Boss man really helpful with choosing what to order and had a great manner about himself.

AVOID !!! Horrible people very bad chicken and the chips sat there for ages think there smart by people be drunk when they walk in there serve them rubbish hope they don't go bankrupt with they bad habits

Great food, great prices, great service and very clean. I had the honor of eating here before the elkie brooks concert. Great to see good sanitation going on unlike other takeaway resturants. I recommend this place,and will visit again the next time i am in leeds. Well done everyone. Well done indeed.

Orded on ubereats food was horrible.

Ambience is nice ,very clean restaurant and food is average.. not bad neither great... Quality of chicken is good ,but I had much more tastier food so I feel it was average.. chicken fillet burger I would recommend, but wings and chicken pieces are ok ok.. overall decent food for that price..

I thought I’ll try dixys, after seeing all the hype on social media, huge disappointment to be honest. I ordered the dixy box meal, 1 chicken fillet burger 1 side 2 wings 1 pc fried chicken. The people working gave me 3 wings instead 1 piece of chicken. The chicken wings were not good. I did not finish them, it’s like they were a day old. The chicken fillet burger was satisfactory at best if I’m being honest. Just disappointed really, will not order from here again

Arguably the worst takeaway order I’ve ever received. The service from Uber eats was quick however this did not compensate for the food quality. The worst tasting chicken wings ever and the chips had the same flavour/scent. Tasted and smelled rancid I would urge no one to order from here with immediate affect

Lovely staff. Couldn’t be more helpful. Food cooked fresh and even after my 10mins taxi home it was still hot and well packed. I got food to take out but noticed all the tables, counter and floor were all really clean

Not sure if the place is under new management, as it’s been a while. 1. Everything was very clean. 2. The staff were very professional and friendly. 3. They offer peri strips for a good price, you can even get 10 pc of them for under a tenner. 4. The peri strips and chips were excellent, they were nicely grilled, as well as with a great texture. This place will now be my go to for peri strips.

Absolutely atrocious. Poor hygiene, poor customer service, they have junkies there, the dwarf of a manager is an absolute tool, didnt offer to resolve the issue. I wouldn't bother spending there unkess you want to be disappointed. Way better dixy's out there or ither chicken shops. Won't be visiting any time soon

DISGUSTING & APPALLING food and service...PLZ DON'T GO HERE if u care about your health, i ordered fried chicken & it smelled & tasted like it was fried 2 weeks ago, when i told the staff 1st they didn't pay any attention & when they did they were so rude & said it's fresh which wasn't true at all, 0 out of 10 horrible horrible takeaway

Food here is very nice BUT they don’t wear gloves or wash hands before touching the food. The cashier took my cash (full of germs) then rolled up my wrap with his bare hands. Put me off my food so had to throw it away when I left the shop! Please put on clean gloves before touching people’s food!

Smellls like poo in the shop . Food was over cooked and burnt chicken . Double cooked my chips . Over charged me for a different drink with meal . Dirty filthy and unclean . Worker picking his nose in the back cooking . Don’t go there . Ewwww

Solid place to get fried chicken. I was in leeds for a train layover and wanted something cheap and casual. I have heard alot about dixies and how good it is so i made my to it. I grabbed a burger meal i forgot which one but it was £6.50 and for what came it was quite a bargin for the price. It was a chicken burger with fries. The burger was tantalising when i took the first bite I was in awe how could a burger be this good. The fries were also very good especially with the house chilli sauce which came free of charge. All in all i will definitely remember this place as one of the best chicken shops i have been to

Chicken was stale and chewy, have 2 of us a few issues the day or 2 after. Wouldn't have eaten of sober!

Came here for lunchtime brunch was greeted by a rat show suprised they are still operating felt sick to the stomach ran for the exit never again. Smell was not the best in the place smelt of urine food was reheated for sure no flavour

Ordered online for delivery and the chicken pieces were rancid. You could smell the rot as soon as you opened the box. There was no way this wasn't noticed in the restaurant. This is the 2nd time I've had issues, and after tonight there won't be another. Unacceptable to serve this to your customers!

I dont live in leeds but every time i come to visit dixy chicken is always my go to place to get food after a night out. Amazing food and the staff are always so friendly

The taste isn't what it used to be, waited for fresh food but it still didn't taste the same as the other dixys around. Is this still even part of the same franchise??

Thought I’d stop off here after doing my shop in town. Place isn’t what it used to be. Back in 05-09, it was prime.

Best food to have aftern a night out!

Still one of my favourite places in city centre. The original Halal SF chicken place. Food is always fresh and spot on. Nice and friendly staff

The mega mix burger meal is magnificent and speaks for itself. At just £5 for a meal with chips and a drink you cannot go wrong. However you must remember to bring cash if your thinking of trying it for yourself !

Loved the chicken from here. Anyone wanting a bargain snack will have to go a long way to beat these guys. Though asking for an additional 70p for other drinks than the pepsi is a bit to far lads, please rethink this one.

Been here a few times and had a burger and wrap so far and the food is so good. The chilli sauce they have around on the tables is so tasty too!

This place is not worth one star. The food was horrible,dry and cold. The staff are rude and get your ordered Wrong and staff can’t understand what you saying. think the manager is very Argumentative. Threatening and make you feeling unsafe, accusing you of stealing when he staff got mix up with your order and act very violent. I will recommend voiding this places will never return or order from again.

Had chicken breast fillet burger meal which came for 4.50 pounds. Tastes good and the chips are also tasty.

Worst chicken burger & chips I ever had! Avoid!. Chicken was dry & flavourless, the chips over fried & hard. Binned 2/3 of it. The place was dead but you could see loads of prefried chicken? Why ? Make it fresh. The guy never asked us if we enjoyed our meal or had any feedback. Was too busy on his phone

Ordered on Deliveroo and I was extremely disappointed when it arrived the chicken looked so good but when I took a bite I couldn’t taste any seasoning the burger was so dry it was like trying to eat the Sahara 🏜 the chips where the only thing that actually had a small amount of salt on them I’m disappointed and I will never order from here again

Horrible service, they called after I ordered and said they ran out of panini so put it in a wrap instead. The food then came and a whole item was missing. I called back to explain, they basically said I was lying and they put it in and there’s nothing they were willing to do. Do not order from this place, they will rob you blind

I only got 1 tub of chilli when I ordered 2 meals and the chips and burger were a bit dry. I'd rather go to chicken village who's food are better and are right next door.

Eaten food from here few times recently fries are hard and you get a tiny portion with a tasteless Pepsi. Their use to have the best fries I loved them.The chicken Burger is decent.

Not even a 1 star. Ordered food for delivery they didn't get the order right as it was incomplete. Not the first time its happened. The chips, burgers were soggy and cold. Chicken pieces were cold still red inside and outside skin was very crusty and hard like its been sat for days. Tasted of cardboard. Threw it in the bin. Worst experience and and complete waste of money will never be going back there again

Ordered multiple different chicken items and found them to be dry and incredibly tasteless, would not recommend, there are better places to get fried chicken in Leeds than somewhere that tastes like a poor KFC knockoff, would not be surprised if the food was frozen.

Chicken ok - chips cold and taste like cardbard. Hit and miss place - some times ok and other times they're totally off expectations . Poor customer service .

I heard good reviews of this place and I went to try it out. I got the mega mix meal and expected to get the burger, some fries, wings and a drink. For some odd reason they put the wings in the burger? I have no idea why which made the burger crumble resulting in a mess, when I confronted them about this they seemed to be caught by surprise acting like this was normal! I wouldn’t recommend.

It’s a skill to get your burger to taste dry and the chips of water. So bland and pretty awful. Even for a late night last resort.

The chicken itself is the best. Its lush. However i ordered the chicken biryani to give it a try and to charge 4.99 for that is a disgrace it was just a small portion of rice with spice on it. 4 tiny extremely gristly bits of chicken in it that were grey. It was absolutely disgusting. Take it off the menu or put nice bits of chicken it in!

Not joking if your in leeds please try out this place you will not be dissopionted like me and my friend got a 3 peice meal at a really good price and let me tell you the skin and the chicken it self was really juicy and tender i think its better than kfc to be honsest

Awful customer service. We made an order of 9 menus and they sent us only the 8 of them and also most of the order was wrong. Nothing was like to what we order in deliveroo. When we call dixy restaurant to let them know of what went wrong and to ask them to send us what was missing, they've told us that it was not their fault and they didn't even care to ask us if we want anything to send us and to resolve this situation. The guy who picked up the phone at dixys was so rude. DON'T ORDER AGAIN.

Just what you need after a few drinks.

Chips were burnt to a crisp. Got my order wrong due to a miscommunication (easily done) but when they replaced it my burger was absolutely stone cold and limp/chewy, not at all crispy. No choice of salad or sauces, you get it as it comes. Mayo on the side runniest mayo I've ever seen. My brother paid for a £4 meal with a tenner and they gave him 50p change, he challenged it and they then gave him a fiver back without saying a word and with absolutely no hesitation which raises questions - was it a mistake or purposely trying to short change drunk people?

I went to Dixy Chicken tonight and dropped a full meal in the takeaway.The manager came out and insisted that I would get a meal back at no extra cost. Amazing customer service, I will return with no hesitations. Ps ( the chicken was great!)

Love this place! Very friendly staff they joke around and overall are alot of fun. The food is fast, tasty, perfectly priced and almost 24 hours!
