Meat was lovely in the carvery as being gluten free u thought id be having a dry dinner,but the very kind server offered to make me gluten free gravey.exellent service ,clean and very nice staff

Went for a birthday meal for 12 , me and my mum had the carvery it was cold , when I asked for help to sort I found the manager with a thermometer checking food . I explained ours was cold she said well its warm here . This made me feel like I was telling lies so I insisted that she come to my table and check my food herself . After then realising I was telling the truth offered for me to go back where new food had been topped up . The food was very mediocre beef like tough leather roast potatoes cooked within an inch of their life. My husband and other people in party had food off menu which also was just adequate . This is a place I would never visit again. Only plus was the lovely lady behind bar and one of the waiting staff who helped me get my mums carvery for a second time

Went for Sunday roast and what I had was very nice I'm just a picky eater and the beef was too fatty and tough but I passed it to my partner .

Lovely food. All staff were friendly especially Lauren who checked in with us during and after the meal. The only negative was the restaurant was very warm I felt quite uncomfortable and didn’t want to stay for another drink

Claire was lovely and welcoming quick service nice food and a good lunch time deal offer. Would come again for lunch kids area nice.

Now I've gave it a fair chance as ve been twice now but no more and I wouldn't advise anyone to go there. First time in February went for a roast dinner the veg was overcooked and ive no idea what had happened to the mash potato it looked lovely but tasted sour - inedible - so roast potatoes meat and Yorkshire pudding was all I ate off my plate. This last time gave them another chance but ended up just with meat and roast potatoes, no Yorkshire pudding in sight, veg again looked overcooked, soggy and burnt round the edges and I'm off mash for life after the last attempt. It's a shame as the staff I spoke to are lovely, the carparking is plenty and it's in a decent to get to place.

Called in to dearn valley for tea, my birthday treat with hubby, kids and grandkids, was met by a lovely fella, they called him Dale, he quickly showed us our table and really made a fuss over kids aswell as me with it being my birthday! Very polite and attentive! He's an absolute credit to the farmhouse company! Definitely will be back again! Thanks again Dale! 👏👏
