There is not a daygos by I don’t think about how vile this bistro is.

Food fabulous staff lovley cannot wait for next visit.

Daygo's is my favourite place for breakfast. The staff are so polite and friendly and the food and lattes are amazing.

Fabulous food and cocktails. Nothing wasted . Compliments to the chef and the staff .

Had the Mexican themed afternoon tea, the food was a little cold and tasteless. Such a shame as I had heard amazing things about this place. Would have been well worth the money though, service surroundings and staff lovely

Honest review: The food was all served on one board, hot & cold food, sweet & savoury all together. I think I'd have preferred if at least the hot food was served separately to the cold desserts. The hot food (basket of fish & chips, Yorkshire pud with half a sausage & gravy, espresso cup of soup) was all delicious but if you like your food piping hot then it's probably not for you. It was served hot but it's impossible to eat three hot dishes simultaneously. I ate the Yorkshire pudding hot & really enjoyed it but mum ate hers later in the meal & wasn't as keen. The desserts were OK. The cheesecake was soggy and difficult to move from the board to the plate. My piece had actually collapsed before I came to eat it, i imagine from the heat and steam of the hot food around it. It had also "leaked" for want of a better word and made the bottom of the scone soggy too. I can't comment on taste for either the scone or bakewell tart as neither have been eaten yet. The drinks available were juice, mocktail, tea or coffee. I had tea and mum had a cappuccino but it was one of those powdered sachets so too sweet to drink if you don't usually take sugar in your coffee. We could have swapped except she doesn't drink tea either. There was the option to purchase other drinks but we chose not to & water was brought to the table when requested. The service was OK. We were the only people in the place which doesn't make for a great atmosphere. We were only given one set of cutlery (had to ask for a second set) despite there being multiple hot & cold and sweet & savoury foods. I'd have perhaps expected a cake fork & spoon alongside the knife and fork. I've eaten here once before but for dinner, not afternoon tea, and I would have thoroughly recommended it, hence buying mum the afternoon tea voucher for Christmas. I wouldn't necessarily recommend the afternoon tea in this format but the menu does change each month. I think I'm probably more of a traditionalist when it comes to afternoon tea and would prefer to see fewer hot food options and more traditional items as the plate just felt a little confused. I liked the idea of hot food on an afternoon tea much more than the reality.

Had our managers baby shower afternoon tea here the food was very nice warm food soup salad then all the lovely sweet treats friendly staff can recomend

Intimate bistro. Friendly staff, reasonably priced, very nice food the sea bass was lovely. You need to book ahead I would say to avoid disappointment. Would certainly go back.

Went for a Friday evening meal. Great food which was very tasty, the waitresses were excellent and very friendly and chatty. Lovely place to go. Gingerbread cheesecake was delicious.

Absolutely lovely! Came here on friends recommendation, for a little goodbye tea and drinks with several cooworkers and it was a brilliant experience. Very clean place, professional staff, great atmosphere and absolutely delicious food 😊 The food was really one of the best I had from many restaurants. Would never think such a gem is hidden somewhere in Wath. 100% would recommend and I'm definitely coming back.

Went for the valentine's 4 course meal and it was a fabulous evening. The staff are friendly and the food and drinks were lovely. Will definitely be returning for another meal in the future.

A Little Gem in Wath. We have eaten there 3 times in as many weeks. Last night we went for my Stepson Jack's Birthday who is a qualified Chef, we had 2 x Fillet Steaks with Peppercorn Sauce & a Daygo Burger. Plus Cocktails. During the meal we had a running commentary from Jack on the Beautiful Presentation, the Perfect Portions & a simple but effective Menu. His final words. That was near perfect (apparently you can't actually say it's perfect or they might sit on their Laurels) I can say it was PERFECT.

I would highly recommend this family run Bistro. Good service, friendly atmosphere and excellent food. I will definitely be going back. 👍👏👌🥂

Second visit, and always delicious food, priced very well with satisfying portion sizes. Excellent service from pleasant and engaging staff. You will want to leave a tip so take cash as they don't take tips via card. My only criticism, hence 4 stars, drinks are a little pricey. Food, 5 star definitely.

We have dined at DAYGOS twice now and could not recommend this small family run business enough. The service was friendly and professional and the food & cocktails absolutely delicious! We loved this so much the first time that I brought my parents back to try who loved it just as much! Keep up the amazing work team DAYGOS! Can’t wait to come back soon! X

Happy wife equals happy life and this place did not disappoint one iota. Beer was fantastic and the food was amazing and well presented 🙂. The Service was phenomenal. We are definitely going back once they have availability to fit us in.

Booked a meal for 12 of us for a get together . First time I've been and won't be my last . Its a lovely bistro staff are very friendly and service was very quick for both drinks and food .Cocktails were amazing . There's lots of choice on the menu to cater for different dietary needs & everyone commented how nice their food was . Thoroughly enjoyed our evening Thankyou x

Absolutely fantastic little bistro, best food I’ve had for a long time, myself and wife couldn’t praise this place more! All the staff were fantastic, very attentive, fantastic service, Emma was manning the bar and Amber hosting the bistro, absolutely fantastic! Thoroughly enjoyed it, and the prices were top notch for top notch food!

Absolutely superb service from start to finish and the food is excellent. Staff are lovely, helpful and sooo accommodating. We will definitely be visiting again 😊. Highly recommended this place for a quality meal with a fantastic atmosphere 👌

What a wonderful little Bistro. Charming, friendly, affordable and a great atmosphere. We had Mussels in White Wine with a Warm Bread Roll and Butter, Tempura Prawns with a delicious Chilli dip ( no picture as my better half dove straight in), followed by 8oz perfectly cooked Fillet Steak with Daygos Sauce 😍 and Succulent Chicken Snitzel with a Lemon Butter and Parsley Sauce. We didn't think we would have room for dessert but managed to squeeze it in 🤣 with Tart of The Week (warm Bakewell) with Vanilla Ice cream, Mixed Icecream for my other half with an Affogato to finish. It was all fabulous and the prices were so reasonable. The staff are really lovely and we will definitely be back. Absolutely 💯 recommend this place.

Given two stars for the friendly service. The visit to Daygo's has left me with a dentist bill to pay for now. A chicken burger should never have bones in it, very basic mistake to make and blaming suppliers is no excuse. It is obvious that the restaurant uses frozen (not fresh) meat too. The seabass was worthy of a praise but 1 out of 3 meals worthy of praise does not bode well. Still, the restaurant has not been open long so let's see if they can accept criticism.
