Went last night, fish cooked to order and lovely light batter ordered 1 large and was big enough for 2 people! 4 adults ate from 2 regular size chips but still too many! Plus 1 fish cake and 1 sausage. Thank you very much. Only £18 for a lot of food.

Great chippy, didn't give 5 stars as they didn't update their opening times on Google while they were off on summer holidays for 3 weeks, so I turned up, parked but then it was closed when it was listed as open which wasn't ideal but could have been avoided if they updated their hours online, rather than just putting a notice on the door. Business owner: make sure you update your hours in Google My Business when you are closed outside of the hours you've uploaded to Google!

I ordered fish and chips and a fish cake for my little one although the food was quick it lacked taste all very bland and mushy. It wasn't enjoyable as I would like I did throw the chips away.

The best chippy in bedford!! As a company we love a fish n chip shop Friday, who doesn't! They never fail to deliver, food is always fantastic and hot. Best chip shop curry sauce also. We buy on a weekly basis from them, if you haven't done already try the cheesy chips. Amazing!! Never stingy on the cheese that's for sure haha. All in all great food and service.

Oh! My goodness,I have found the thinnest crispyest and most beautifully golden batter around succulent white cod flesh in Bedford! Don't be in a hurry--- cooked fresh to order! I highly recommend this place 👌

Excellent! Two Friday nights running we have had haddock and chips for four of my family. From the order to the eating it’s been first class. Swift delivery, friendly, the batter is superb not soggy like some and great chips. Highly recommended. We are in Oakley so the right side of town for collection too. Great!!

My cousin & I recently visited Deniz fish bar + tried a potato tornado stack as shown in my photo. I won't deny it, but it really suprised us at how cheap it was (£1.40) & so flavoursome & filled up a hunger attack spot. Sure, we had to wait a few minutes in the unexpected hot weather outside, whilst the gentleman who served us made it fresh, but WOW! It was worth the wait. I've tasted many strange foods before, but this is a game changer. We're yet to sample their other options, but if this starter is anything to go by, then we're be onto a winner everytime. It's not straight forward in locating this hidden gem, but when you do visit, enjoy it, as you'll be pleasantly suprised with the options that lie before you.

We are a stones throw from there but always went somewhere else for fish and chips. Then we got caught in the rain and decided to try them. Absolutely gorgeous. Cooked freshly and smelt like heaven. Will definitely recommend and return soon

Denis is slightly off the beaten track. Not situated in the town centre but on the corner of a quiet estate. A family run shop. The fish is normally cooked to order which means waiting a few minutes. It is worth the wait as fish is fresh and batter nice and crunchy. Portions are generous. A nice friendly helpful shop with great food.

i have to start with a statement, that I generally don't like fish to much. But fish served here is a top class. Very nice portions, very well fried. Meat looks fresh and tastes very well with no problems after few hours, which means they change frying oil as often as it should be done. Place is clean and stuff is very nice. Highly recommended place.

Quality food cooked fresh as you wait. It's well worth waiting for too, because in my opinion it is the best fish and chips in Bedford and possibly the best in Bedfordshire.

Take away chip shop. Traditional fish n chips but does burgers and kebabs,pastries. We had chicken kebab and it was great. Loads of meat in and plenty of salad. Staff are friendly,

I use this place a lot; every one has their own tastes but for me, golden brown chips are preferable to white, undercooked ones. The fish is always well cooked and the portions are generous 5 stars.

Three of us ordered cod and chips for dinner Friday and it was lovely. Tasty fish, nice batter AND decent chips ! Well done to the guys and girls at Deniz. One of our number is from the North where fish n' chips reign - and she thought it was excellent. Yum !

Used to be run as Venus Fish Bar - new owners are very friendly and the chips are still good on a Friday night.

The meal generally was hot and okay, however the Savaloy tasted aweful and we ended up throwing it away, it tasted off!

Just bought food from here tonight... chips look like they are cooked twice and not nice and veggie burger cold.. Not a nice experience from a place I have just used.for the first time.. won't be going back..
