Joli Bothy. Personnel très accueillant. Parfait petit déjeuner, ou déjeuner, délicieux, gourmand et varié. Nous y en 2023 et y sommes retournées en 2024, par gourmandise.

Dinner and breakfast were absolutely fantastic! Despite having "deli" in the name, they serve a complete menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We started with the delicious scallops, which were followed by two remarkable main courses: Stag Pie and Seafood Tiro. We enjoyed dinner so much that we returned for breakfast the next day, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. The coffee was delightful, and the unique breakfast menu left us satisfied and happy. I highly recommend stopping by if you're traveling through Broadford—you won't regret it!

Nice enough and good coffee, but it's all a bit slow and the staff are shouty. Nice little coffee shop close by, so we went there instead next time. Less chaos and less shouting and noisy staff!

Horrible service, waited over 20 minutes to have not order taken and left while 3 tables came in after got service. All seems a bit chaotic.

We visited this place as my birthday treat during our trip to Isle of Skye. Food was delicious and prices were very reasonable. All members of staff were very friendly and helpful. I purchased handmade candle as well which smells divine. Definitely recommend.

Great food, lovely welcoming vibe and locally owned. The coffee is excellent and they also do takeaway so do local business owners a favour and buy your snack to go here rather than at costa at the gas/petrol station! Today we had brunch but we’ve had lunch and dinner here too. All were excellent. The menu isn’t huge but there are good options for most dietary requirements and restrictions are catered for.

We stopped for breakfast when our way back from Skye. I had been hoping for a traditional fry up but that wasn't an option so I had 'Eggs Bernisdale' which was very nice. My wife just had a croissant and we both had a smoothie and coffee. The coffee was very good. It is a lovely building.

Sehr schönes kleines Restaurant in einer ehemaligen alten Mühle. Modern eingerichtet und trotzdem sehr gemütlich. Die Auswshl an Speisen ist nicht sehr groß aber ausreichend. Alles sehr lecker. Portionen könnten etwas größer sein. Der Preis ist angemessen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Visited for a bite of lunch, which was tasty but pricey for what it was. We had toasties / bagels at £11 each, and it literally was a toastie / bagel. No salad, coleslaw, crisps - nothing. I had the venison salami and cheese toastie, which just wasn't worth the price unfortunately. Nice little place which accepts dogs but there should be a 3 barks and you're out rule as it was off putting having a little dog bark constantly.

We came here for lunch and were pleased it was dog friendly however the service was awful. We ordered soup, bagel and a salad and were warned the soup might be 10 mins which we said was fine. However the bagel came out almost immediately, then about 10 mins later our drinks. Then it was 50 mins before the salad came out and then finally the soup a further 15 mins after that. The waitress was trying not to make eye contact. We ended up eating in relay. The food was ok, nothing special but service ruined it for us.

Recently came here for food and coffee. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Food was fresh, hot and very tasty. Highly recommended while visiting the Isle of Sky area!

The food (when it came ) was excellent, but does it really take 40 minutes to prepare a toasted sandwich? In her haste to take our order, the waitress forgot to write down one of our drinks. Whilst there a lady wandered in with a dog and proceeded to wipe clean a few of the tables then sat down with dog (on seat!) to eat a sandwich. Then left. Was she a friend/owner/ crafty customer? So interesting visit.

We discovered an amazing breakfast spot in the area. Each dish was served in generous portions and the quality and taste exceeded my expectations, making it a delightful and unexpected find. Highly recommended for anyone looking to start their day with delicious food!

這裏的周打魚湯及麵包，我覺得是這個小鎮裏面最好的，我們還點了一份燴鹿肉焗薯，非常美味，而且份量十足。最後我也會推薦這裏的咖啡，味道相當之好。雖然是偏遠的小店，服務態度相當好，我們會再次光臨。就算要排隊也是值得的。

Came a couple of times for lunch while staying nearby. Food was ok and waitress was excellent, it was very busy and she was very lively, serving lots of people at once !

We love this place and really enjoy the food but have waited 20mins for someone to come over. It was not too busy and I counted 9 staff but not sure what they were all doing. I think it needs a manager on the floor. Lots of pleasant young folk standing around but a bit laid back except the young lady on the welcome desk. Very busy sorting people coming in and cleaning tables.

This ginger girl with glasses was very rude and obnoxious I want her gone. It was fine except her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Service fast polite and very friendly. Salad had perfect combination of flavours and crunch. The soap was full of flavour and kick of spice and the stag stew perfect. The lemon drizzle soft and moist 😋

The service was terrible- took over 20 mjnutes to take our order and the couple who came in after us got their order taken before us. My partner got the soup of the day and scone which were lovely, however I order the baked potato with tuna and cheese and I was very disappointed. The potato was cold, under done and there was barely any cheese on it. We have been previously 2 years ago and it was BRILLIANT!! What happened? The aesthetic is lovely but the environment is not pleasant, you can hear all the staff talking very loudly!! It appeared some staff were just standing around not doing anything clearly seeing people were waiting. We even witnessed a couple taking a seat and the server didn’t even bring them menus… Very disappointed visit, won’t be returning which is a shame as their breakfast menu looks delicious

One of the best egg Benedict I ever had. Very nice and comfy interior with small shop when we bought a very nice Isle of Skye candle.

Great little spot and one of the only places open for miles! Generous portions, lovely selection of sandwiches, baked potatoes and bigger meals. Great homemade soup! Will definitely be back

The parsnip and maple soup was inedible!! Flat white was cold. Service was unfriendly! We ended up getting pastries from the Co-op to fill our tummies before the 3 hour return trip home. What a disappointment. We should've taken a picnic!!

Such a nice place inside but scones so pale and unappetising- looking though we’re acceptable taste wise, though not the best. Once again, cakes seem mostly geared towards the tiny, tiny minority who require gluten free or reduced gluten. Very watery tea this time and a girl serving whose voice could be heard speaking at loud volume all over the cafe space. Yappy dugs should be banned…two strikes and their out type thing.Unpleasant. Music dire unfortunately…not sure why Runrig or more Scottish focused music has been ditched.

What dreadful service manner. We arrived to wait just inside the main door. Another couple arrived after us. We were then asked to wait outside in the porch before being allocated a table. The table was then awarded to the couple who arrived after us. They were served before us. The young lady called Emily was loud, over familiar, over bearing, pushy and just in your face. It was not pleasant. After our meal when we were ready to pay she ordered us to wait again for her to take someones order. Meanwhile a colleague of hers was idle and couldn’t help. The food on the other hand was very good. We did leave very disappointed at the service experience.

J'ai du attendre plus de 30 min mon sandwich jambon cheese pour finalement recevoir un sandwich sans jambon, j'ai du le mettre moi même... puis j'ai commandé une soupe avec pain et beurre car le sandwich n'était pas suffisant. Reçu sans pain ni beurre, j'ai dû encore réclamer... enfin le brownie était bon mais sans noix de pecan c'est un moelleux au chocolat. Tout est aller de travers de A à Z... déçu de ne même pas avoir eu d'excuses...

Went in for lunch but it was explained they were short staffed and it would take a while, also I saw they were very busy so my husband and I opted to just get a coffee. While watching the two front of staff I did notice how professional and friendly they were also trying to accommodate everyone. Food coming out made by one staff member also looked great. We look forward to returning and receiving great food and service.

I visited Deli Gasta towards the back end of COVID, when only takeaway was offered. I remember the service being friendly back then, as well as having a really nice cake. So, being on holiday on Skye again, I thought it would be good to hear back. It was just for tea and cake, but it was brilliant. Very friendly, really nice atmosphere inside, and the cake (there was a good range) was really good. I plan on going to Skye again next year, so I'm sure I'll be back.

We stopped in here for an early lunch and we were blown away. The food is healthy, fresh, delicious, honest food, done extremely well. Beautiful presentation and very friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere inside, with local crafts and candles on display. We had bagel, sandwhich, salad and baked potato. All very, very good. Vegan friendly. Yum. Wish they had more cafes around Skye!! Lovely coffee, great food, friendly service, take always. Even the dog got a treat. Places to eat outside on the grass, careful of the midges. It closes at 4.

So glad we stopped by on our drive from ferry at Armadale. Our parents saw the sign so we pulled in and its a gem. Takeaway only but there's benches to sit next to it (although beware of the midges near the stream). The fillings were absolutely delicious (we got venison salami with cheddar + a BBQ pulled pork 1) and the filling portion was really generous - definitely filled us for the day of sightseeing. Exceptionally friendly staff. Home baking looked good but we didn't buy any - we will next time.

We got coffees and bagels to takeaway for our drive south. Excellent, polite and friendly service. Lovely food with substantial filling. I can recommend the salmon and cream cheese bagel

A great stop off with amazing food in a wonderful setting with terrific staff. The food was to die for and the coffee was superb. We will visiting again very soon. Very dog friendly is a bonus.

Had travelled from Mallaig on ferry and needed some lunch, just drove past and thought it looked interesting. Amazing food and ,yes I agree with previous review, best hot chocolate. Good range of sandwiches which were well filled and very tasty

Called in on 19 May. Four of us snd three dogs. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was fantastic. Wonderful GF meal for me. A real treat.

We had 2 beautiful takeaways from the deli , my wife went as far to say it was the best hot chocolate she has ever had ! The sandwiches are fabulous too - recommended!!

We stopped at this cafe for lunch in our way to Portree. The food was pretty good, with a good combination of mains and desserts. The coffee was very good and the cakes were delicious. The staff was lovely and the place was very nice!

We were the first indoor visitors since reopening, following covid restrictions. The team did a great job of making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Lovely food and good prices! We would return :)

A very small cozy local cafe. The bagel with avocado and honey must be one of the better bagels I’ve had. The Greek salad was delicious as well.

We had been on the island for 3 days and were heading home when we popped in for cake and coffee. Our waitress (not long back from Australia) was so helpful. A Cappuccino and a Latte, blueberry muffin and a slice of lemon drizzle cake. So tasty, served in lovely quirky crockery. The place has a lovely atmosphere. The toilet was immaculate. I can imagine this place being stowed out (non covid) during the summer months. They have outside seating next to a wee stream. It was busy when we were there even although it was a dull cool day. We will return for hot food on our next visit to the island.

We stopped on spec for lunch and this turned out to be a good decision. The staff were very friendly and chatty. We opted for fab crab and sumptuous salmon sarnies. Nom nom nom. And the dark chocolate hot choccie was the perfect dessert.Come here - you won't regret it.

Was so pleased with the female waitresses who where inviting to my family and dog. Helpful, friendly, kind and amazing. Food was outstanding. But and I am sorry to say a big but, I won't return after my daughter was eating her toasty, and I admit she is not the quickest eater, the plates where cleared away from us. Mid meal is so rude. It's such a shame they felt they had to rush us out.

Normally great experience was very poor yesterday. Waited 30 mins for a toastie which they had clearly forgotten as my coffee was going cold! Cappuccino v poor also towards the ones on previous 2 days. Clearly they were short staffed and people coming to take away hatch were being served ahead of those of us who were sitting down. No evidence of management. Really disappointed.

I visited Deli Gasta with my boyfriend for lunch and we were not disappointed. The menu had great options for a lighter lunch and we each had a wrap (one coronation chicken & one feta, avocado and pesto) which were freshly made and tasty. The staff were so pleasant and welcoming too. I would definitely return again!

Visited today and the great Glen venison sandwich was amazing. Service was first class. Will be back before holiday ends.

Magnificent crab sandwich. When you hope placing an order you get 8/10 but it arrives and is 12/10. Fresh bread and very generous crab filling with nice garnish. Smashing coffee. Cheerful and welcome service

Squeezed our family of 7 onto a table and we were all very impressed. Bagels, Soup, Sandwiches were all excellent quality and we were made to feel very welcome indeed ! They really made a fuss of my 7 year old daughter and treated her to a mini hot chocolate on the house ! We will be back (but it’s a long way from Newcastle !)

Stopped for a takeaway sandwich on a long weekend visit. Ploughman`s was delicious, as was crab and mayo on brown bread, yum yum. Service was excellent and very entertaining, sign promised good banter and Ruth didn`t disappoint what a delight, not just with us, a real star. A must, even if you`re not hungry.

My wife and I were looking for a spot a late snack lunch. Happened upon Deli Gasta and were delighted we did. It is simple, straightforward cuisine. A simple menu but the food is prepared to order and the service was excellent. Also work by local artisans is available. It was well worth our stop. Should we return to the area it is definitely a place we will drop in on.

Popped in for lunch with the dog, we were made very welcome in a very clean,well spaces out, kind on the eye establishment. Staff were welcoming, engaging in chatting about our stay, had a fabulous menu for a deli, and the food was tasty and of good quality. Couldn't ask for more, and will be back before we go home. Have a visit, you will not be disappointed.

We had an amazing dine in experience here, the brunch and coffee drinks are very yummy! Besides, the service staff are very welcoming and enthusiasm that make us felt so warm, here we would like to praise Ailean and Ruth ( the waitresses) for wonderful service. Highly recommend you guys dine in here, btw they also provide take away :)

Staff here are really lovely and the atmosphere is great! Food was alright and got our orders wrong but the salmon creme cheese bagle made up for it! Slow service for hot drinks.

We were recommended to try this place, and were very disappointed. We only stopped for coffee and cake (thank goodness). My “lemon drizzle” cake was barely acquainted with the eponymous fruit, and the drizzle had to be sought out by a magnifying glass - in fact, the whole slice was on the small side. My dining partner had some very average Victoria sponge, and that, along with two mediocre coffees to take out cost a whopping £12! Add to that a server who was so busy chatting to her friend that she had to be interrupted to serve us at all, and perhaps you can see why we will drive on by next time.

We visited at the end of our trip to Skye and had a lovely lunch. Two of our group are vegetarian and had no shortage of options; the cakes also looked delicious but unfortunately we were being good! The interior is beautiful and so picturesque. Especially in the current times, the service was great and all of the staff were so friendly.

Portions have drastically shrunk during lockdown. We are regulars. We took some guests there and the food was embarrassing. The bagels are half the size they used to be and the cakes have also shrunk. we will go back for the coffee but give the food a miss.

Dropped in for a lunchtime takeaway. There is a restaurant as well as the takeaway and there is adequate parking in front. It is only open during the daytime and is near the centre of Broadford.I had a wrap and my wife had a sandwich, both of which were very fresh, tasty and filling. The service was a wee bit on the slow side, but the kitchen looked busy and the food was being prepared as ordered. Not the cheapest but much tastier than I would expect from the supermarket nearby, so worth the bit extra cost.

Another great visit to Deli Gasta (is there any other type?) Our waitress was first class, Isla, and despite current challenging times, our visit was effortless. Well organised, great food. ‘Nuf said.

Stopped here for a late lunch and had the most delicious food - difficult to choose what to have, but we thoroughly enjoyed soup, a mega Greek salad, deliciously fresh thick cut salmon from North Uist and fresh crab sandwich. Excellent friendly service from Rhona and her friends who made us so welcome in this sympathetically restored building. We’d highly recommend Deli Gasta as a fabulous place to visit in southern Skye...

Had a trip to Skye and stumbled upon this wee gem. The staff were all so friendly especially Maddy and Rhona Both being very enthusiastic, great service and the best avocado bagel ever! Highly recommend.

Lovely smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. So good had to go back a second time. Nice coffee and lovely location for sitting out and enjoying the sun.

We ate here a few times while on Skye and we were never disappointed, the salmon bagels are the best and their coffee is always on point, especially if it's made by Maddy! We'll definitely be back again!

After a long weekend of wild camping, Deligasta was the perfect pit stop before our flight back to London! We had been attacked by Midges in Neist point and got away early without breakfast, and randomly came across this place. It was instantly and warm and welcoming environment with friendly and helpful staff. We were greeted with smiles and seated in a nice spot next to some lovely art work on the walls! My Cappuccino was perfect just what I needed and the hummus & pepper wrap was delicious, and was a great item on the menu for a veggie like me! As I pondered over having a desert, I was guided through the cake section and was enticed by a delicious home made scone that comes with creme and jam. It was quite impressive, best scone I’ve ever had tbh. Next time, we come to Skye we are definitely coming back to visit, not only for the food but the warm friendly environment you need when taking a break from wild camping! Thank you!

Stopped by in a hurry as I was leaving the island for the day for work purposes. Ruaridh was very helpful, and the latte he made was superb. Can’t complain at all - excellent!

I’d been craving a nice chocolatey mocha throughout lockdown and couldn’t wait for Deli Gasta to open again so I could get my coffee fix. I’ve been several times since they opened and the coffee is always of a high standard and made exactly the way I like it. Special shout out to Maddy who made the best mocha I‘ve had in a very long time, all the staff were really nice. I’d definitely recommend Deli Gasta for their coffee as the service is great and coffee incredible. Ask for Maddy to make your coffee if you’re looking for an awesome mocha!

I always visit this deli when in Skye and cannot recommend it enough! Although, they are extremely busy right now (understandbly) the food still remains fresh and to a great standard! I felt very safe on my visit and the new take-away window is a great addition!

We swung into here at 10 am for breakfast on a Saturday morning & ordered coffee & scrabbled eggs for 4 people. We got the coffee & an hour later asked about the eggs which we were told they had lost the order . No apology- too busy taking take away orders & others money . This is run by a group of kids who have no idea what they are doing. Avoid

Visited when on Skye, place was a joke with everyone waiting. Ended up just getting drinks and that it self we an ordeal. Avoid

Visited with my fiancé for takeaway sandwiches and muffin! Food was super tasty! Service was a bit slow with a new member of staff being trained but hey we all need to learn somewhere! Salmon and cream cheese bagel I would for sure recommend!!

I will say, these guys have a great handle on COVID policies and safety. However, after waiting 20 minutes just to get a table (even though they were empty and disinfected!), another 10 to get a menu, and then to be told that they only served breakfast for the first hour of opening, we weren’t impressed. It only got worse, too - coffee was burnt and sad, and the sandwiches we ordered were dry and ice cold, so they’d been premade and refrigerated. This would be fine if they were quick, but they took another 20 mins to come out. Everything was fairly expensive, just to add insult to injury. I’m sure takeaway is fine but overall, this place should be embarrassed to call themselves a deli.

Went here for a late lunch with family at 14:30 on a Wednesday. We ordered several smoothies which were all good and we then ordered our sandwiches. They had run out of wraps so sandwiches were our only option which was slightly annoying. I ordered the feta and avocado sandwich and some of my family ordered the salmon sandwich and the prawn sandwich. However they had run out of prawn and salmon so they then ordered the crayfish sandwich which they also had run out of. The reason this review isn’t 3 star is because we were very late for lunch and therefore it is acceptable if they have run out of items. They then ordered the roast beef sandwich instead which was average. My sandwich was good and we wanted to try the piña colada cake. This was very good and was the best part of the meal. If you want to go to Deli Gasta, go during lunchtime! The service was friendly and it was a good experience.

Beautiful little cafe with amazing food. Would highly recommend pulling in if you've arrived on the island and fancy a refuel!!!

We had a lovely lunch of a wrap and toastie which both were really good. Gasta is a lovely wee building in the middle of Broadford, great location, right beside a wee rushing river (it was raining on the day we visited), and the only one thing I would say was that we waited for quite a while for the simple items we had ordered - but would still highly recommend as the place and food are great!

We stopped by for lunch having walked around Broadford and the hail setting in. The cafe is well signposted from the main road and has a big accessible car park. The cafe itself is in a wonderful old building but inside has a great modern feel. It was heartening to see local food featured so prominently on the menu, and the crab sandwich has to be the best I've ever had. Would definitely come back.

Stopped in for a bite to eat at 3:45 and informed they were only serving cakes and drinks although they advertise as being open until 5PM. We ended up ordering a hot chocolate but then told upon arrival that they had run our of cream. Overall disappointing.

We left Fort William before dawn to see the first morning's light on the hills as we drove to Skye. What views and what solace! The road was ours and no one else's . . . apart from the herds of deer which were very pleasant company. Shortly after crossing the bridge we came to Deli Gasta, hungry and ready to eat. It had sounded good online, looked good from the road and WAS good! Everything we ate was great and the shop had great local handcrafted items. We will never go to Skyp and not stop here.

We stopped here for a quick break at lunch. The food was great; the staff was friendly! The building is very rustic but wonderfully redone. I had a ham sandwich and hot tea and both were great! Our server was efficient and friendly. Recommended!

Stopped by for a takeaway whilst traveling through Skye. Courteous staff upon arrival to a what is a nice Deli. I went for a delicious Smoked Salmon and cream cheese wrap followed by what was the biggest, softest and tastiest brownie I think I have ever had, all this was washed down with a smooth but bold Americano. Recommended to me by a lovely young lady from Plockton and I am now recommending it to you all. Call in if your in the area, you won't be disappointed.
