I recently visited Deniz Fish Bar in Bedford and had a wonderful experience. The fish and chips were absolutely delicious – the fish was perfectly cooked with a light, crispy batter, and the chips were fresh, golden, and had just the right amount of crunch. It was a hearty and satisfying meal, full of flavour. What really stood out, though, was the friendliness of the staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. The team went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed, and their welcoming attitude made the experience even better. Cheesey chips were cold and hard and it turned up late. Disappointed as ive never had a problem until now.

Worst Fish and Chips. Tasteless. Old fries. Charge you separately for fish £8 chips small £3 drink £ 1.20 not even gove ketchup for free charge £1 for ketch up. Empty shop. Will not go there again and will not recommend anyone to go to this fish and chips. Expensive Tasteless

Always excellent fish and chips - good portions, freshly cooked to a high standard every time. Family-run and friendly service even when busy (which it normally is). Will happily drive into town any time we want f&c. Easy, free on-road parking is usually available.

When I first moved to Bedford, finding this chippy was such a godsend - and only around the corner from me! It's definitely one of the best I've been to. The owner who runs is amiable and kind as well. I'd recommend anyone to this place for their usual fish and chip needs. You won't be disappointed!

Barely a single chip was crispy. Vast majority were squished and soft. We left probably 80% of them

Only went on a Saturday early evening because of a favourable review. Chips not too crispy, but hot, tasty and well cooked. One medium bag serves two. Cod was a triumph. White, flaky, moist with no skin. Standard portion is all you can eat. Superlative experience. Will desert my usual chippy round the corner, and will return.

Really nice chips, well cooked and fluffy inside. Only 3 quid for the small portion which would have done two people!

Delivery driver refused to come up to my flat door to deliver my food, I had to leave my very young baby alone to collect the food myself! Not acceptable!!

The cod was fried to perfection, soft, juicy and well seasoned with a lovely crisp batter. The scampi fries were tasty and great chips as always.

Always freshly cooked in clean oil, non greasy very hot food. This has and always be my go to for fish and chips since I moved here a few years ago. I highly recommend

Went last night, fish cooked to order and lovely light batter ordered 1 large and was big enough for 2 people! 4 adults ate from 2 regular size chips but still too many! Plus 1 fish cake and 1 sausage. Thank you very much. Only £18 for a lot of food.

Great chippy, didn't give 5 stars as they didn't update their opening times on Google while they were off on summer holidays for 3 weeks, so I turned up, parked but then it was closed when it was listed as open which wasn't ideal but could have been avoided if they updated their hours online, rather than just putting a notice on the door. Business owner: make sure you update your hours in Google My Business when you are closed outside of the hours you've uploaded to Google!

Extremely long wait. Restaurant called to apologise for the inconvenience, explained the cause of delay. Wonderful customer service displayed by front of house, however Just Eat seemed as though they did not want to keep the establishment or customer updated on the arrival of courier I waited over 2 hrs for my food to be delivered. Unacceptable

Went there once, ordered medium chips, they gave me enough chips to feed my whole family. Twice. And they were nice too!

Come on really!! YOU CHARGE OVER 4 QUID FOR CHIPS WHEN ITS OBVIOUS YOU BUY FROM THE SUPERMARKET SAME AS ONION RINGS + GARLIC MUSHROOMS ETC!! Same as canned drinks which says not to be sold separately. Fish was 8 90 few months ago now 10.60 that's more than inflation. Where's the deals?

If you want to see the fish in the box you always have to write a note. otherwise they just wrap it in paper and send it and it gets cold.

Great food as usual. Only issue is the sausages were wrapped with the chips. My wife doesn’t eat meat so had to be selective as to the chips she ate.

I ordered fish and chips and a fish cake for my little one although the food was quick it lacked taste all very bland and mushy. It wasn't enjoyable as I would like I did throw the chips away.

Battered sausage stale like it had been sat on the side for a week. Savaloy soggy like It had been sat in water for a week. Chips were ok. Fish fingers were ok. Cod was dry and textured like cardboard.
