May I begin by saying I am not an expert but a keen amateur. I have a Rancilio Sylvia classic and Rancilio Rocky Grinder and my own belief is that the type of been you need corresponds to your Grinder and setting. May I also say these coffee beans are all excellent, but I have found different results with each of them. With Papercup I have serious channelling I believe there is much more moisture in the bean andto be honest didn’t get a decent pull on any shots. Tin donkey was a great tasting coffee, but again I had to adjust my grind setting which is at zero on the rocky; despite numerous attempts at both paper cup and tindonkey I failed miserably. however I have 100% success with DearGreen on any of their beans. I don’t think there is much difference in the quality of these beans- I think it comes down to user error or capacity to pull good shots. I have learned to clean out my Grindr courtesy of Gail from Seattle coffee ha ha and I’ve owned this machine for roughly 10 years. DearGreen coffee works for me I hope you find this helpful

This cafe sits at the entrance to the Briggait Centre with a view of the River Clyde and the majestic Gothic style City Union Bridge. The cafe sells its own brand of roasted coffee and has some great looking and tasting cakes. They have various coffee related items for sale - I especially liked the recycled jute coffee bags. A good view of the Clyde river front and they have free table football to keep the kids and bug kids happy. 'Dear Green Place' is a play on the meaning of 'Glasgow' and the roastery is elsewhere - visits can be arranged.

Went for afternoon tea with my friend and was certainly not disappointed, the owner of the shop was a lovely friendly person and the sandwiches scones and cakes etc were delicious, we were also given a welcoming soft drink with little exploding fruit bubbles which was a pleasant surprise . I would definitely recommend a visit wherever you live in Glasgow or surrounding areas it’s well worth it. Anything left over you get a box to take home

Delicious veggie food We stopped in for brunch on a sunny Saturday. I was intrigued by the smashed peas on sourdough, and it was not a disappointment! Deliciously minty with spring onion and a hint of chilli. The halloumi on top was perfect. A good selection of teas and coffees, and other juices etc. A brilliant option for veggie or vegan breakfast, lunch, or brunch. I came back the next day to get some of their fantastic pastries!

Really disappointed after reading about the hype surrounding this place. Overall it looked the part and had a quirky style but there was little genuinely Turkish about it. Service was ok however was restricted to bringing out the food as you had to order it through an over engineered app resulting in my cake being brought to me before my lunch. Coffee was decent but nothing special, cake was dry and the shawarma was like something from a cheap kebab shop - wouldnt rush back.

My first visit during my Glasgow stay. Came here and had a late breakfast consisting of a raisin scone and a pot of tea. Super cozy atmosphere, feels like a local regular cafe. Very nice owner who gave me some tips on other places to visit nearby.
