Dawaat Tandoori in Lewisham

Fuimos a la última noche, esperaba un dawaat encantadora Navidad curry.Éramos 4 adultos y 4 niños. Nos son enormes ventiladores de curry y granizo desde el norte, así que quizás son algunos de mimar con la mejor cocina asiática. Sin embargo, nos pareció que la ubicación prestigiosa se reflejarían en una comida de calidad.Pedimos 4 platos con arroz y pan 4 3 y 2 Bombay aloo nan y 5 porciones de poppadum. Normalmente, esto es más que suficiente, pero cuando las porciones llegamos nos enormemente decepcionada y acabé pidiendo más arroz y pan justo a granel. Las comidas vino en tazones ligeramente más grande que una taza de huevo. El pollo tikka tenía 4 piezas de pollo y eso fue todo. Los sabores eran nada especial y el korma era excepcionalmente picante que no es cómo un korma debería ser.Le recomendamos que también la ley como algunas sorpresas traición e. g licores parecía doble - £12 por un vodka y limonada!Factura total fue de £180. 25 para un curry para 8. Nuestro local curryhouse hubiesen cobrado £100 por exactamente la misma comida y bebidas y nos hubiera llevado una carga en casa.La comida en sí no era para morirse. Así que, en general, una experiencia aburrida y cara.

Realmente no haber oído sobre Dawaat Restaurante, mi amigo y yo pensamos probarlo.Bueno, qué puedo decir, me quedé muy impresionado por el servicio que recibimos de su conocimiento, Mahabub del menú era bastante impresionante y sus condiciones ee eran deliciosos, nunca nos sentimos presionados y el ambiente era agradable y acogedor. Las bebidas llegó rápidamente y no hubo un momento en que teníamos que esperar para conseguir la atención de Mahabub estuvo muy atento que era como él tenía ojos en la parte trasera de su cabeza!Él sabía exactamente cuándo venir o mira en nuestra dirección, no hay nada peor que tratar de conseguir alguien atención.Todo lo que puedo decir es que este hombre era increíble y nos gustaría volver, sólo porque el nivel de servicio que recibimos. Bien hecho que un empleado Dawaat super estrellas entre vosotros.

I ordered from hear because of the good reviews I had read... It lived up to the good ones!! Nice and hot, quick delivery and very tasty . Also they took note to my request for it to be extra spicy.

Delicious food and there is always plenty. Pretty much always have enough for lunch the following day. Well priced and arrives within an hour, even on busy nights.

Ordering second time from this place. Food is delicious and good quality.delivery on time or earlier. So overall-great service.will definitely use it again!

Food was delivered promptly but was lacking in flavour and not much meat portions, just smal pieces and full of sauce to make it look like plenty ,not happy with the amount for the price paid not happy,will not be using them again and they will not be recommended

There was no free mince sauce mango chutney,,Bit dissapointed with that 😚

The only problem with the food was the chicken madras curries, they were too hot, more of the heat of a vindaloo, If you order a just an ordinary curry it's too mild so you can't win.

An elegant restaurant in Strand Palace Hotel serving very tasty cuisine without being too fussy. The prices were very reasonable too.

After I started eating I remember that I wasn't so impressed with the food last time that I ordered from them. Surprisingly for me the food is not as great as some of the other take aways despite Dawaat having the best reviews in the area. Oh well, I'm hoping that by writing this review that I remember next time to order from somewhere else.

Some of the food was cold even though the containers were hot. Did not think much of the food.

Chicken curry too mild and the chicken madras too hot, the madras is more like a vindaloo.

Tried this takeaway a several times,wow i am very satisfied with their service:delivery time fantastic also it came slightly earlier than i expected,quality was superb,the food was fresh also still warm,to conclude the service all over was fabulous if i could rate this takeaway out of 10 it would be 10.

We came across a write up on this takeaway by the Evening Standard which prompted our order tonight. Delivery was fast, the Tikka Butter chicken, the onion bhaji, prawn on puri, pilau Rice, & Peshwari nan we received was delicious & definitely warrants their awards. Will be making future visit to try other dishes from the menu...

no matter how hard i try i have been unable to find a better take away service, with such hot tasty food, for a really competitive cost.I wholeheartedly recommend I would say to anyone to try the Dawaat Tandoori and i bet you will go back time and time again.

Lamb Tikka Massala was so tough it actually made me gag trying to chew it. Onion bhajis were dry and greasy at the same time. The Korma was so overpoweringly flavoured with coconut it tasted like you were eating shower gel. Nothing tastes fresh or complex, all one note and boring. Definitely better curry houses in the area.

absolutely lovely food. Tender lamb, really lovely onion bhaji's. Delivery was very quick, just 35 minutes. Will be buying from them again! Excellent value and excellent taste! Very pleased. 👍

The food wasn't that great and arrived late. The man who delivered it complained that they don't deliver over 4 miles and that they would charge extra next time but when I checked the distance on just eat it was 3 miles away. In summary bad food with worse service would not recommend.

Took almost 2 hours to deliver and required several phone calls to chase them. Food was nothing special, just average for an indian takeaway, if anything the lamb used had a fair amount of sinew in it, so very chewy.

Late and the food had no flavour won't order again.

I am very picky with my food and reluctant to try new places but I have to say I was very impressed! Delivery took about 1hr 15mins but they were within their estimated time so I cant really complain! Very good food, I would highly recommend! :) thank you

Been looking for a 'go to' curry house near Bromley.. We've found it! Delicious meal and complimentary poppadoms are always a nice touch. Will definitely return

Good food, good value. The chicken in the masala was very soft and tender. The puri bread didn't travel well as it sweated in the container and was soggy when it arrived but the prawns that accompanied it were tasty. Overall I was pleased with Dawaat.

This is the first Indian meal that I have ever struggled to find any flavour with. Very disappointing.

The meal was excellent and everything i had hoped for. I can see why they have such a high rating. Unfortunately, the delivery was a bit slow due to the driver not knowing where we lived and didn't fully understand the directions but he was very apologetic and sincere. Overall, it was a great experience as first time customers of Just Eat (don't cook)!

HI I WAS TRY FAST TIME. THIS TAKE AWAY WAS FANTASTIC THEY CALLED TO MAKE SURE I PUT THE RIGHT DELIVERY TIME, THEN CALLED TO TELL US WHEN THE MEAL WAS ON ITS WAY. THE DELIVERY DRIVER WAS POLITE AND APOLOGIZED FOR BEING TEN MINUTES LATE. THE FOOD WAS BEAUTIFUL IT WAS PIPING HOT AND THE MEAT WAS TENDER AND TASTY. OVERALL THIS TAKE A WAY PROVED TO BE A GREAT EATING EXPERIENCE SO THE PORTION SIZE WAS EXCELLENT AND THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD IS MORE THAN 10 STARS, I WILL BE USING DAWAAT TANDOORI AGAIN I HAVE TRIED MANY RESTAURANTS AND TAKE A WAY IN THIS AREA AND THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST EVER MAKING A HUNGRY TUMMY HAPPY. What a find! The delivery was well within the allotted time and piping hot. The food was to an excellent standard and very flavoursome. The coconut rice was a good size and my chicken tikka massalla didn't have that layer of oil that I've had at from other curry houses. The free popadoms and veggie sides were a nice touch too.
