Great place for proper chips, none of these fries etc these are great. Proper potato chips, do a great salt n pepper chips as well sooo tasty 😋

Salt and pepper chicken is dry and chewy always taste like the chicken has been sat around for a week every time i give them another chance they always disapoint

Been going here for years best chippy round here and prices are a lot cheaper than others never go any where else for my chippy .

Absolutely disgusting non edible food , I ordered and within 5 minutes of it being delivered it had to go straight in the bin , soggy disgusting horrible food don’t know how you can sell this to people

I live locally to Delicious Garden and get from there regularly. With my AuDHd I prefer the same thing over and over (iykyk) so I go with Salt & Pepper chips. Or a snack like jumbo sausages for my dogs sometimes. I’ve never had an issue with them and love the crunchy ones too (chips). Always have a nice kick to them. My partner is fond of the crispy sweet chilli beef. In my opinion the prices are reasonable and not as expensive as most of these newer/modern food places. I don’t think I’d like everything on the menu, but it does the job. The foods okay the staff are lovely and there isn’t an atmosphere cos you can’t sit in an eat. Just a blue bench to wait for your food.

The food from here is disgusting. When I called to explain that the noodles in both chow meins were mushy and watery, the sweet and sour chicken was limp and tastless. The chips were stale. He said he would refund me providing I haven't eaten it. I advised I had a few mouthfuls obviously, I needed to try it. I returned the food and was advised by his wife that she would only refund half. So I had to pay £26, have no food and only get £12.50 back? Make it make sense? My point here is. The food is not worth the money and managment are horrible individuals.

I love the customer service and I love the food but when it's prepared by the old lady. The couple's food tastes a bit somehow.I think they need cooking lessons from the old lady. I would recommend going to this place when the old lady is around.

Go to chinese in Newton heath if you want decent chippy chips too. Prices are really good for portion size.

Sorry delicious garden, just got a special chowmein, whole lot of noodles, no veg, and a little bit of meat, not very tasty and nothing special. I normally go to magic wok, but they're close on a Wednesday. In comparison MW, chowmein is way better. Maybe DG should order a chowmein from there and taste what I'm talking about. Lots of room for improvement. I don't think I'll be returning.

A good local Chinese takeaway with hot, freshly-cooked and tasty food. Large portion sizes for the hungry and cheaper options as well if it helps stretch your budget. We've used Delicious Garden several times now and have always enjoyed our meals. I just wish they did pineapple chicken, my favourite! Their Fillet in ginger and onion makes up for it, though.

Simon the owner I've known him for years everything he cooks fresh great size portions ,I never had a bad meal form there, it's always nice and clean with screen protection up for customers safely he's always obliging and gives customers satisfaction

Takes a while to get the food, but worth the wait. Not oily or greasy like many Chinese places. They fed us well when our son was in NICU and we didn't have time to cook. Staff is always nice and friendly and we are repeat customers.

Salt and pepper chicken has to be the best i have had in a long time. And i eat a lot of takeaways. This is now my goto chippy when on day shift. No complaints from work colleagues about it either.

Having grown up in the Chinese takeaway business I've been searching for a decent Chinese takeaway since I left the industry. This is the first place thats come close to giving me the same quality food I used to love eating as a kid.

The lady gets the orders right but the prices go up like salt chips are £1 £1.20 and now £1.30 the salt AND pepper goes up more any way the food I'd yummy I pass it when I go to my club and my mate and I go in for chips. Edit:We have it like everyday

Just called in for a chip barm. Young man was on the counter which is always a bad sign. Got back to the office and it went straight in the bin. How can you get chips wrong?

I was served salt and pepper chicken wings that were off. You could smell it just by breaking off one chicken wing. The Chinese lady who could barely speak English became rude and wouldn't have any of it. Sad thing is we'd been going for years and our treatment means we will be finding a new Chinese takeaway.

I've worked around the corner from here for nearly 5 years but never visited it. After 5 years I reckon it must be OK if it is still open so I ordered a Special Fried Rice for my lunch. The meal was quite enjoyable, not too dry like some Special Fried Rice's are and had plenty of meat and two large prawns included. I would definitely visit again next time I forget my sandwiches.
