This is an excellent chippy! The portions are large, and the fish was very nicely battered and cooked. Definitely worth a visit

Best place I've had fish n chips, Unfortunately, I only went once because i recently learned that they cook fish n chips in the same oil as the pork so I will no longer be going here (Religious Reasons) but I do highly reccomend this place. The ladies at the counter are lovely, kind, and always ready to serve with a smile. I hope one day they can cater to people like me who eat halal foods only.

Getting too expensive to go regularly and the size of the fish seems to be getting smaller, just not worth the price anymore.

As a regular customer at the Ring O' Bells, I have never had anything other than a great meal. In particular,the fish has always been the highlight. So good!

Best chippy around. Been today and food was amazing as usual had the cod and chips meal and the portions were massive. Absolute bargain and that curry sauce wow best I've had in a long time. I'm hooked ill be back next Friday lunchtime. Thank you.

Had what was called Small Fish Meal, which was a fish, chips and mushy peas. Was superb and wasn't that small because I couldn't finish it. My sister-in-law had a Doner Kebab and some my chips. She loved it.

I have been going to this place for over 5 years, and I have to say the entire experience has been amazing. The staff are wonderful, the food is delicious, the portion sizes are extremely generous and if there is a queue, the wait is always worth it, even in heavy rain. Sure the prices have gone up, but everything is still well-priced. I will continue to come here even if I move away from the area.

lovely little chippy! first tried it a few months ago as it’s around the corner from my boyfriends. the staff are friendly, very clean, food is beautiful! my favourite chippy by far you can tell all the food is fresh, very cheap/affordable, packaging is great, good size portion definitely worth the money! i reccomend sausage chips and curry sauce!

Called in on the way to work, wow, lovely fish was freshly cooked, and the chips lovely, just the right amount didn't over face just right. Definitely go back!

Nowhere near what it used to be .

Right so this place is actually racist the ladies working here make you feel quite uncomfortable just entering even though you're paying for food they be lovely & chatty to everyone else and then they completely turn bipolar when they see someone of colour. First time i thought maybe they're having a bad day but it's the 5-6th time now and sorry to say i won't be bringing my business back here

I popped in for a small fish and chip meal came with curry sauce. Was fantastic value for money. My son loved it said it was lovely and very tasty.

Called in whilst I was out and about. I was so hungry and bought the battered cod it was delicious. Big flakes of cod in a delicious non greasy batter. I'll definitely return.

We have never been served a meal less than 5 star. We trust this chippy so much that we have waited to get home from a day trip to Whitby, to dine here, rather than chance anywhere else.

Popped for bit of lunch and wow, the chips are awesome and the fish slice / scallop is a prize winner, batter nice n crisp and beautiful white fish in the middle. Certainly going there again .

£6.95 mini cod meal served in a box with a decent portion of chips, mushy peas (beans or curry available) .The fish is always white, and the batter light and crispy. Its a popular chipshop, so the food is always hot, due to the quick turnover.

Be going to this chippy for a long time but I’ve noticed the fish as got smaller and smaller over time. Used to go every week won’t be going again after today at one end of the the fish it was mainly batter hardly any fish and not so much at the other end. Sorry.

Staff always happy and friendly. Food nice 99 times out of 100. Only chippy we use. Gets very busy but the staff are quick. All round good service
