Took my kid and misses to the establishment got curry goat and and ox tails plus some fried chicken me my kid and pregnant partner have now got food poisoning

The staff was rude, the food was not good the curry goat all bones, too much foolery. Last but not least it has given me a bally ache which has lean to the ru s ure

How are you selling food with mould on it? Yet you wrote the expiry date to be the 02/07/2024. Are you sure? It looks like it expired a couple days ago. That’s disgusting. I don’t even want to eat the other items in case they’re expired too.

The Soups Are Delishous, The Oxtail Dinner, Mouth Watering, The Curry Goat, Superb, The Guinness Punch, And Carrot Punch Very Well Made. I've Bought Friends There, And They Continue To Enjoy The Taste Of Jamaica Here In The UK...Great Service.

This review is for the Delly on Whitehorse Road near the Tesco express. I thought we had past this by now. Jamaican restaurants having a bad attitude when you go in. From when I was a child this had been happening, we need to do better. They used to say the ruder the staff the better the food, that was not the case this time around. Rice was hard, plantain was cold and staff was rude. Except for the male member of staff that greeted me when I walked in, he was nice. I usually order online but as I was passing by, I thought I would go in person. Arrive a few small mins after 1400 asking if they have a lunch menu. The lady serving was quite abrupt and rude with her answer to tell me no and that it finished at 1400. As rude as she was I though fair enough it is technically after 2 and I proceeded to order food anyway. I was very clear and precise with what I wanted (plain rice, oxtail and banana cake). At this point she upsells and says plantain is £1.50, I wasn't actually asked if I wanted plantain but I said OK anyway. My order gets bagged up and I go to pay £11.50. The card reader seems to be playing up, I had no problems with my card elsewhere. The response from the member of staff was "hmmmm maybe you you have no money in your account", I assured the woman that I did in fact have money in the account and my method of payment worked in the Tesco minutes before. Shortly after the pay pad was reset and the payment went through. I then asked if the cake was in there. The response was oh you asked for cake, I said yes I did right at the start. The cake was then added for a further £2.50.

The new Delly's has moved a few doors down. The lady that served me was very polite. The menu was clearly displayed with prices. The food was on point. My only complaint was that there were no spinners in the oxtail. Overall 5 stars. Will be going back again.

When ordering online they always seem to ‘forget’ multiple items in your order. Terrible service, I have never ordered from them and received the complete order I've paid for. They take your money and give you half of the items you've ordered. They are running a scam. You want to support black business but how can you when you're quick to take the money and not deliver the items. If you want food from here visit IN PERSON.

The girl serving me and my friend today (12 September), was extremely rude unhelpful and full of attitude ….absolute disgrace!!! She was clearly bothered by our presence and kept on rolling eyes every time we’ve asked questions. I clearly said I wanted something vegetarian and asked about soups, I was told there was chicken soup or pea soup so ordered the pea soup. She didn’t bother telling me that it had lamb in it!!! The rest of food was according to my friends tasty and fresh… I will not recommend this place to anyone because of very poor customer service!

Walked past at lunchtime - the food looked good so took a browse. Very nice fish cakes. Will try the lunch deal next time.

There were no menus up on display so you knew what there was or prices. The food on display was covered and minimal was on show. The member of staff serving was extremely unprofessional with lack of professional skills and knowledge. She refused to serve myself and other customers separately as it was a waste of her time. The food that we ordered was not up to standard, the fish was over cooked and chewy and the vegetable Pattie was dry and tasteless with a hint of chilli. Really disappointed on how we treat our own kind when we should support our own black businesses.

Be careful these people don't give you a portion of bones when you order from them Terrible. Wouldn't recommend.

The service at this place is trash. I've tried to order from here three times now and every single time they cancel the order, without giving any explanation as to why. I won't bother trying again.

I have ordered jerk chicken and mac and cheese from quite a few restaurants but Delly's is the best. I love, love their mac and cheese. Just would like a bit more jerk sauce with my chicken but I will continue to keep going to this restaurant.

I wouldn’t even give this a 1 star! I ordered three chicken soups and one fried fish meal with rice and gravy. The delivery turns up with all the soup in the bag. Which two were red pea soup! The fried fish meal wasn’t actually fried fish it was fried chicken with no gravy! Absolutely disgusting! How can you take someone’s money and palm them off with other items. Never again will I order from here!

Lovely little hidden gem full of tasty and affordable Jamaican comfort food. Try it you won't be disappointed.

OK...so I was in Croydon and needed some caribbean food pronto. Satnav told me this was the closest place with full 5* rating. I ordered the fried fish, mac n cheese, some chilli wings and salt fish fritters. A day later I'm still in shock....this was the best tasting Caribbean takeaway food I've had in a while. Everything was cooked perfectly, great portions and flavour. The mac n cheese PIE was out of this world. I started slowing down my eating to figure out exactly how they had baked it to such perfection! The fried fish was lovely. Being Bajan I usually find Jamaican salt fish fritters cannot come close to Bajan fish cakes as they're usually too oily. These fritters were delightful, moreish and just right for fritters. The chilli Wing flavour was plentiful and finger lacking good...literally! I'm from East so now I need a good reason to go back!! Well done guys! Loved it!
