Delight Chicken in Luton

I only went in here because it was empty and the nearby eateries were busy. Now I can see why! I'm convinced the favourable reviews are fake, e.g. one says there's loads of parking when there's hardly any. It took over thirty minutes to serve me chicken and chips. When it came, it was poorly presented and with serviettes under the chicken itself, all messy and useless. Incidentally, I was asked if I wanted rice or chips and when I chose rice, the assistant said they don't do rice. Then why are you asking? Why do you have pictures offering biriany? He asked me if I wanted hot or mild sauce, I opted for the latter and the food came with no sauce at all! The assistant was miserable, with no professional aura. Four times he asked me "eat in or take out?". Open your ears. The chips were just about edible, not nice, but the chicken was like something had died of natural causes, badly prepared and been scraped off the pavement, the food was poorly presented. The ambience of the place was of a chavvy dive and not very clean. I won't be going there again.

Lemon and herb burger was pleasantly hot, though unaware of food quality I entered to some if the best customer service I've ever had ( thanks to Deja ) even to group toher than those I walk I with he maintained his professionalism and was a delight to deal with

This place serves really good comfort food. The chicken is cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fries are also great, fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. You get a lot of food for the price, so it's a good deal. Overall, it's a great place to go if you're looking for some good comfort food.

Some of the pieces of chicken tasted off and had pink bits. The fries were recooked so it tasted dry and crunchy. Not going to come back again.

The chips are horrible, either they are under-cooked or they haven't been changing the oil on the fryer. Left a really bad taste after that, never again ! AVOID

I had a highly disappointing experience with Delight Chicken through an Uber Eats order. They had a buy one get one free offer, so we ordered 2 meals, expecting 2 additional meals for free. However, when my colleague arrived with the meals, we discovered that they had only provided sauces for the meals we paid for. The free meals had no sauces at all. This is incredibly stingy and not what we expected from a reputable takeaway. We called to get more information, and the staff confirmed that they didn't include the sauces for the free meals because the cost of the chili and mayo was too high. This explanation is absurd. Why put an offer on if you can't afford to fulfill it properly? Reducing the meal size and withholding sauces just because they were part of a promotion is unprofessional and misleading. Delight Chicken, you need to reconsider how you handle offers and customer satisfaction. This experience has left a sour taste, and I won't be ordering from you again. Bunch of imbeciles. The food here is fantastic! Their strip burger meal was fresh and packed with flavour! Their chips are very cooked to perfection. I would strongly recommend for anyone to try this place and it is affordable too.

I have ordered 8 boxes chicken biryani last night for collection and bought them to norwich. All 8 of them was completely spoiled and smells very bad. Even the biryani was worst. I dont recommend anymore.

The food was not good at all. I ordered 4 boxes of 1 pc 3 wings with fries and the chicken in all boxes has a very bad foul smell . and i never tasted such a low quality fries from anywhere. Tasted 2-3 wings and we throw rest of all in to garbage. !!!! Waste of money .!

I was order a 8 boxes of chicken biryani yesterday on 03/04/2024 in Delight chicken but the biryani was getting bad smell i don’t think it was one day biryani it’s been like 2 days r one day biryani I didn’t face this kind of experience in my life

Best fried chicken in Luton by far. Batter was crispy and seasoned nice, chicken was succulent not dry like most, hot wings will eventually put KFC out of business!

I'm a regular customer at Delight Chicken Restaurant, and I must say that their Hyderabadi chicken dum biriyani is a real treat. At just £5 with two chicken pieces, it's not only affordable but also incredibly satisfying. This biriyani never fails to fill my stomach, and the flavors are commendable, especially considering the price. While I'm a big fan of their food, I'm giving it four stars because there's always room for improvement. Perhaps a little more consistency in spice levels or additional side options would make it even better. Nevertheless, for a quick and tasty meal that won't break the bank, Delight Chicken is definitely worth a visit.

We are regular customer but staff don’t want to save what customers need they will deciding what they need to sell. We request to get plane rice but the lady work with them she gave to us Chiken rice instead plane rice I try to call owner but he is not answering the call . Even i sand this photo .. Bad customer service and same owner also . Every time they save food to the customer it’s time out don’t buy food from them

First thing they are not serving biriyani it's some kind of masala rice. They will use only chicken drumsticks in biriyani which is worst. They should have used thigh as well. When ever i order i use to say extra spicy what they do is they add oil along burnt part of masala

Had a biryani this afternoon after so many friends of mine recommending the restaurant . And the fact is it’s not a biryani, just some spicy rice that’s it. I don’t understand how people can even compare this to a hyderabadi biryani. There’s little to no resemblance.

Visited first time with my kids. Bbq wings were so good and first time my daughter finished all her food. Chips are very tasty. Will definitely visit again when in town next time.
