Ladies changing rooms refreshed and updated January 2024. Hotel area and rooms are good - just what you would expect from an international hotel chain. The Delta rebrand appears to be a success

What a little gem. Needed accommodation following an event close to trafford centre and found this. Amazing and only disappointed that we didn't book the weekend! Room was fab, we had a family room and well equipped and clean! Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice and even gluten free options in good supply. Really nice atmosphere. We'll definitely book again.

The place gives off an expensive well healed vibe, and the reception staff, night porters, conference staff are all really pleasant and helpful, but underlying all that positivity is just a bit of wear and tear, and lack of attention to detail.

Stayed one night for a friends 30th birthday nearby. Hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Smells amazing which ever corridor you walk up... anyway I digress. Staff were fantastic. Little disappointed with the room as it lacks the Oomph that the rest of the hotel has. Could do with bringing up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. We unfortunately were placed in a room next to a couple that were inconsiderate. Music blasting with shouting and banging etc. We raised this to the staff who immediately moved us to another room as this wasn't the first complaint against this couple. We appreciate the move, but for inconsiderate guests I would prefer if they were removed rather than us having to move all our items at 11:30 at night. After the move we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was also very nice. 4/5 just for the experience we had moving, and that the rooms could do with a little updating.

The hotel was nice and the grounds were nice. It’s nicely situated and had a free EV charger which was handy. The only downside was me and my partner were situated in a room opposite the noisiest family ever. We could constantly hear the kids banging around and knocking on the door at 7am. This was infuriating, as I was awoken to the symphony of running children. Apart from that, the stay was lovely.

Used the hotel to meet a colleague and a customer. Car park was free but busy. Great place to hold adhoc meetings with power and free WiFi.

I stayed at this hotel and booked it with Spabreaks.com as a package, which included hotel overnight stay, full body massage, dinner and breakfast. The food was amazing and the dining area had a great atmosphere with valentines decorations everywhere and a musician playing the piano as we ate food. The food was 10/10 couldn’t fault it and the cocktails were amazing. However the hotel room I stayed in is what let the place down, I expected better it was below average and very old school; it looked like it needed new furniture a lick of white paint and a full renovation in the bathroom. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna area was nice but just ram packed with people but I expected this as it was valentines weekend so I can’t really say I didn’t expect it. One thing I will say is that I felt as if I had to keep asking questions to the hotel staff as nothing is really explained in depth at the check in, I also didn’t get a leaflet handed to me with general information about restaurant times, activities and the area of Worsely etc but the hotel and parking is very easy to find.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Delta Hotels Worsley Park Hotel & Country Club, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the warm welcome from the friendly and professional staff, setting the tone for an exceptional experience. I was fortunate to stay in Room 363, which was both spacious and comfortable, offering all the modern amenities expected of a high-quality hotel. The room was well-appointed, featuring a large, comfortable bed, a well-designed workspace, and thoughtful touches such as USB charging ports conveniently located beside the bed—a small but significant detail that enhances the guest experience. The hotel's bar and restaurant were outstanding, offering a fantastic selection of food and drinks in a stylish yet relaxed setting. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Breakfast was a particular highlight, with an extensive selection of fresh, high-quality options catering to every taste. Another standout feature of the hotel is its pool and spa facilities, which are accessed through the golf club. The walk to the spa is an experience in itself, as you pass through a corridor steeped in sporting history, adorned with framed football and rugby shirts—a detail that adds a unique character to the hotel. Once at the spa, the facilities are excellent, providing a perfect place to relax and unwind. Overall, my stay at Delta Hotels Worsley Park was exceptional, combining comfort, outstanding service, and top-tier amenities. I would love to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and welcoming retreat.

Absolutely fantastic and scenic hotel, great for families. Has free parking, lovely buffet breakfast to start the day off, great pool for the kids to swim, and really decent sized rooms. Staff are also really lovely! It's around an 8-10 min drive from the trafford centre and pretty local to most attractions.

Good mix of classy British and modern. The pub around the corner has a very good menu. I had fish and chips.

Amazing experience, lovely staff , so peaceful stay

After a long 4.5-hour commute after doing a 9 hour day in the office, I arrived at the Marriott Bonvoy Delta Hotel in Worsley, exhausted but optimistic. Check-in was a breeze, thanks to a super friendly reception team member who got me sorted in no time. My room was fantastic – spacious, with a big, comfy bed, a huge TV, and a modern feel that made it clear it had been recently refurbished. Things were off to a great start. Feeling starving, I headed to the restaurant and ordered the “Half Rack of Ribs and Chicken Wings with Fries” from the menu, labeled as a “substantial” option. Five minutes later, my plate arrived, and my optimism took a hit. The “half rack of ribs” was barely larger than the three wings stacked on top – and the wings weren’t even full wings, just single segments! The portion was so small I had to laugh. That said, the flavors were excellent. The ribs were tender, the wings were tasty, and the fries were decent, but calling it substantial is a bit of a stretch. It was more like a substantial starter than a proper meal. Honestly, I could’ve eaten three portions and still had room for dessert. To sum it up: a great hotel with amazing rooms and lovely staff, but if you’re famished and ordering this dish, prepare to leave with room to spare.

I stayed in this hotel for a single night and wouldn’t come back. For background we had attended a wedding in the area and had booked to stay in this hotel. Whilst some staff were helpful; others were very dismissive. We felt uncomfortable trying to raise our concerns as they didn’t seem to care and at times we felt that this treatment may likely have been due to our family not being Caucasian. We did wonder whether the behaviour we were witnessing was racially motivated. When mistakes were made even the shift managers would deny them until we produced receipts of purchase; especially when we had paid for breakfast and their systems did not reflect this. The staff at the Cast Iron restaurant only further worsened the way we felt with their dismissive and rude behaviour. We certainly didn’t feel welcome. An exception was the staff at the bar who were most friendly and helpful and always conducted themselves in a kind and courteous manner. We also noted the whilst the rooms appeared superficially clean, as close look revealed this not to be the case (as evidenced in the picture of the pillow below). We didn’t bother reporting this as we didn’t feel that we would be heard. Overall this particular hotel falls very short of the standard that myself and my family know Marriot and the Bonvoy brand for.

Hotel is as good as you might expect but the staff are exceptional.

Didn't stay overnight but here for a wedding. The venue is gorgeous. Food was nice. Decor was lovely for the wedding. Only piece of feedback was they didn't change the table clothes for the later evening party after dinner so there was a lot of stains. That said it was still a great evening. The staff were great especially Leanne who was so lovely and attentive. My wife has some food intolerances and Leanne went above and beyond to help - she even took photos of food labels to help my wife as much as possible (Leanne offered to do this!) she by far made our evening.

Stayed here recently and liked it. I thought the quality of the rooms and amenities weren't what we paid for, but nonetheless we enjoyed it. It was the details like the lack of slippers and gown in the room for the spa. And the room itself was pretty dated. The spa was great though

Had a family meal here. Great food and service in ideal surroundings.

Delta Hotel Worsley Review I recently stayed at the Delta Hotel with my wife and two children, and I must say, this hotel is one of the best I've experienced in the UK for a long time. The hotel was very well-managed, making our stay relaxed and enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, equipped with two double beds, and exceptionally clean. On our first night, we dined at the hotel's restaurant, the Cast-Iron Grill. Based on my past experiences, hotel restaurants can be hit or miss, but this one was exceptional. The quality of the food was very high. My wife ordered the ribeye steak while I opted for the fillet steak. Both steaks were succulent and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the chimichurri and peppercorn sauces. The staff in the restaurant were also very nice and friendly. The buffet breakfast offered in the hotel was impressive as well, with a good selection of hot and cold foods and drinks. I particularly enjoyed the hot breakfast; all items were fresh and served hot. The hotel WiFi was high-speed and reliable. The pool was a bit crowded since the hotel hosts its own fitness and golf club, finding a spot in the changing rooms was somewhat difficult. As for the bar, it was very relaxing, the staff were friendly and they offered a good selection of beers. The hotel's location was very convenient. Just 10 minutes from Manchester city center and easily accessible from the motorway. It's also next door to a fantastic pub called the Worsley Old Hall, which I highly recommend (please check my other review for that pub). Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would absolutely recommend it. I plan to return with my family soon. Thank you, Delta Hotel, for an amazing weekend!

Very good golf resort, especially for families. Its very green and spwcious with courteous staff, Good leisure club, gym and swimming pool and regular housekeeping. We stayed during Christmas 2024 (last 3 days) and we loved the decorations across the resort Will recommend it for stay Pros + very sophisticated ambience in the commonnareas and room + spacious rooms + housekeeping was done regularly + very good breakfast + spacious restaurant + good menu + golf course is very well designed Opportunity areas - very limited vegetarian options (only 1 Mains in the dinner menu) - breakfast spread was same all the 3 days we stayed. Wish there was some variation - no shower gel in the men's room on both the days I went for swim

Nice hotel grounds and hotel. Friendly staff. Good breakfast and bar food. Except for the fire in our room, due the kettle plug (which the hotel dealt with promptly), the room itself was good, however, the location of our room (for a family) was terrible: next to front entrance - because there was a Christmas party we had a constant base sound and people outside our room having a cigarette/vape. It sounded like they were having fun, which I don’t begrudge - but poor location for a family with young children. I did write an email (off the back of the hotel email apologising for the fire) about this, but I have not heard back; I also mentioned it during check out. I would stay at this hotel again, but I would certainly ask for a room away from the entrance.

What a lovely hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful and due to a mobility issue had to curtail my stay by one day and without asking the front desk staff asked the manager for a days refund which was duly paid into my bank, couldn't ask for a better service, well done Delta.

I am disappointed with the receptionist named Ethan he was very rude arrogant and did not let me into the pool.I haven't seen such rudeness like today for a long time. I live near Worsley and I often come here to the swimming pool for a fee £15. Every time I was here there was no problem to use the swimming pool.the receptionist didn't let me into the pool today, claiming I wasn't a hotel guest and didn't have a membership card.

Dreadful. Tired, dated bedrooms and public areas. Dirty tables in bars. Noisy guests running up and down corridors. Going to bed to the sound of the next room using the toilet. Wooden door between our room and next room (FFS) Even at half the price, it would be awful. Avoid.

Feel like I was miss sold the gym membership. I travel past 4 gyms just to go here as I wanted something a little more luxury compared to the normal gyms at £10 per month. I'm paying £82 per month at the marriot gym & it definitely isn't worth it. The changing rooms are the worst. Literally no cubicles so if you're body conscious & don't want to strip naked in front of others then don't sign up. No private showers. £82 per month & have to share showers with everyone wtf.. £82 per month & bumped into a drug dealer who also goes there. Do not let the price fool you. This gym is on the outskirts of Little Hulton. This gym should cost around £15 per month not £82. Pool is always full with swimming lessons. £82 pool shouldn't be let out to swimming lessons. Also a £100 joining fee the total of £182 to join for the first month with the standards of a £15 gym. Infact they'res private cubicles & showers in the cheaper ones. I went to a camp site recently & slept in a tent. The site had a main shower building in the middle. Rows of cubicles each with a private shower inside, also a bench & cupboard all inside the cubicle. Unfortunately the camp site facilities were a lot more posher that the marriot. Absolutely had my pants pulled down at £82 per month. So not only do I feel like I had my balls slapped at the desk where I signed up, You're also at risk of having your balls slapped in the changing rooms. £82 is absolutely disgusting for that standard of gym

Lovely big clean rooms, staff helpful.

Had a family get together over an afternoon tea. Lovely surroundings, excellent service. Afternoon tea was nice though tea wasn't included if you had the prosecco option! I would have liked another sandwich without anything creamy in it because afterwards I felt a bit queasy, certainly I didn't need to have eaten everything but I was hungry and afternoon tea isn't that filling. Overall it was a good time out for us all. Not sure I'd go again as it's quite pricey.

Didn't stay here I'm a leisure club member but I can assure anyone wanting looking for accommodations this is the place to be

Dreadful so-called "accessible" room: • over-bath shower • grab handles badly placed • non-slip bathmat had to be requested separately • No AC • no hot water in wash-basin • poor lighting • poor choice of tea/coffee in room • no minibar • "Wardrobe" was about 3" deep • No USB sockets • only one 3-pin socket (nowhere near bed) Staff tried to be helpful. Dinner was good, as was choice of breakfast items.

Played the golf course only. Really well kept faraway and green, very friendly staff made me feel welcomed. Good putting area. The course was good and interesting, not just a drive, hybrid, chip and putt, some thought does need yo go into some holes which was good. Well worth the £35 afternoon rate. Would recommend to try.

An unpleasant stay from the moment of arrival, staff were unhelpful at check-in, didn't explain the facilities, WiFi etc, the room was fairly basic and tired and furniture needed to be moved and a lamp unplugged to access a power socket near the bed. On the second day, the (fairly basic) bathroom had dozens of ants crawling out of a crack between the tiles in the (upstairs) room. It was disgusting. We told reception a little later but nothing was done, I don't think anyone even went to look; they certainly didn't clean... not surprising given that there was a small piece of plastic under the desk for the entirety of our 3 night stay, so cleaning is clearly not a high priority there... Needless to say, it spoiled our weekend and we wouldn't even consider recommending it to anyone...

Beautiful hotel. Some aspects of rooms a bit tired eg bathroom but didn't spoil the experience. I did find an empty pack of biscuits in my room when I checked in so clearly the cleaning staff didn't clean properly. Breakfast and facilities are very good. I recommend staying here and would stay again.

Quiet place, except the engine that was running from time to time, close to the room I had.

Myself and a friend drove up from the south to play a couple of rounds of golf. Not the courses fault, but absolutely noway it should have been open due to the amount of rain there had been, it clearly wasn't a option for the ground staff to go out and cut the course. It was obvious that they clearly just wanted to take the money for the rounds we'd paid for. We ended up spending time looking for good shots in the fairways that were buried into them due to the softness and the damp ground which ended up with us really disliking the round and vowing never to go back. Only play when there has been no torrential rain and the course has be cared for. Totally understand there's not much the staff could have done, but no one seemed to care about the complaints.

Nice hotel with comfortable beds. The gym and’s pool were the highlights for us.

Lovely hotel with a nice vibe. Food was good, service great and staff friendly. Its in a nice location and close to a number of local pubs if your fancy takes you.

When you call, expect to make at least 5 choices on the voice menu before maybe speaking with a 'live' agent. It's taken me 2 days to get nowhere with a request to confirm a reservation. Therefore, hope for the best and if all else fails, book into the Premier Inn nearby.

Amazing staff, rooms were great comfort and room refreshments. The pool and sauna is great! Free of charge when staying. The sports bar is good but sometimes closes early (10pmish) so had to go to the main bar which is just as good but no TVs.

Top place to east, drink and stay - staff are attentive and friendly - good atmosphere - great location.

Beautiful hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pool and facilities were all very nice,in need of a few updates, but there was a sign stating there is going to be renovation in 2024, child friendly,which is not often seen. The evening meal and breakfast were delicious, and the children's menu had plenty to choose from. The only thing that let this hotel down was the room. We stayed in room 156, which was supposed to be a family room. It was more like a double room with a small double squashed in, and when I say squashed in, it was squashed in against a radiator,the bed and pillows were so uncomfortable I thought about sleeping in the chair at the other side of the room. Very disappointed 😞

I was only here for a short while, but I found the staff very attentive and very friendly and welcoming whilst still being extremely professional in their interactions. I was especially pleased with the fact that they returned Christmas wishes with no qualms; I think too many places nowadays use the watered down. Happy holidays, which I find off-putting the food was good all in all. I would definitely recommend that you check the place out yourselves, and you can even golf (if that's something that you like, myself i like what that famous person said "golf ruins a good walk") they have a gym no doubt they are fully equipped ( I get my exercise writing these reviews lol)
