Dixy Chicken in Birmingham

I ordered 1 hour 5 min before the restaurant closes, yet they never delivered my food. Bunch of SCAMMERS!. Piece of advice fellas, "AVOID THIS BRANCH AT ALL COST!"

Dissappointed Very bad , ordered 3 meals online and whats comes is only 2 meals and 1 burger on it's own without the drink & fries to make matters worse the sauces where put in the fries bag with the burger ,normal the sauces are put separately with each meal. I’m a vegetarian and ordered veggie panini, they served me chicken panini in my takeout order. So we had to go all the way back to shop to get it corrected. The second time they made it, they forgot to put the patty inside the panini, so basically it was just bread with mayonnaise inside. hence, we had to go all the way back again to return it. When we asked, they had the audacity to say that they wouldn’t refund the order after making mistakes twice. Horrible customer service and staff is there arguing with us instead of solving their problem. I was a regular customer but this was the worse experience ever.

Been going here for years the guy on till proper arrogant messed up my order charged me for somrhing else... then had the nerve to tell me to pay more for the same thing I ordered.... What a waste of space he needs to be re evaluated an put back on washing dishes 🙄 Also saw the guy in the back drop a pair of food equipment on the floor and decided was good thing to carry on using them.on the food Lucky wasn't my food..

Used to be a good place not anymore food gone down hill and when u try to speak to them they just walk away

Dixy Chicken on Lady Pool Road is hands down the best! The food is absolutely amazing, and the service is top-notch. I had the chicken strips with chips and a Coke, and it was nothing short of marvellous – the chicken was perfectly crispy and tender, and the chips were fresh and perfectly seasoned. The staff is always friendly and quick, making every visit a pleasure. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for delicious, quality fast food. I’ll definitely be back!

Honestly wish I'd just gone to the chippy up the road, the burger was just the same as what you get there. Hardly any lettuce, way too much mayo, and had to wait for everyone else to be served first. Wouldn't recommend it.

Dixy chicken is back on top and has reclaimed the title for the best place for southern fried chicken strips (tenders) and burgers in B12 and maybe even Birmingham. Their fries have always been better than the local rival Roscoes , but for a while the chicken quality was dropping but not anymore. The chicken tastes amazing again!!! Please please please brothers keep up the consistency and quality,you guys have a winner. May Allah bless you with more barakah. Jazakallah Khair

Dixy is where I always order from especially the fox hollies branch, love the food but only 1 disappoint was that when I had put pepsi I received yo cola which had no taste at all, they should either change the drink menu and not have pepsi on it and also get different alternative to coke or pepsi like ice cola

Food was cold when it arrived and they've increased the prices on just eat which isn't competitive anymore. (Food is now over priced for what you get) sadly won't be ordering from here again.

I ordered from this Dixy Chicken on Uber Eats as it was a 5 Food Hygeine Rating Dixy Chicken. The Food arrived hot 🔥 & fresh. The Fries 🍟 were a bit cold given the traffic from Ladypool Road to Heartlands Hospital 🏥 so perhaps that's understandable they didn't arrive as hot as they could've been. Chicken Steak Burger 🍔 arrived warm. Warm enough to eat & the Chicken Sizzler Wings arrived warm too. Came with Lettuce & Mayonnaise but no Cheese. Everything was packaged 📦 seperately which was a bonus & additional Chilli Sauces, Mayonnaise Sachets & an extra Can of Kinza Cola are always welcome!

I won’t hesitate to say that it’s one of the best Dixy. they have so many options for Grilled food lovers. their full chicken is my favourite and it’s so spot on. every Thursday, I just Love having peri peri chicken. would highly recommend

Never go to this place, very rude and disrespectful staff. Have been there with family and was waiting to give the order but that beard man had got no manner that a family is waiting for 6 minutes to give order but he was busy talking. No service and no manner. Very messy, dirty to sit, very tight place to sit there. I think the ladypool Dixy making Dixy more famous their bad attitude and manner. Honestly just came by chance here otherwise we always go to the small Heath Coventry road Dixy. I’m so upset today about this place staffs attitude and manner.

On Tuesday 09/04/24 I ordered a pizza at 7pm for delivery it was accepted and I paid via debit card, money was taken from my account and I was given 45 mins for delivery to come so 7.45pm but no delivery came I did not receive my food and I phoned a dozen times no one would answer the phone, I was so disappointed as I had someone over to open their fast with me and we didn’t get our order that was paid for and not refunded this was the Ladypool branch.

Excellent chicken however a little too salty in the batter. However chips and service ie everything ok . Price is reasonable and portion size is enough to fill a stomach for a bloke. Clean shop which is massive bonus.

A fast delivery although the food was raw an had to put in air fryer to cook fully.

Really poor pizza, had everyone who had it throwing up one next day. Could have been other things but this was the last thing some are before going to bed. Poor pizza very small sized wings. To top it all off food came cold.

Serving what anyone would expect at a dixy chricken. Don't expect to receive your.order right away. They seem to get a large number of online orders to fulfil. So, get in line!!!

Would give it 0 stars if I could. Absolutely terrible. I ordered the 30 piece chicken wings and every single one of them was a tiny flat piece, not a single drum in all 30 pieces. Total rip off. Save your money. When I spoke to the manager he was arguing back with me saying that all wings are automatically flat and you have to specifically ask for mixed when there is nothing in the menu saying that. The manager says that he doesn't care about any bad reviews but no one should eat here! Not worth it.

Horrible experience absolutely horrible, this place should be called the trash can or so , I tried it for the first time and I thought it will be a normal chicken shop or so but this place after eating their food made a absolutely sick as how horrible it was and undercooked or overcooked it was and also it weird taste it had that didn’t feel like chicken but something close to that, also it’s hygiene it is concerning and how it’s not kept clean or so, an experience to forget and to be avoided by anyone in the future.

I am genuinely sick of this place! i’ve been ordering from here for a while and the last few times my order has somehow gone completely wrong. whether it’s missing items! (usually drinks). delivery drivers stealing food (so they say - my thoughts are they’re not packing the food). they over charge on most things and most things come cold and stale but on this occasion, i’ve ordered (for the last time) and i ordered 5 lemon and herb wings! i then got 8 (ridiculously spicy) wings! i have a severe bad reaction to spicy food, so not only have i not eaten! but not even a bite of a wing has caused me stomach issues! then to find out uber eats won’t refund! so disgustingly disappointing

We ordered two 5 piece spicy sizzler wings. Wasn’t excepting much just you average wings and chips. However, this dixy’s is below standard. Like I’m telling you because the wings had alopecia only one out of the five wings was fully coated. The chips were rock solid and the texture was too stiff. They charged for sauces but there was none there. Many better chicken shops in the area wouldn’t recommend this one

By far the WORST dixy I’ve ever had. The chicken had a nasty rotten smell and was undercooked. The uncle at the till was very rude. If you want to waste your money, that’s the place to go.
