Lovely food and good customer service. Great food, all dishes tasted unique and not just made from the same base. Staff very welcoming and friendly and food came out piping hot. Chilli cheese naans were delicious and very fresh! Parking can be abit hot and miss as you’re relying on street parking due to no set car park, but not really an issue at all! Would return.

A particularly delicious visit , tried the chaat and the Momo and then a very spicy chicken curry, all were excellent, good service and reasonable value , will definitely recommend

We visited about a month ago for a family birthday, having previously visited about 10 times in 18 months we knew the food was good, the service was always poor and unless they invest in training the staff it always will be. Firstly they seated us and we waited about 10 minutes to order a drink, another 10 minutes to actually get the drinks. I ordered dishes I had previously had when I visited and they were all completely different to the last time. For the 4th time I ordered a dish with shredded chicken, like the last time I double checked, it is chicken tikka pieces or shredded chicken, confirmed it was shredded. For the 4th time it wasn't shredded, I queried this on arrival and the waitress just stared at me like I was speaking a different language, nothing, no reaction, frozen like a statue.... she muttered something and proceeded to serve the rest of the food and then walked off. Why offer something you have no intention of serving. We also ordered a chicken tikka platter, it was fair to say some of the chicken looked dodgy - I wasn't going to let the kids eat it. Again trying to flag down staff to discuss was almost impossible, so we ate what we were prepared to eat. There were a couple of naan breads ordered but they had a sour taste like gone off yoghurt. This place was an example of how to launch a new restaurant when it opened, interesting new dishes, cooked fresh, tasted fresh, not like the majority of the Indian restaurants in Coventry where the food tastes anything but fresh. I just won't be back, food is now poor, poorer quality ingredients, prices have shot up and the service as bad or worse than ever.

We been comin here for over a year. And we went a few days ago and were very shocked at how much Delhi 76 charged us for 5 poppadoms and condiments, £10. That's very steep considering other places like orange&ginger, sky blue tavern, indigoes don't even charge!! Also the starters chilli paneer was sooo small portion and you don't get worth for your money. The place is a rip off. For those reasons especially the 5 poppadoms for £10 we won't be going back. Portions also have gone smaller.

Haven’t been in this, my closest Indian restaurant for a while and the menu has changed. For the better. The much, much better. The food we had: chicken madras, mutton curry, mutton biryani - slightly confusing in that the menu says the mutton is goat. I don’t really care. The curries had proper layers of spice coming at you separately, then together and, with the madras ending in a fierce and lingering heat, as it should. The mutton/goat curry had a richly flavoured sauce made silky and deep by the marrow from the bones it was still on: fingers got messy. But my biryani, oh boy. Bone-in meat marinated overnight and cooked in rice that drifts apart, whole spices, crispy onions. I’ve never had better. A wettening curried vegetable sauce on top. Just delicious. There is standard British Indian restaurant fare of course, but if the madras is anything to go by, it’ll be a cut above. I look forward to finding out. A criticism: the condiment tray for the poppadoms was ungenerous, but it may have been an oversight. It was a packed Saturday night. But even then the service was good. This place just went to first choice position for a curry night out.

We’ve been several times & always enjoyed the food. It’s obviously changed hands. Menu was different & food nowhere near as good. Add that to the fact that the poppadoms are £2 each, we won’t be going again

Fabulous meal. Even though busy, staff were polite and attentive. Order was taken promptly and courses were delivered together. Food was well presented and nice and hot. Dishes chosen were just what we expected. Happy to recommend.

I visit this restaurant at least once a month and have been doing this since they opened. Great food family and work night out everyone i take here loves it. Bupi the owner is great happy to make something not on menu or advise a dish depending on taste. Its nice touch when going with kids as we dont want the standard chicken nuggets and chips etc. Bupi recommended the dragon tail dish my phephew loved it as cant eat spicy .

Really lovely tasting food, we asked for spicy dishes and got spicy dishes! Would highly recommend, the naans were thin and not heavy, any left over food we got to take away as well

Sauces are very tasty I would recommend the curries I have eaten in and takeaway Only criticism would be there chicken the chunks in the curries can be occasionally fatty and chewy Not 100% chicken breast

Went to meet with a group of 8 friends as we try different curry venues on a regular basis. Arrived at 715 pm and didn't get the main course until 920 pm and even then 3 of the party were missing meals ! Unfortunately one of the party had a train to catch at 930 and didn't get a chance to eat :-( . Whilst the food was of good quality the warp around experience of the staff was really the worst I have ever experienced in any restaurant that ive been too. Unless you like to be treated very poorly and enjoy chasing waiting staff around to get attention I would really avoid this place. The lady taking the bill at the end even laughed when I mentioned the poor service. Its a shame as the actual food was good but it wasn't worth the other hassle.

I was so excited to go here. When we got there lady seemed nice. We were sat down at the table and placed our order. No poppadoms offered to us like others were. Food came out and omg 2 hairs in my Daughters noodles absolutely disgusting and put us off Our food. Then food was to bland that I asked for chillies She didn't really take our 241 meerkat discount. The food is superb. We’ve been several times & the quality is always good. As others have said, the service is poor. There isn’t enough front of house staff to cope, it really lets the place down, such a shame.

Very popular restaurant, I’ve been twice lately and always busy. The food is delicious, one of the nicest curries I’ve had. However…… the service is incredibly slow, and on both occasions had to check where our drinks order was. Not the place to go if you’re in a hurry, but if you’ve got the time, it’s worth it for the lovely food.
