Been here a few times now, foods good, quite clean but for the customer service? Where do i even get started with this, for starters the staff are just blatantly rude, making complaints about ur order infront of you, never have enough stock in, come here for my usual all the time and am normally told they don’t have ham or something. When I walk in the door I am normally greeted with someone telling me there’s no chips, which by the way how do u know if I want chips? Sort ur staff.

Ordered Cajun chicken pasta , it arrived warm and was looking forward to it. When I opened the box it was another story. Mould on the chicken , pasta and onions. Restaurant wouldn’t answer the phone despite calling numerous times. Complaint has been made. I hope they don’t serve anyone else this vile food.

Staff are so friendly and our food was absolutely delicious! First time and won’t be our last! Got some cakes as well and they are so fresh! Best deli in ek x

I was made to wait for over 15 mins for a roll and bacon. No one else was in the shop apart from just eat delivery men. Priority was clearly being given to just eat orders. Bacon was cooked. They only heat it up for 3 - 4 mins. I realise they were busy but to me it is poor service.

One star is too much. We ordered a delivery. Most of it ended up in the bin. Breakfast was cold and greasy, cheewy bacon and rock hard lorne. But the worst was easily the wet baked potato. Disgusting. Never again. My advice is avoid at all costs.

When the manager is swearing at customers then you know it's not a place for me. Food is always cold when I get it delivered

Breakfast greasy bacon black over cooked scrambled Eggs toast was like bread soaked in water. Worst ever breakfast I’ve ever tasted . Seriously has gone down hill .

Popped in for a sandwich and a latte and was horrified to see one of the servers making up lunches without gloves on and dipping her bare hands into numerous topping dishes and putting on sandwich. I decided just to have a latte instead. cleanliness of place was very disappointing. It used to be a lovely deli but now more catered for the school kids. More like greasy spoon cafe!! Wont be back!!

No one has face masks on, gloves are kept on for handling food and till. Very abrupt apart from one girl who was serving us, appeared new. Overpriced!! Just avoid and go to greggs next door.

Seems ek deli have changed hands. Used to be good quality and affordable with nice staff, total opposite now. £5.50 for a coronation chicken toasted wrap which was frozen inside. Used to visit regularly when in ek but won’t be back

I am soooo triggered and upset with the customer service, I went in with a friend to get lunch, my friend ordered her food the staff where very nice and polite to her but when it came to me I asked for brown bread and a salad on it because I am a healthy eater and the staff where sooo cheeky and rude to be, talking about me and my order in a negative way right in front of me. They do not have a right to talk about a paying customer like that especially when the PAYING CUSTOMER is right in FRONT OF THEM. The way they were discussing me and my eating really triggered me sins I have eating issues so it really ruined my day

Think there’s been a change of management and it’s totally gone down hill. Such a shame, maybe they think customers won’t notice but the person who’s taken over doesn’t seem to “care” things a strewn around, the quality of the coffee beans is so much lower, the general quality of the food/meant the amount of variety on offer. It’s turned into a cheap product greasy spoon type of place. Previously it was a lovely DELI with high quality products. Such a shame but gradually people will notice. The queue for greggs is now bigger than the queue for the deli which is sad but a reflection of the cheap quality.

Great menu with lots of choice and the food was great - see you again soon! The Moring rolls are superb and lots of hot filings like Sausage, bacon egg etc. Love it and see you soon

Ordered breakfast for delivery, arrived in alright time, tea was a little cold but microwaved fine, and the portion was alright for the price. Good if you want a cooked breakfast without the effort of cooking or leaving your house. Also a good selection so will probably find something for everyone

Myself and my colleagues have just taken delivery of breakfast rolls and they were fresh well cooked and delicious . Delivered very quickly right to our workplace door Now we have found this little gem we will be making a regular order cannot recommend highly enough

Me visita Deli EK cada día por mi almuerzo, y he sido un cliente por más de 5 años.Sin duda, el mejor lugar para alimentos frescos y artesanales y tortas de East Kilbride.Sus comidas calientes son el increíble. Regular tienen platos calientes (macarrones con queso, lasaña y pollo cajun y arroz) y algunas comidas diferentes que apagan cada día (he tenido de todo, desde carne de cerdo Tarta de Carbonara al Curry y chisporroteante). Todas las comidas son de excelente relación calidad-precio (nunca más de 4 libras. 50, pero normalmente alrededor de 3 libras. 50 - 4 libras).También tienen una gran selección de panes, rellenos de sándwiches, pasta y frijoles.En el lado de la torta, tienen una gran selección. Recomiendo el brownie sin gluten. No soy celiaca, pero el brownie es para morirse y te dan un pedazo enorme. Genial, con una taza de café.El personal es muy amable y muy generosa con sus raciones, si saben o no!

Este es un increíble wee deli, uno de los mejores en el pueblo, la comida es siempre fresca y muy los casos, irritable, me encanta comprar comidas para llevar. Si no te apetece cocinar esa noche, el personal encantador y utilizarlo semanal, la única queja que tengo es que cierre demasiado temprano y no está abierto los fines de semana

Justo al lado de Greggs, pero un mundo aparte por el sabor y relación calidad-precio. La sopa casera es fantástico siempre fresca y se nota. La tarta de Rocky road también es casera y para morirse! Aplastando wee deli, con mucho para elegir. Comida excelente, con un gran servicio y no demasiado caro. Perfecto. Usted debe visitar.

Very clean premises and staff are more than helpful,I ordered the meatball sub the first time I ordered from here and ended up going back the same day for another.really can't fault this place at all.

This deli is amazing. The place is immaculate with a great variety of foods sandwiches baked potatoes and pastas. The lunch box is great value for money and you get massive portions and it is really healthy. The chicken is freshly cooked every day and there is a lot of choice and variety of salads. It's alway busy and the staff are so nice and really helpful. Nicest deli in East Kilbride by far.

albondigas fantástica semana pasada con patatas picantes y brócoli con salsa de cebolla. Voy aquí por lo menos 2 ó 3 veces por semana sólo me hubiera gustado que estaba abierto en los fines de semana.

Food usually really nice and great price. As long as you don't get the man manager who i now see stomping around the backroom then you will be ok as he is a grump. Other staff really helpful

Excellent lunches, great portions and friendly staff - everything you want from a local deli! All freshly made and now again they offer up a curve ball which can be anything that takes their fancy that morning or night before!And if you're a cake person - wait till you see the portions!

Very well made and tasty sarnies, the salad was delicious too.And very reasonably priced, £7 for 2 sandwiches and a pot of salad.

Great variety in here love the deli feel with the foreign foods available etc Love the spicey bean wrap, great beig able to grab vegan convenience food. Please start doing soya milk for your lattes ;) Great food and very reasonable prices.

Possibly the worst customer service in the whole of East Kilbride. The younger woman, may own the place or have something to do with the owner, is so far up herself that she neglects to say thank you or bye or hello, basically she doesn't have any manners at all. Such a shame because the food is not bad!

Had a nice baguette here recently and a hot chocolate and my wife had a soup and all of it was nice and very reasonably priced.

Just been for the first time after receiving numerous recommendations from friends and colleagues.Everything is good about this place. The staff are friendly, the food variety is excellent, the quality and taste are good, portion size is fantastic and to top it off it costs very little.Whats not to like?!I'll be back for more.

Deli EK is spotlessly clean and serves great food.Polite,cheerful staff and good value for money.There are many take-away outlets nearby but Deli EK is by far the best.

Having watched people at my office bringing in bits n pieces from this deli i decided to give it a try a while back. I had the tuna and cheese wrap and its definitely the best wrap ive had. Not only do they give you two full wraps,they don't skimp on the fillings. I decided to treat my hubby to Jnr on our day off and again I wasn't disappointed. We even treated ourselves to the amazing carrot cake they had on offer. The staff are all very helpful and don't huff and puff or moan and groan like other places I've been to recently. They seem genuinely pleased to help you. They have a fabulous selection of homemade cakes and main courses that you could easily but and pass off as your own (lol). Highly recommended,clean inside, delicious food and friendly staff. I'll definitely be back. Though thank goodness in not working in East Kilbride full time or I'd never be out of the place.

Visit here quite often at lunch time. They have a great selection of hot and cold food available and everything on display looks lovely and fresh. I haven't made a bad choice yet! Their baguettes and quesadillas are a particular favourite and I cannot resist their cakes and slices. Try to visit if you can but best to avoid the lunch time of the local high school as the place can be very busy.

We go to the Deli EK a lot. They have daily special meals along with Lasagne and Macaroni. The prices are unbelievably cheap and are less than £3.50 for a main course. I think the Lasagne and Macaroni are only about £2.50. We have started buying lots of meals for my mum to put in her freezer as it works out cheaper than meals on wheels and the quality is far superior.The salads, rolls and sandwiches are excellent. The home baking is delish. The coffee is some of the best we have had. Really friendly staff and a total gem in the village.

The Deli EK is a popular place to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food is excellent, good service and staff are very pleasant and helpful.

Genuinely appealing food, great portions and great staff. Good ingredients and unique menu choices which vary - makes lunchtime interesting and not boring. Competes with Greggs but amazingly it is busier than Greggs! It's probably the only Deli which isn't afaid to have a Greggs next door!

Foccacia sandwiches from here immense. Staff very helpfull every time despite being full of discourteous school children. I drive from opposite end of EK to get my tuna salad sandwich from here.

I've been going now most days since it has opened....and each time the food has been fantastic...all prepared fresh every day and excellent value. Great for a roll on bacon or sausage with a latte in the morning!!

Fab place to get lunch and dinner for the same day.. You get your sandwiches the way you want them with as much or as little filling and salads as you like..mmmmm.. They also have home cooked meals to take away and reheat later, its like having restaurant food in your livingroom..Great

Stumbled accross this place while waiting for my dry cleaning. All I can say is wow! The food , all hand made on the premises, all looks amazing.The cakes are incredible , all reasonably priced around the pound mark. They do a make your own sandwich idea with about a million different choices and the salad bar bit looks very tempting. They also have ready made meals, which again are made by them. I can highly recommend the lasagne.I've been back a few times now and love it! A place you could spend half a day in - easy!Nice addition to East Kilbride
