very unappetising. Not happy.

The food was early which is good but just wasn’t expecting it so early as on the app it said will be delivered between 7:55/8:15 but e was delivered at 7:30. 1 drink can was missing as we ordered 4 meals so instead of 4 cans of drinks we got 3,we also ordered 3 sizzler burgers and 1 classic but all of the burgers was classic, was not happy with the food as the food was not tasty.

Worse food ever please avoid this restaurant i had seen the guy scratching his back side and dealing with food without gloves, so unhygienic!!! Yuck !! I left the store straight away. He is a fan of Boris johnson lol loves quoting his name saying complain to him. I should have learnt the first time when i found hair in my food . Avoid at all cost honestly go elsewhere, they are rude and disgusting. Unless you like food thats been touch while scratching the sweat lol then carry on by all means

After being a regular customer and ordering every week and sometimes twice a week, the way your manager spoke to me today was out of order, today was the last time I ordered, food was cold, dry and disgusting and when I called to talk about why there are no lemon and herb sauce on their as per my request he started shouting at me and saying you have to pay extra, my order total was around £75 if I was told from the start I am sure I wouldn’t mind paying for extra lemon and herb sauce, disgusting manager, if someone is willing to pay £75 to you for their food £5-6 extra for sauce is definitely NOT AN ISSUE for them so make sure you know how you talk to your customers and who you are talking to, such low life staff!!!!!!

My food was delivered on time which most places take the mick. One thing I didn’t like was, I wrote on the instructions not to knock my front door, but the delivery driver rang the doorbell instead. He didn’t even ring it, he pressed it down for ages & this was at 12:00 am.

Over an hour late. Waiting up past midnight is not ideal and we are very unimpressed.

Peri chicken was amazing full of flavour and they gave me extra sauce which was great !

I’m usually happy with Dixy but being pregnant and in hospital and having the incorrect order delivered by a rude driver really p****d me of. Just to clarify I did not order a meat/pineapple pizza but rather a veggie hot and if I paid for extra sauce in my wrap I don’t expect no sauce at all!! Soggy dry hard fries topped the meal of. Disappointed is the nicest word I can use.

Food got delivered cold and didn’t taste right at all. Being chicken ended up going into the bin afterwards

Firstly, I was given the wrong order from a different driver. When I called the restaurant they told me the driver was on his way with my order. When the food arrived, it was late and it was cold, the ice-cream had already melted to a milkshake consistency. Due to it being so close to midnight, I had to feed my kids the cold food.😕

Peri peri chicken salad was extremely soft and filled with flavour. The salad was very fresh. Excellent delivery service

I've been at this premises for so long, but it seems like this was the time for me to write a review. The food has declined in taste, but that wasn't the reason why I have decided to write a review. The staff in there are appalling. They don't care when you are there. They are rude, they ask for your order as of they are doing you a favour. If you change your order, they get so annoyed even though your still making the order. The staff tend to talk in there language, even though they are talking to you, like really... They have been talking about the owners son who comes to help out now and then, who maybe is the nicest person in there, but they mock him and talk down of him. Even to the point thinking he's think too much of himself. I think that's appalling. I had my colleague with me, who understands there language and has mentioned this. This is so wrong. The owners need to talk to them if they need the business to thrive. Having those staff on board is not good for business. The attitude towards the customer is not good. Hope the management can sort this out. If this continues, I'll be going elsewhere. Taking along all my staff orders and those who work with me.

The quality was awful. The chicken steak burger was over cooked and cold. It wasn’t cooked fresh. There was a bone inside the burger too, and no sauce in the burger despite requesting sauce. The fries were also not freshly cooked. They weren’t fried fresh. More like cold left over fries. The standard of the dixy chicken in Coventry most definitely lacks! Extremely disappointing.

found a piece of polystyrene in my takeaway bought on 05/05/23, from Foleshill, Coventry. I made a casual complaint at the counter today when I went to buy another takeaway. I was not taken seriously at all. At first the assistant refused to believe that the fb was in the food. Then he asked if I was trying to get free chicken from them. I asked to see the manager when another man appeared from the kitchen and questioned why I was late in complaining? I tried to explain and realised that they weren’t interested at all. I said okay, now I will lodge a formal complaint and he said, “do what you have to do”. I have been a regular customer since the past eight years. I am not at all satisfied with the way my complaint was dealt with. Not even an apology was given. Dixy, you need to train your staff better in customer service and ensure food is not contaminated. The contact us section on the website doesn’t work. What a joke! Unprofessional to say the least

Horrible staff, very rude, sarcasm is bad. The lads at the till were saying they all started working on that same day as a comment to prove they don’t know about the systems there. They started laughing. AVOID!!

I ordered regular chicken nuggets and onion rings but the chicken nuggets came as a children's meal. One pizza was wrong but that was sorted.

Great yummy food. We ordered peri peri chicken with extra hot rice. Good quantity of food they serve. Small enough place to sit and eat. Hospitality is descent, not upto mark. I would visit more for food. Free Car parking available nearby area. Shop is open late night also. Good price.

Normally I love everything I order from dixy and regularly order from here, but in my sizzler meal box I didn’t get 3 wings as I was supposed to, and also the sizzler burger didn’t taste like a sizzler burger - it just tasted like a normal chicken filet burger. Usually I have no complaints but nothing was really up to standards today. The doner also wasn’t very flavourful but the fries were great 👍🏼.
