Deli Nene in Bromley

Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to Birol and the whole team at Deli Nene. They honestly made our mother's 70th birthday special. We had the private hire room for dinner. We were a group of 45. The food and cocktails are amazing 😋 The decor is modern, fresh and beautiful. If I could give 10 ⭐️'s I truely would for the service. All the staff are so friendly and accommodating. We visited a few times during organising the celebration. Staff always had smiles on their faces and a warm and welcoming greeting. Birol could not do enough to make the evening special and it was greatly enjoyed by all. We have even booked to go back for Mother's Day dinner! 😃

Attended a birthday celebration here, my first experience of this restaurant. I was impressed with the excellent friendly service, the food was flavoursome and well presented. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for somewhere to host your birthday or simply fancy an evening out.

Lovely find in Beckenham. Relaxed feel (my table was just a wee bit cold from the open door, otherwise perfect) lovely staff. I had the falafel sandwich and it was divine!

I will not recommend nor will I return I had high hopes for Deli Nene, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The food was completely overcooked—burnt to the point where it was barely edible. On top of that, the flavor was nonexistent; everything was bland and lacked any seasoning. To make matters worse, the prices were way too high for the low quality of food we received. Definitely not worth it. I won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal.

Lovely atmosphere and great food.

Very friendly always welcoming and kind. It's a great place for little ones too.

Eggs were very under cooked and snotty. Bacon looked pale pink, undercooked with the fat still soft and gross. Sausages were over peppery, waiter could have advised on the spice levels. Only two small mushrooms that looked and tasted boiled instead of fried. Beans luke warm and one tiny bit of toast. Very dissapointing as we feel the food quality went majorly downhill. Always loved our breakfast here but won’t return. 😩🥺

Came here for a meal yesterday, party of 7 without a booking. From the second we walked in there was jokes and laughter from the barman (didnt catch his name). we were made to feel very welcome. The restaurant was spotless and the decor was on point, Sort of modernly rustic. The atmosphere was warm and homely and we were seated immediately. And then along came our server Rio. Constantly smiling, well presented, attentive and funny. He was very helpful in explaining their fairly large menu which is sometimes a worry when it comes to quality of food. We ordered many different dishes from across the menu and EVERYTHING was fresh, the various meats were cooked to perfection and exactly how we requested, beautifully presented and the flavours were even better. The food was honestly wonderful. The prices were very reasonable. The starters and mains were very generous as were the cocktails. Our whole party agreed that it was one of the best dining experiences any of us had had. I really can't say enough to sing their praises. Thank you guys your whole team should be very proud. The only downside I can think of is I asked for the manliest cocktail they had and I didnt get a single sparkler or pink umbrella in my drink 😆 (inside joke) Definitely a massive 100 out of 10 with a few gold stars 🌟 and a high five In the immortal words of the terminator, "I'll be back"

I have been visiting Deli Nene for a number of years. Love the atmosphere, the professional service and improvements done over the past few years. Lovely team with the can-do attitude makes me wanna come back often.

We cannot thank Birol and his team enough! We used their gorgeous back room for our engagement party for 55 guests and it was PERFECT. All members of staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was great. All our guests are saying what a great night it was. The drinks are great the food was delicious. We will definitely be back again for the next celebration!! This place never disappoints! Whatever I've tasted so far was perfect, and their cappuccino with coconut milk is particularly lovely. The atmosphere of the restaurant adds a lot to the experience, let alone the service. If in Beckenham, you must give them a try!

Came here for the first time. This place is excellent. Food service ambience was top. I will be back Fardeen was excellent and made the experience even better

I cannot rate this place highly enough, the service is impeccable and this is why I’m a regular. Today I had the salmon for main and tex mex for starter. The fish was cooked to perfection. Fardeen served us and as always was attentive, funny and knowledgeable. Birol, made sure we were well taken care of, they always manage to make you feel special even if the restaurant is busy.

Nice place and well decorated. The place is also restful, it is not noisy. The food is excellent and fast service. There is plenty of choice for vegetarians. The staff is also friendly. We will definitely come back

I have been to Deli Nene once before and it was OK. Unfortunately not today. I ordered Eggs Royale which is my favourite brunch dish. It arrived cold. No Holladaise sauce. I ate part of it but the cold poached egg, hard, dry muffin and small piece of salmon was horrible. I was offered another attempt which I refused. Serving hot food is a basic requirement and if they can't do that then I am not interested. Felt nauseous for more than an hour afterwards. Won't be going again.

Popped in for a breakfast. Plenty of options that looked fab but settled on a standard full English. It was fab. Others had a different choice and they were all lovely.

My dear followers, the horror storytelling of the spooky season begins. Fancying some poached eggs on toast with avocado - and feeling like characters of horror movies which do not pay attention to red flags - I came to this place even if looked really dark from the inside. The waitress - rigorously dressed in black - took me to a table with a bill on it - so clearly unclean from previous guest - and, suddenly, disappeared. Like magic! Nobody came to set up the table so I took action and grabbed some cutlery from the one close by. Here they come. Eggs clearly boiled. I asked for some poached again waiting for a while. The food doesn’t have any taste at all. Along with the eggs, I ordered a handcrafted green machine which was quite good. At least, witches know how to do their potions. I haven’t been transformed into a frog either! However. No apologies for the inconvenience and/or for the waiting time from the staff. Like if the guests were…ghosts! I ran away shortly after consuming my brunch, giving a happy ending to the spooky experience. Happy Halloween!

I recently visited Delinene and had a delightful experience. Birol made my coffee with such skill and care; the flavor was rich and smooth, exactly how I like it. You can tell he’s passionate about what he does. Fardeen’s service was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and professional. He ensured that everything was perfect and that I had a great time. The combination of exceptional coffee and excellent service made my visit memorable. I’ll definitely be coming back! 10/10

The best meal we’ve had in Beckenham! The food was gorgeous, it was fresh hot and full of flavour. The portion sizes were huge. The staff were amazing they went above and beyond and were so friendly. Especially with our 4 year old. We will be back in a heartbeat.

Good vibe at Deli nene on a summers evening. We were sat near the bifold doors so plenty of breeze and good ambience. Haf a lovely meal eith friends. My husband and his friend had a mixes grill which was quite dry and a little overcooked unfortunately. My friend nad I had the linguini which was quite nice tasty. Quite expensive for what food was worth I'd say as we've eaten at many Turkish and Greek restaurants.

Best coffee in Beckenham, without question, and the eggs benedict is my staple. They work hard to keep this place good and it shows.

We had a really enjoyable early evening meal and drinks this evening. Great choice of tasty food and some very delicious cocktails.

I'm an extremely fussy person and I often complain about everything. At DELI NENE I never have to complain about anything. The prices are yes steep but it is still very value for money. Service is impeccable. Well done.

Nice look, feel and cocktails. Great service. The menu could use some improvements in variety, quality and portion but it is not bad as a drinks complement.

Been coming here almost weekly for Brunch since during the pandemic. Service is always top notch, they take the time to say hello, know what your preferences are and remember for next time. Really good service and a lovely team including the owner’s wife who is lovely. Food is usually very good. We decided not to go back for a few months after a few consistently disappointing Brunches - the quality had really nose dived. However, we gave it a whirl again a few days ago and it looks like they’re back on top. New menu and the quality is definitely back. Cocktails also are always very good.

The food was tasty, perhaps needed a bit more spices but that’s a personal preference and I enjoyed my meal. My only gripe is the portion sizes on the main was a bit small, but again it’s a personal preference but considering the price of my main, the King Prawn with Linguine, I would have expected a bigger portion. Some of the staff were excellent particularly the women attending to my table. However our server, didn’t take my drink order until after happy hour, even though I was there prior to. Which felt intentional. I’d recommend coming and seeing if you like it for yourself the ambiance is nice.

Had breakfast here along with 2 coffees each. English breakfast was fine if nothing special. So 4 coffees and 2 fairly bog standard English breakfasts. The cost of living must be hitting hard as that lot cost almost £38! Not sure that I'll be back in a hurry!

Excellent Mediterranean style menu, great cocktails, fun atmosphere and best of all - really good service, with a smile AND sincerity. I think that’s rare these days and what makes coming to Deli Nene a complete restaurant experience. Anytime I’m over in London, I always try and get a visit in - our table of 6 last night were brilliantly catered for and had a great time, many thanks 🙏 😊

Deli nene is a lovely spot where you can sit over a coffee or order some food. Staff are very welcoming whether you are on your own or with others. I stop by on my way home sometimes and have a coffee after a stressful day at work. Always feel a bit more relaxed afterwards.

We had a problem with 1 dish, however the service dealing with it was impeccable. The food was tasty, generous and well priced. Well worth a visit.

Popped in late afternoon as we'd missed lunch. Burger was delicious, as was the milkshake. Staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive.

I went there as a halal eater and ordered a prawn linguine. The waiter could not speak English and brought me meatballs in pasta. I told him he then proceeded to argue with me loudly. I was forced to just pay up and leave.

Good food, thinking forward sitting further back into the restaurant may have been a little quieter.

This place is amazing. We are here weekly for brunch and come often for dinner too. Fardeen is especially excellent, he always ready to make our experience extra special with a smile, jokes, and extra touches. We are extra happy every time we’re served by him as he is by far the most attentive waiter. We love this place. Family friendly, you can sit outside with the dogs, and in the centre of Beckenham. It’s great to come drink coffee by yourself too, just sit at the window and chill. We need more places like Deli Nene in Beckenham. It’s unpretentious, delicious, and suits every occasion. Thanks to all the staff who make coming here every time so special.
