Almorcé aquí y me sorprendió gratamente la deliciosa comida. El personal fue muy amable y eficiente. Recomendaría

Whilst visiting Norwich, went into Debenhams for a browse round and decided to pop into their restaurant for afternoon tea. We were greeted by very welcoming staff and brilliant service. The various cakes we had with our tea were delicious. So glad we popped in!

La tienda está abierta todo el día, pero a la "hora del almuerzo tardía" todo lo que podían servir como salados era sopa o "tostadas". Parece una política extraña para alentar a los clientes a visitar y permanecer en la tienda. No es de extrañar que solo hubiera un puñado de clientes en el lugar. Lo que tuve (sopa de tomate y albahaca y un rollo) lo disfruté. Pero el servicio apenas estaba lleno de entusiasmo y varias personas detrás de mí en la fila simplemente se fueron por falta de opciones. Vamos Debenhams . . . . . Estás luchando por mantenerte abierto. . . . . . . . necesita alguna mejora,

Llegamos, esperamos y esperamos? sin servicio. . . . La gente frente a nosotros se alejó después de esperar tanto tiempo. . . Seguimos esperando! ¡Y esperando! ! . . . . la gente detrás de nosotros se fue. . así que después de unos buenos 20 minutos, simplemente nos fuimos. . . . ¡absolutamente asqueroso! ! ! ! Nunca volveré ni lo recomendaré

It calls itself a restaurant, but serves cake on a poor quality paper plate, hot drinks in cardboard beakers and has the cheek to charge top price. I have had a better experience in a greasy spoon. Very disappointed and will not be revisiting. However, tea was a good flavour.

Gave up on a meal went to M&S instead. Queued for over 20 minutes people ahead had to have children’s portion of the carvery as had run out of meat, also had run out of one choice of soup. They actually had our choice of meal but when I asked what vegetables as there was none on show she said they had to cook them, what and wait another 20 minutes forget it, we weren’t the only ones leaving the very long queue. All this was at 12.40 come on this is a lunchtime, get your act together. The lady on the till was just hanging about as nobody to serve. One member of staff was messing around with cupcakes which nobody was wanting but eventually came to serve, but there was no food to serve. Won’t ever bother going back there complete waste of time.

Called in here after shopping in store. They do a lovely pot of tea and the Jam & cream scones are delicious.... RECIPE PLEASE :) Service with a smile....

Thought with hardly any tables being used I would get a meal in god time, as a Diabetic I need to eat at certain times. I chose my roast dinner and the lady said I will leave it here for you so it doesn't go cold. I then waited for a drink, not sure why but it took forever, after 5 minutes of my roast sitting on the side I went to get my cutlery got back to my position and tray where I left it and the woman behind me was being served, it took so long to serve each individual, in the end I gave up and said oh I cant wait any longer a member of staff said what can I get you, I told her my roast dinner has been sitting on the side for 8 minutes and not hanging around any longer.

Got dragged round the store by the wife. She left me unattended in the make up bit so I struck up conversation with the only other man I could find in some attempt not to suddenly go all Ru Paul. Turns out this lad does the store security, how I’ll never know. He was hammered! His own two legs were failing him, he looked like death, smelt even worse and I’ve inown toddlers to string together better sentences. He did make me laugh though do cheers for that kid. As for the cafe, lovely coffee food smelt amazing, wife tells me I’m not allowed cake though.

We are here on a weekday morning. Everything was freshly cooked to order. We are vegetarian and the lady behind the counter was very helpful giving us our options. Food was hot and delivered to our table as they freshly cooked the sausages, eggs and toast. Very tasty. Very nice people. Very surprised it was so good and would eat breakfast there again. Great!

On third floor and plenty of space and staff very friendly .Cover all meals and good prices .great views along main road Great for kids

Visited here today and decided not to eat waited so long just for Carbs info on there beef lasagna that we gave up and left.

We decided to have a break from Christmas shopping and chose to have brunch in Debenhams. Lots of choices, friendly cheerful staff and lovely food. Quite busy which is always a good sign. Definitely coming here again. Good prices too.

Service average, a smile from the person on the till wouldn’t go a miss. Coffee just about drinkable, wouldn’t be difficult to find better. Scones were reasonable both cheese and fruit. Reminds me of a woks canteen! It wouldn’t be hard to find a better place in the City centre. Convenient if shopping in the store and want a sit down.

Para ser sincero, hay tantos lugares fabulosos para desayunar, además el servicio estaba bien. Si compara Jarrolds, simplemente NO hay competencia. Sin embargo, se adaptaba a un propósito para donde tenía que estar, pero no me rompería el cuello al regresar.

El personal era encantador, tenían un problema con su horno principal. No podrían haber estado más arrepentidos por la demora que no fue larga. Nos dieron una bebida caliente gratis por tener que esperar. El desayuno era bueno para tener un personal tan atento. Bien hecho Debenhams.

Fuimos en un grupo de 7 para el almuerzo. Pedimos patatas, sándwiches, sopa y bebidas.

Cuando visitamos este restaurante estaba claramente corto de personal con el personal que estaban de guardia corriendo como pollos sin cabeza, aunque no parecía estar muy ocupada (más de la mitad de las mesas estaban vacías), el personal se quejaba de que había una acumulación de pedidos, así pudimos servirnos durante varios minutos. Este café también sufre el problema que el mismo asistente hace las bebidas y toma el dinero. Si, por ejemplo, alguien quiere un café con leche, capuchino y un chocolate caliente, entonces estas bebidas tome algún tiempo para hacer. Mientras tanto, una cola frustrados rápidamente se acumula. Todo el lugar parecía ser totalmente desorganizado. Habiendo dicho todo esto, la calidad de nuestra comida, cuando finalmente llegamos, era razonable.

Paramos para tomar una copa, así que podía alimentar a mi niña. Por desgracia los ascensores estaban fuera de servicio al cliente ese día, así que tuvimos que esperar para un trabajador para llevarnos en las mercancías ascensor. No tuve que esperar mucho. Restaurante limpio y ordenado. Los precios normales para el centro de la ciudad de Norwich. La comida parecía realmente bonito. No hay mucha variedad de tarta pero era bastante tarde en día. Tío detrás del mostrador era muy servicial y complaciente.

Tener un día de chicas tienda tener cadenas de cartera en nuestro agotador ropa departamentos mayoría dentro de Debenhams como cada y todo el mundo tenía rieles venta en. Decidimos, después de 3 horas de parada para almorzar. Pensamos que sería probar el restaurante caramba agradable sorpresa una amplia zona de descanso, el personal es muy servicial y amable, disfrutamos de su pollo especial con chaqueta de patata y ensalada realmente agradable, buena selección del menú disponible una buena selección de cafés, postres no creo demasiado cara con buena relación calidad-precio. Sin duda merece la pena una visita.

Seriously awful breakfast. We left most of it. The sausages were pink and tasted of sawdust, fried bread disgusting, bacon dire, eggs just gloopy. Tea and toast were fine. Staff were quite grumpy. Won't bother again

Fuimos por unas compras con un amigo. El lugar no es crampled como la mayoría de los lugares de café centro de la ciudad, así que fue genial para poner mi cochecito de bebé, silla alta y todas las bolsas de compras.

Quick trip into the city before cinema led us here, we were greeted by a lovely friendly lad who was efficient and just generally lovely service was fast restaurant is clean tables are cleared quickly plenty of light bites available including cakes and toasties In general great value and service

Arrived at 1.30 with my friend after busy shopping morning. Both ordered jacket potatoes and were told they didn't have any for another 15 minutes. Ordered soup no rolls as they were being cooked so just had soup. Arrived at our table to discover my bowl was half the size of my friends with half the amount of soup!!!! We won't be returning!

Went for lunch today with my daughter. Ate cottage pie with vegetables. The pie was gorgeous and hot too but the broccoli a little hard. The staff were all super friendly and very helpful. It was busy but tables were promptly cleared and cleaned. We will return.

We stopped for a coffee the floor was quite dirty needed a good Hoover. Is beginning to look a bit tired. Coffee was ok, service a bit slow.

We'd driven from Boston for a few days in Norwich. Having parked the car we were looking for somewhere to have lunch, and chose Debenhams.The service was quite prompt despite there appearing to be just one person serving. The service was efficient and pleasant.The restaurant area did appear a bit uncared for but so do some others in the Debenham's chain that I have visited.The menu is fairly standard. The range is limited and more so as the day progresses.I think it is fair to say that it was good to have a rest from driving and walking but I would that we would have paid less for similar on a Costa.

Very surprised to be told at 1pm that jacket potatoes were no longer available. Should not have a permanent sign up offering said item. Ended up with two salads and a fish and chips which then was a 25 min wait.

Food of poor quality , fried bread inedible, fried egg cold, every table full of dirty cups and plates , waitress grumpy. Never again

I visited the restaurant during a weekday. Limited selection of food, especially for vegetarians but food available tasted good and at an affordable price. My only concern for the restaurant was the lack of staff, the queue was slow and tables had not been cleared. When staff members began to clear them, it was the same member of staff who had previously served the food. Overall good food, especially for card holders who get discount but could be improved with more staff.

Had bacon sausage egg in a baguette as quick snack, only £2.85 from memory so really cheap coffee decent quality too. Does what it says on the tin

Should of expected it just after new year but the food was awful and a long wait also. The supervisor was lovely and apologized but my meat pie meal was dry and tasted awful, my partners scampi was over cooked and had no taste. We didn't even have a drink. Other people complained and got money back and free coffees we didn't get either. We will never go in there again.

Popped in for coffee and snack and rather surprised to be served by a very grumpy waitress . Customer service costs nothing! However the fruit bread was very tasty and after toasting was brought to our table by a very polite young man. Drinks were hot and restaurant was very clean and tidy

Love the food in Debenhams restaurant. Plenty of seating. Staff very happy to accommodate requests. Hot food is delicious and the sandwiches are lovely. Good range of desserts and a children's section to choose from.

Very poor Breakfast due to it being cold.Service gives a plastic cover however I guess when it's cold at the start of the journey it gives little effect.Shame really the fried egg was hard, the bacon of good quality but undercooked, the sausage was the warmest part of the meal and again good quality.Good value but you would have to enjoy cold food.Mocha coffee excellent.I will speak to the staff before I leave. Manager in a meeting and sadly a long wait for the Supervisor, however on arrival she listened and was very polite with an immediate offer of a refund.This I accepted and advised that staff were helpful & polite, hopefully the catering equipment will be checked to make sure food is kept hot.I will visit again in a few months to check on improvement.

This place is nicely tucked away on the 3rd floor of Debenhams. They do a good selection of hot foods at a decent price and the seating is plenty and comfortable.The only problem is, the management of the service on the hot foods section is not so good, often you can wait there 20 minutes stood in a queue while they look for gravy, or bring out food which needs replacing.Theres only one person serving hot food which is not enough at times and they are very slow, they have to keep checking the temperature of the food (health and safety) which is annoying, but if they had more staff on this it would help.Prices are reasonable and I will be going again.

Same comment about the soup. It came quicker when I said I was on a short lunchbreak but its not something you would normally expect to wait this long for!

Plastic canteen food, cold bland sandwiches and snacks in a dark uninviting eating area and you have to queue for the privilage .

Two bowls of soup and toastie took 25minute sot be served - why they don't have soup pot like everywhere else only the lord knows - avoid - this is bad

Decided to give this restaurant a try for lunch as we wanted a late lunch and something light. We both had Jacket Potatoes that were delicious, served with plenty of filling and a nice side salad also resonably priced. Would go again when next in the city.

What is the point Debenhams? If you are going to serve breakfast, do it properly. You're a great store. Don't let your self down. Our breakfast this morning comprised burnt sausages (internal texture of sawdust) and burnt bacon. The food was COLD. We waited an age to be served. It was poor all around. I'd shut up shop and not bother. Standards in the 'restaurant' are obviously not the same as the store in general. Or at least they weren't today.

The choice of any six items for brunch was excellent.I had two bacon, two egg, one sausage, and toast .Pot of tea . Excellently cooked

Stopped here with a friend for a quick bite to eat & a cuppa. Not busy when arrived, menu quite basic but ordered 2 paninis & tea. Helpful service carrying trays for us when had pushchairs, not a long wait & food was there. Panini was a bit limp but mozerella tomato & pesto is pretty hard to get wrong. My friend had the tuna melt though and wasn't impressed, it had a tangy funky taste which left it unedible. Also cheap mayonnaise was nasty. Wouldn't return for food but maybe a drink.

I went here for a cup of tea, the atmosphere was nice and I was very pleased to be able to use the wi-fi to check my emails. Shame about the location of the toilets, makes it difficult if you are on your own with bags. Service was very good though.

Ridiculous posted review from May 2014. You expect people who work in Cafe's to know that level of detail on all medical conditions!? Why didnt you just stop and go somewhere else if you didnt think the staff had the knowledge of those conditions which frankly 99% of population wont have unless they are affected by it. Its reviews like these that make my blood boil, its nothing to do with the cafe / standard of food etc. im sure being coeliac / gluten free is a difficult condition to live with but the review is unfair and imbalanced.

During a visit to the city a group of 6 of us including 3 coeliacs/gluten free attempted to eat in Debenhams cafe. There were no options for a coeliac child and very begrudgingly we were given a pared down carvery meal of gammon meat, potatoes and peas. At the point where the member of staff used the same tongs to offer a Yorkshire I realised this team had zero knowledge or training in contamination aspects of coeliac disease or any idea what gluten actually is. I asked that fresh utensils be used and explained about the risks. With no confidence we sat down to wait for our other meals which arrived charred and rubbery due to being overcooked. Considering the cost I feel it was terrible value for money.The staff urgently need to be trained with regard to allergies/coeliac. A reference book on the wall and a couple of wrapped cakes do not create a gluten-free friendly environment. If you want a cup of tea then the cafe is fine but anything more then for goodness sake walk outside and look around as there is plenty of competition in the local area where you can get food that isn't just barely edible.
