Dixy Chicken in Birmingham

Very rude customer service, also tried to rip me off. Topped up by cold chicken wings which are definitely not Dixy Wings as dixy wings a delicious and very tasty and look like real wings not dried up. The drink with the meal was a foreign pepsi can which tasted like water. Never again

Rude staff, food made me ill, bags they give you break easily. Didn’t get to eat any of my food after it all fell out outside the shop, then they tried blaming it on me and said it was my fault when the exact same thing happened to my mate. Not recommended by any means, horrible environment to be in.

I went there today. People were making homophobic comments to me and my friends. Security did nothing about it. I fealt so scared in the situation. I could of been attacked and security was not willing to kick them out !

Bien bien bien, lo han hecho. Jódete las lijadoras de coronel y tu mezcla secreta de hierbas y especias. Dixie en la calle Hurst lo ha robado con seguridad. No estoy seguro de si secuestraron a un miembro del personal o entraron a la caja fuerte, pero definitivamente saben cómo hacer que el pollo se lame los dedos. El personal fue excelente conmigo y atendió todas mis necesidades a pesar de mi evidente discapacidad. Me dio mucho gusto abrazarlos a todos y espero que esto pase al siguiente nivel. the food was awful and much worse than I have previously experienced. I have requested a refund.

The chips were cold the lettuce on the burger was brown and soggy and the chicken on the burger was hard

Ordered the food at 7.30pm and food did not arrive till 9.15. When i called the restaurant they just told me because it is town they are busy...ok. finally when the food arrived i asked for no mayo or cheese on a burger but it had it all and secondly the food was cold. Never again absolutely disgusting food and service.

Took 1 and a half hours to arrive then didn't but even have my whole order.

Rang after it was 15 minuteddlate to be told driver running late, (maybe they forgot how to dial a customer number and let them know?) over an hour later rang again to be told it he thinks it SHOULD be on its way! When it finally arrive food was ok but 2 lots of fries missing, sadly the last time I’ll be using this dixy :(

Almost two hours late and was missing the burger and one of the drinks. The food that was delivered was really good, though.

My food has not even arrived at its been 2 hours since I ordered. Called the restaurant, and they still cannot give me a time of when my food will be delivered. So unhappy, with the service.

Foods have not arrived. Called the restaurant and was told that it will be another half an hour more but it’s more than half an hour already and no food yet. I have ordered from Dixy before and sometimes they did not exclude some orders which we were fine with but this is the worst experience ever. When can I eat??? Where is my food??? how can you ask me to review the order when my food is not here yet???

Very nice food, quick delivery but not enough sauces!

I was charged extra money via cash after I had just paid the charges while paying so a 50p online transaction and 50p delivery but I was phoned before delivery to have an extra 50p for the delivery which I found totally unprofessional and excessive.

ordered 2 whole peri peri chicken but only delivered 1. Called up to the shop and told them, the guy was joking with other people in the shop while putting me on hold. Totally irrespective and impolite!

Delivery driver expected us to walk 10+ minutes to him, said he couldn't find our delivery address and didn't want to leave his car. We explained that we don't know Birmingham (we were visiting and staying in a hotel) took and extra 30 mins for the driver to finally get to us. Food was cold.

I don’t know what Dixy’s have against coleslaw, if you don’t have it take it off your menu!

It was good but took over an hour to deliver

Chips were cold and mushy, chicken was bland and soggy and the hash browns were soaked in grease which made them stodgy

chicken came on time but the whole bag was soggy, the sizzler wings were cold already and the chips have gone soggy. I always order from them but was disappointed at this time.

They missed out a couple of items

I have ordered from Dixys for a long time. Today meal was diffinately 6 out of 6 in all aspects.

Ordered chicken strips and got chicken on the bone instead. But everything else was really nice

Food was lovely, however I thought I ordered meals and only received single burgers. No option on just-eat to actually upgrade to a meal and doesn't specify about it being a single burger, only has the option to add cheese! -_- Disappointing, but the food was nice.

Exceptionally bad delivery service

I am very angry and disgusted by this restaurant. I ordered food and I waited for more then an hour.

The food took over 2 and a half hours and I'm still waiting......

The chicken was off....u can smell the chicken for far and when tasted it it was tangy! My childreb went to bed on an empty stomach after this!

Experience was awful. It missed out a meal they wouldd not answer the phone. Just EAT tried calling no answer. Then randomly calls me back and hour and 10mins later and had no way to deal With customers was very inexperienced and confused and hour after that call they decide to drop one missing meal. The wrap was not put together right it was all done wrong and rushed. And fries where also cold. So overall this dixy is not the answer to having a good dixy meal.

the burger meals didn’t come with the fries or drink which was ordered, and everytime an order is placed there is always an issue with change

How can you explain that we can wait 2 hours to receive the food ? Very bad customer service and no coordination between the restaurant and the drivers. I do not recommend if you don't want to starve before eating was you bought.

It takes too long for food to come

First of all, I have ordered with them a few tones because I love the chilli cheese bites however they never give the portion I’ve paid for. The rest of their food is always cold and unsatisfactory & today I ordered with them they took 2 hours and couldn’t do anything about that didn’t seem apologetic at all so had to cancel. Wouldn’t order from here again

Ordered 5pc received only 3pc aside from that food was not fresh tasted like reheated food only for me to put in microwave which made it worse

Always when I order from Dixy I face problems with delivery because drivers don't know how to get to my place. I don't know why

The delivery was 50 minutes late! The onion rings was really really bad.

I ordered food and was under the impression the delivery was free of charge until I get a call from the. Driver stating there's a delivery charge, I explained it says free delivery on the order and just eat website but he decided to charge me as I paid by card I didn't want to cancel the order, delivery was very late and food not up to standard

Ordered chicken wings (the whole point of the order- wings craving everything else was to meet minimum order), and they gave us DRY chicken strips instead. Sides weren’t given as part of the meal (even though it included sides) Fries were old. Manager and driver was rude and very degrading during conversation. Wasn’t expecting much as it was cheap, but obviously was worse..

food arrived cold, im eating my stale cold fries now, never would order again from here, if your running late at least keep food warm you muppets

Food delivery took over an hour after estimated arrival time. Considering we live five minutes away. It's a joke really. No real empathy from restaurant. It's a shame really.

Amazing service would order again

Having ordered online and it says breast Burger with option of CHESSE, sending a Burger to some one who is allergic to CHESSE is very dangerous who ever despite changing my Burger it came as always having Dixy it is good Chicken but it was awful will not go again

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT !!! First they got our order wrong, I called the driver he said its none of his business call the restaurant, then they said they would send it again straight away. Half an hour later we call up to ask where the food is, they say it is 3-4 mins away and then hang up on me. Another 20 has passed and the food still isn't here so we call back they again say it should be there and hang up. We call back again and they hang up. Then we call back again, another member of staff is put on the phone, we explain the issue and they admit they were never going to send our food because they thought we were scamming them! So they were just going to leave us with an order much much smaller than our own and continue hanging up and pretending that the food we had paid for was on the way. After this call they agreed to send our order. Luckily Just Eat were very helpful when i called them, but the restaurant refused to give any refund or money off. When we finally did receive our order it was still wrong, but by this point i had given up. Will not be ordering from them again.

Can't ask for more. Food arrived early after 30 minutes ..30 mins ahead of scheduled time..and the food was excellent. Burgers are a good size..plenty of fries and it all tasted great

Everything else is good except for a Missing Item that was never recovered even after contacting multiple times. Customer Service Poor.

Really good chicken. Taken one star off as the chips were a bit depressed and soggy, but the chicken was very nice. I had the wrap, burger plus some southern fried chicken and some piri wings. Yeah, I was hungry. Would definitely order again.

i was very annoyed the fact that what i ordered, my instructions were not followed. Firstly i had stated that: to add chilli sauce inside the wrap but instead there was just mayo in there and secondly i ordered hagan daz in which it said tell us which flavour i would like so in the notes page i specifically out VANILLA!!! and i receieved chocolate flavour!! if i had called back it would have taken far too long to deliever again!!!! I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL ABOUT YOUR SERVICE!!!!!

My rating has been low this time to reflect the extra time it took to deliver the food. My peri peri chicken was not presented in the usual way in a yellow box: instead it was in a foil bag, which in my opinion alter the taste slightly. Usually this place is great in all area service etc

Order was delivered 1 hour late. Food was very cold. Rang the restaurant for an update. Said food is on the way. Rang back 30 mins later with still no arrival of food. Dixy did not bother answering the phone. Very disappointed and will not be ordering from them ever again. Shall be requesting a full refund through just eat. Beware don't order from them if you want cold food.

Chicken coating was too hard on chicken felt like it had been fried once again as the batter was hard. peri peri chicken was brilliant as always Delivery driver was brilliant parked a street away and walked to deliver as he couldn't park here too guy for going the extra mile

I was surprised by the quality of the product I received from Dixy last night. I have gone to them for a long time and usually enjoy their food. Last night the chicken wasn't great, not crispy and the flavour was lacking.

Chicken Strips, 3 Pieces Sizzler Wings, 03 Pieces where???

Good but need more attentions. Asked for extra hot sauce and napkins but order came with only 4 hot sauces and without any napkins provided. Ordered corn but it was gone bad, as the texture is very mushy and dark in yellow colour. Big disappointment as I'm looking forward to it. However overall everything is still as good.!

Why do you reheat the chips in the microwave? It's very easy to notice it's been reheated, you'd get better ratings if the chips were fresh.

My food came way earlier than I asked for. However the food was fine, the portions were very generous and tasty as well as more than adequately packaged. I enjoyed it a lot. The delivery man was polite too. I would certainly consider using this place again !
