id just got off the bus from luton airport after being on hols, knew i had No food at home, so while walking home i went online and orrderd...did have wait long...driver very polite..Thank You for Really Tastey Food.

The mushroom pie was hard pale and mush inside . Cheap and nasty The chips brown hard and greasy . Very disappointing we left nearly all of it . Just a be plate of food

Ordered online again and yet again waited another 20mimutes after the order was supposed to be ready This has happened the last 3 times we’ve been here Chips always undercooked Portion size is quite honestly pathetic Expensive too

As per the other reviews, has gone downhill significantly in terms of the quality of the food (my fish was undercooked and the pie also looked slightly undone). Also, it is a complete shambles when you go in, booked order via website but when I turned up nothing was ready. To top it off I've had a stomach upset all night and this morning. AVOID

Hubby picked up fish n chips after golf yesterday and they were terrible! The fish had clearly been overcooked and was inedible the batter was almost black and the fish was definitely not fresh inside it was all stuck to the batter. The chips were limp and also dark in colour possibly reheated. Won’t be using this place again

Very disappointing meal , stopped for the fish special. £6.99 fish and chips meal , chips were very soggy and the fish had stringy bits in with very hard batter in places Not worth wasting your money !

Curt and unhelpful staff. Confused management strategy - no delivery orders accepted via phone only through the website. A website that doesn't function well. Obviously this order prevention approach does little for business.

1st when you go in the shop you have a choice of ordering on the automated screen & get 10% off or pay the normal over the counter, the problem is paying on the screen is the most un-user friendly automated screen you can imagine, even the manageress had problems to use it. We ordered senior fish & chips the fish was greasy and not white that fresh fish should be, the chip portions seem to have shrunk & the batter was over cooked. It appeared most of the staff were very new with the manageress shouting at the staff to take the fish out of the fryer as it was already cooked. Something seems to have gone down hill in the last 12 months, one of the reasons for me to place a poor review was when a couple of our neighbours ordered fish & chips this week & telling the next day they both had an upset stomachs. Hopefully someone will let us know what is going on at Deep Blue.

Dawn and Sam were amazing and served up the best lunch. We are from Australia and I am British but haven’t been home in 30 years. They made me remember how good fish and chips were. Thanks ladies you were sh@t hot. Xxx

The pie was either old and been kept warm for much too long at the wrong temperature or it had been overcooked in the microwave!! Couldn’t brake the crust it was like rock ! Then when I finally got into it only I piece of chicken and no sign of any mushrooms? Chips were hard and overcooked. If that’s the best they can do then no wonder it was devoid of customers when I pick the meal up

We went here last night for some fish and chips and were very disappointed. We only go here once in a while and in the past year we have been given refried fish twice now. I phoned up to pass on my comment and the young girl said she hoped my next visit would be better. I said that I probably won’t come back . A short while later the phone rang and it was the older assistant who said that she could assure me that the fish she had helped to serve me was freshly cooked as I was waiting. This was clearly not the case as I had just had the fish in front of me and it was as hard as rock, covered in lots of hard batter and was burned on the bottom. I was served straight away and was given the food already there. She was insistent that the fish was cooked fresh as it takes only four minutes to cook. There was no way this was the case. I was offered 10% discount on my next order. No real apology at all. I won’t be coming back .

Came in on Thursday for fish and chips and some other random bits (I’m a pig) food was fresh and hot. I polished it off. Whilst waiting for the fish to be cooked I had a nice chat with Keely and the manager (I can’t recall her name) both were very friendly and courteous. I’ll be back

Burnt food, old stale reheated chips, which was lucky because there was so few of them. And fourty quid for the pleasure. Most of the food got thrown away.

Food delivered exactly on time, in person by one of the Deep Blue team. Amazing service, and delicious food!

Disappointing really. The chips were stale and a large portion is very small relative to any other fish and chip shops I’ve visited.

This is a great chippy but the souther fried chicken burger was pretty sorry. Just a chicken fillet in a dry bun. Won't be ordering that again.

Very disappointed with the chips they were chewy and some were hard. The fish cakes, breaded prawns and battered sausage were good. Would order again but maybe change your potato supplier or perhaps they were not cooked quite right.

Love this place. Great free shipping fish and chips. We come nearly every 2-3 days as it’s that great. The manager and his team take the time to serve and chat to me and my mum making it a safe environment to be in. Great service and they will try there hardest to get a delivery to me if I can’t leave the house.

Appalling customer service. I placed an order online, called up to ask about the delivery charge as it had changed since my last order. The member of staff went off to speak to the manager without muting the call and proceeded to call me a C##T the staff need some proper training.

I love using the delivery service and food always arrives on time or if ever there is a problem they contact me. Food is hot and great quality.

Arrived 10 minutes before closing. Stood ignored by the staff for 5 minutes because everyone was busy I guess, then was told when I asked to order that they weren’t taking any more orders as it was nearly closing time. Waste of my time. I’ll just go somewhere else next time.

The food was excellent. Was a little later than ordered but worth it and the delivery driver was really friendly.

We have ordered a few times via just eat and the fish shop never add salt & vinegar as per the instructions. This is disappointing as when the food arrives it is clearly written on the order receipt.

Great service. Didn’t wake my baby because the driver was so quiet and considerate of the surroundings. The driver was super polite too.

We never received our food. Tried several times to ring to find out where it was and couldn’t get through- sounded like we were being hung up on? Very disappointed and the lack of communication was frustrating. Still don’t know where our food went? Expect a refund.

Had a delay in delivery due to store being busy and chips arrived cold however after phoning the store the lady I spoke too was extremely helpful and agreed to send some fresh food f.o.c which arrived almost immediately along with a very welcome complimentary ice cream. Thanks Deep Blue.

So the delivery girl was nice and apologised for being late, which is fine, but unfortunately all the food was cold. I only live 7 minutes away. I understand we’re going through a pandemic so they must be understaffed, but nobody likes cold chips.

When I ordered online I did select time of 7:30 pm and added a note to say please do not deliver before this time as I am not home, however delivery was attempted at 5:40 ish. I did get a fresh meal at 7:30 though. The food was nice and fresh although there was no capri sun with the kids meal, abit annoying as my daughter loves them but I couldn't be bothered to chase it after a long day at work we just wanted to eat and then relax. The delivery person was super friendly and professional 5stars for him!!!

Well.. good food,.good service.all good stuff But over £19 for Two ( Admittedly mine were large lots of chips bigish fish) so no 50 % off for takeaway.. So have good check on price before ordering.

The food was delivered incomplete. When I tried to call to give feedback it was permanently engaged, therefore I could not leave timely feedback and we were left without some of the food. This is disappointing as previously the orders have been complete.

First off your moped driver rang the bell and didn’t tell me he wasn’t coming into the building so I was waiting in the flat whilst he waited outside. Then I went out eventually after he buzzed the second time and only this time saying that I needed to come down. He doesn’t take his helmet off when delivering so can’t hear anything when speaking on the door buzzer. I picked up my bag only to find the main part of the meal Missing 3 jumbo sausages. I then logged onto just eat and asked for my sausages to be refunded as I now have to go to work and don’t have time to wait for it to come back plus the first half of my dinner was now cold. He then turned up again rang the bell obviously with the missing part of the order. I said I didn’t want it as I’m on my way to work now and the first part of my Dinner was cold so just take it back and sort my refund. He didn’t hear a thing again so just stood outside for ten mins. Then rung again so I shouted at him saying to take his f*cking helmet off so he can hear what I’m saying and to take the food back and sort out my refund. Never in my life did I think order some fish and chips be so complicated and a complete joke all round. I’ll be checking my bank account for my full refund. Won’t be using you again.

We’ve recently moved to the area from London and to find a good chip shop on our doorstep has been brilliant - we’ve eaten from there twice this week!We tried the cheese and onion fry-it tonight and it’s very tasty. The fish are excellent quality and the battered sausage was delicious. My only criticism is the lack of cheese on the cheesy chips. There really wasn’t much cheese at all and I did feel hard done by given we’d paid extra.

Great service really friendly and kind to my son and his friend when they collected the food . Going above and beyond splitting the chips into two boxes so one could have vinegar ! Thank you !

We live within 2 minutes walk and we visit here a lot. In the last year the fish and chips have gone from what used to be the best, to tasteless and distinctly average.

Oh my goodness I just can’t believe the size of the portions, they are massive! Quality of food was good, fish seemed fresh and scampi ok . Although more breading than scampi ! Staff were really friendly and helpful.If you are hungry this is the place to go !

Chips did not taste nice. Some undercooked. Even the children left them! Scampi and jumbo sausage were fine. Ordered at 6.58 and arrived at 8.30 Won’t be ordering again

Awful never again will I order from here and when I called to complain I got told it wasn’t their fault! Well it isn’t mine so who is to blame! Get told it will be 10 minutes, another 30 minutes later call to see where my order is and get told it’s on it’s way! It’s now been over an hour and half late and still hasn’t arrived!

Have been having fish and chip take away from them for 10 years and have had my worst experience yet. Overall poor quality of a service and food. Stale chips and cod. £40 for a meal for the family.Usually very good food. Very disappointed this time around!

Food order was wrong no drink came with the order a fish was tiny (bigger portion in kids meal) only good thing was came quicker than going to the shop!

Well this has gone down hill since I last visited.Staff are rude and just seem like they can not be bothered surely you can train or even replace staff with people that care.The food is Luke warm and greasy,pies taste like they have been microwaved and the chips are limp.This used to be an amazing chip shop for miles but now I will avoid this and I suggest you all do the same.Where’s the old manager the woman in charge is killing this shop and it’s such a shame this could do so much more Woburn sands deserve so much more

I can honestly say that this was the worst fish and chips I’ve had in my entire life. Dry, chewy fish, shockingly bad batter, undercooked flaccid chips. Terrible just doesn’t cover it.

Fairly small portions, especially for the "Regular Cod" which was almost the exact same size as the "Small Cod" which both were very flat and small however, were nice items to eat!

Food great as always although our first choice of fish wasn’t available. Restaurant called and offered an alternative.

The food wasn’t delivered. I called them and they said a big order had come in so they couldn’t do ours. Got a refund but a phone call explaining would have been better. Not good and won’t use again 👎

With the quality of restaurants in Woburn Sands, it deserves a much better FIsh & Chip Shop. The teenage staff are so rude and just spend the whole time talking about where they are going out that night and getting drunk. One of them pushed past me as I was coming through the door. They don't seem to have had any customer service training. We live a 1 minute drive away and the food was lukewarm when we got home - most other Fish & Chips we have a 10-15 minute drive and the food is still piping hot! There are also much better tasting Fish & Chips around - it's worth taking the extra 10 minute drive to Broughton.

Food took 2 hours to arrive, and the quality was just OK and luke warm. Don't think I'll order again.

First impressions not good as Greasy Joe's kind of look from the outside. Nowhere to park. Very small portions. Very greasy fish and not the best quality. After eating at Moore's no comparison!

We’ve been waiting for our food for 2 and a quarter hours now. I can’t comment on the food. When I phoned the restaurant, they gave all sorts of excuses. Shan’t be using them again.

Visited here a few times and always underwhelmed but last visit was particularly bad - curry sauce was raw to the point it was solid when we got home, spring roll was microwaved and soggy, chips were green ... did not enjoy and won’t be going back!

Truly the worst fish and chips I have ever eaten; correction, it was inedible! The chips came in a cup from which came a congealed mass of greasy chips and surplus oil/fat.The cod was hard and dry and the batter was swimming in oil (long time since the cod had swum in the sea!!). Mushy peas were OK.Total cost for two was just under £19. a rip off.How they can get it so wrong is beyond me but I certainly will never go back.

I ordered af 6.41, First time I was given for my order 7.45, that was then changed to 8.15, 8.40 I cancelled, the guy then turned up at 8.55! Over 2 hours for a delivery from a chippy 3 miles away??? Not the first time this has happened, night ruined!!!I will not be using them again, if you want fish & chips don’t ask for delivery it’s appalling.....

Never ever have I been treated like this any where I ordered burger and chips for myself and fish and chips for my wife I will start with the fish it tasted old and a place pungent smell to it spoke to the manageress and her response had a lot to be desired if she can stand at the counter and ignore people then when ianaged to complain she was rude and told me what do I know about cooking when she went out the back I was called every name under the sun I could hear every word when I spoke to the cashier she told me that she is sorry and my burger won't be long out of a microwave to my the is out of order for a cashier to handleproblems the manageress is supposed to I won't be going there again

I was absolutely gobsmacked, the delivery, presentation and taste were amazing. I loved that everything came in a box so, not only did I not have to cook I didn't need to wash up either.😁 Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
