Debenhams Restaurant in Nottingham

jacket spud was fossilised, normally an over cooked jacket spud would be burnt and carbonised this was beyond that it was a kin to what I would expect a fossilised mammouth poo to be, I can honestly say that if the ineptitude displayed in the production of what should have been a starchy feast of potatoy goodness is anything to go by then they should just give up the ghost and close.

We called there for a cream tea . We thoroughly enjoyed our cream tea had a lovely time there ,we where also surprised as it was near Christmas that we gotta seat.

Stopped off for lunch on shopping trip and was served cold vegetables and chips. Pies all liquid mainly gravy and sauce with little fillings. Small portions of side dishes that were cold by the time queued to pay then find a seat and obtain cutlery. Had to have two heavy trays to carry meal to table which was tricky maneuvering round cramped tables. Cake was old, dry and very stale and whole experience was awful with tables too close together giving no privacy to eat and converse. However floor staff in seating area very nicely mannered and helpful but established staff behind counter dishing up dinners seemed very disgruntled and fed up with customers. Come on Debenhams you can do better if you want to stay open and beat internet shopping..isn't it obvious the shoppers restaurant is one of the most important things to get right these days and also the toilets which weren't up to scratch and were dated, not very clean and unpleasant to use. I'm not sure if there's currently restaurant refurbishing planned however effort and hard work by sales staff in other departments and the shopping displays are being let down by bad management of restaurant and toilet area.

Popped in for lunch and opted for one of the hot dishes - fish goujons with sweet potato chips. Very tasty and freshly made. Sat overlooking Nottingham Market Sq on a sunny afternoon - lovely view. Plenty of seating and quite a variety of lunch choices for various tastes. Worth a visit.

We stopped for a hot drink and cake. It was useful to be able to help yourself to milk as I like my tea milky and therefore needed 2 servings. The slice of cake was very yummy. The restaurant is large and there were plenty of spare tables. The view out of the window was of the seasonal ice rink, really lovely. I'd definitely return for a hot drink and slice of something naughty again!

We were visiting nottingham for the christmas market and my wife said that she had been into sheffield debenhams for a cup of tea and a cranberry scone said it was nice, so on that idea we popped in to the nottingham debenhams for elevens, we got a nice leather chair my wife went to get the order, after returning we counted 20 tables all with pots on, and a women who worked there on the phone, customers were moving pots onto other tables, the women came round with a tray wheeler got most of the trays, wiped most of the table, but not all, some of the pots on the table had tea stains. our scones were lovely the tea was nice, i think you need to set somebody on who clears the tables all the time, you get clients who are elderly and they like to be in a clean place.

Having been to Nottingham Races I decided to pop into Debenhams for a Cake and a Drink. I was very impressed by the selection of cakes and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Visited here last week with friend for drink and snack. We had a pot of tea and coffee plus fruit scone and cheese scone we found them a little dry and of average size. Cups would have done with stain removal.

Very friendly staffs and helpful,good ham and cheese toastier ,chocolate and orange muffin and a nice mug of hot Chocolate drink

We came here for lunch and decided on the freshly baked delicious looking berry scones. They didn't fail to impress as they tasted just as good as they looked. Tea and a scone at a reasonable price, what more could you want? Nice place, plenty of seating with nice views over Nottingham market square, good selection of food available and pleasant staff. I'll definitely be coming here again.

Very similar to what you experience at Marks & Spencer restaurant, a pleasant, clean place to grab a small snack or meal away from the hussle and bussle of shopping, good staff, neat menu well worth a visit.

On the way from Nottingham races I paid a visit to Debenhams restaurant and had a lovely cream scone and a drink for a most reasonable £3.85 in a relaxing environment overlooking Nottingham City Centre. The staff were friendly and a pleasant day was topped off with a delicious cake.

Stopped here yesterday morning 06/09/2018 at 09:40 for breakfast before shopping for last minute holiday clothes, The breakfast seemed a good price for 8 items for £6. but the food was very cold, although I did enjoy the coffee.

The restaurant is very pleasant relaxed and staff helpful. Self service but happy to assist if needed and plenty space not to mention the lovely view over the market square. Especially nice at Christmas when tree lit. There is a good selection of food choices and the roast dinners very good value

Good variety of food get food really quick but always a queue to pay very slow food cold by the time you have paid need to speed up paying service

Na een wandeling door de stad nog wat kleding gekocht bij Debenhams. Op de bovenste etage gebruik gemaakt van de schone toiletten en aansluitend een lunch. Ruime keuze warme en koude gerechten en dranken.

I have just popped in for lunch and decided I would have a baked potato with a cup of coffee. I was served up a small dried up potato with a spoonful of tuna mayonnaise. No garnish or butter. £4-60 !!! I tried to find a clean table without empty dirty crockery. Impossible so I had to clear it myself. There were only 11 occupied tables at this point, 13-45hrs on a Wednesday afternoon. There are many lovely restaurants in Nottingham which serve edible food and clear up after previous customers. If I could have given a zero score I would have.

visted for breakfast friend had cooked breakfast I asked gluten free menu everything I asked for was told could not do had gluten free bread asked for this to be toasted could not do as had to toast with ordinary bread so had nothing no fresh fruit wanted banana how much does it cost to provide toaster for people with allergies
