Dayi's Kebab & Pizza Van in Chelmsford

First time ordering and it was absolutely lovely!

Love the burger van in SWF, with the cost of living crisis haven’t been able to afford a takeaway for ages, finally decided to splash out because it’s my birthday and they’re shut for 2 weeks because of holidays. What a total let down! Extremely disappointed.

Sorry guys kebabs really good but the Turkish salad for £8 terrible just seemed like the usual free salad with a few bits of halloumi so disappointing.

Food always piping hot. Always delicious never tight on ingredients. This is my number 1 for south woodham ferrers and open till midnight where no one else is. Staff very friendly with speedy delivery. 😂 Sorry not full picture got hungry before review

This spot is perfect from dinner all way till pubs kick out and only one that remains open in south woodham ferrers till 12am

We arranged a large delivery as a buffet for a party and it was excellent. Over 20 pizzas plus garlic breads, kebabs and hot wings and it was ell perfect, piping hot and delicious. They even lent us foc chafing dishes to keep the food hot throughout the event. Incredibly impressed

Best pizzas - loads of cheese and toppings. Can beat for toppings vs base. Friendly delivery.

My family wanted a quick, easy meal and they delivered. Excellent food and excellent delivery, just what we needed. Would totally recommend, go here, do not question it. Would go back again and again, food is scrummy and what you expect from a kebab van

Went and ordered a cheesy chips and chicken kebab. Has the chicken kebab knocked out of my hands by other customers. It was not replaced and I was told to order a new one. It was very poor service

Always good food from the kebab van. Cant say ever had bad food. Chicken kebab is great and kids enjoy the range of kids options.

Always delicious and generously portioned. I can certainly vouch for the burgers, kebabs, pizzas and chips. Have been in South Woodham since long before the burger van so have been a customer since day, I can honestly say I’ve never had a problem or a bad experience. Would definitely recommend.

Great Kebab! Great chips! Great everything, there's one thing missing for my personal view and one they could potentially invest in. Go online so we can order on there, no other kebab has this in SWF people may do this instead. Scenario, we have finished a long week at work and just want to slum in our PJ's, it's 6pm and we are hungry but can't be bothered to get dressed, so we go on the Dayi's kebab website to order and it comes within 30mins-1hr because they only deliver in SWF. Make this happen!

Had a chicken kebab. Chicken pre cooked all dry and it didn't taste nice. The salad was ok only two stars as I have been alot of times meat not always hot . And not right order at times.

I highly recommend a visit here. After a very disappointing meal at a local restaurant we opted to go for a kebab & I must say we made the right choice, lovely friendly staff & delishious food, we will visit again rather than wasting our money on rubbish restaurants

Never been disappointed with the food here. Always pretty quick at deliveries and the pizza is really tasty. You can get two for one at other restaurants locally but it is well worth paying the extra for Dayi's pizza.

Amazing, chicken kebab was moist and perfectly cooked, chilli sauce is a handful but super flavourful good with chicken and the acidity of the red cabbage, will be ordering again fast delivery, friendly staff super job guys!!!

Terrible food. Dry over cooked kebab meat , flavourless dry chicken and £5 for a piece of kofte which was also over cooked and dry and tough . £25 for two kebabs and chips !! Never again .

I have a long standing tradition with my Dad. Whenever I come for a visit, the very first thing we do is come here for a kebab and chips. If I didn't live in a different country, I'd happily eat here once a week...it's so good!

Did not like it it was very terrible.WHEN THE FOOD ARRIVED IT WAS COLD AND VERY DRY!!! PLEASE IMPROVE OTHERWISE YOU WILL LOOSE A CUSTOMER AND YOU WOULD NOT WANT THAT!!!:( :(

The kebabs are really good here, the staff are firendly and helpful with hints and tips for those who need a little lead! The food always seems fresh, hot and the kebabs are full of meat and salad.

What started out as a kebab van is now a shop, sort of, with a conservatory for customers to stand in! Sounds strange, and it is but the Not the Kebab Van is a local legend. Burgers, pizza, etc are also available. Plenty of parking , it's on the side of a car park

Good prices and great food. Don't have to wail long either (unless it's busy, but even then the wait isn't that long)

If you like Turkish Cuisine then you will like the food prepared by this takeaway venue. The staff there are very friendly & helpful, you can pick up the food from their restaurant or if you wish have it delivered to your home. They have a very good menu which would suit all tastes, all their food is freshly cooked & can be purchased for a very reasonable price.

i did not like the kebabs and the salad was not fresh. and delivery was to long when my food came it was cold. im dissapointed :( :(

Greatest Kebab I've Ever Tasted. Great Food and Quick Delivery! I would definitely recommend Dayi's, especially when family comes around. A large meal put onto the table brought a smile to everyone's face. The staff worked their hearts out to ensure our food was in top quality!
