The food was very greasy food went to waste batter was overcooked and coated in grease rolls were dry I heard this was meant to be nice won’t be ordering here again big waste of money

Good was cold and cod was soggy

Food was okay the fish seemed a bit tough (chewy)

Chicken was nice however chips were very hard and not nice at all driver tried to deliver to wrong door even tho all doors have numbers clearly on them it was only when I shouted him

Ordered at 4.45, estimated delivery 5.30. Delivery time went up to 7.39 which was unacceptable. Collected it myself at 6.30 as it was no fault of the fish bar. Very disappointed, as it cost me £12 extra to collect it myself.

Nikki is the most amazing lady - we ordered via Just Eat and had an absolute nightmare with the delivery service but Nikki was an absolute star and helped us however she could. The chips here are unbelievable, best in the area by far - highly recommend if you want proper chip shop chips! Generous portions too! Thank you Nikki!

Fish batter was like rubber. Fish tasted horrible had to throw it away. Never used before never will again.

The fish was over cooked, the chips were very dry and the sausage roll was even quite dry and hard. It was only the chicken that was not overcooked and was moist.

Portion sizes were generous and delivery on time. However, the chips were overdone, yet still soggy and had I been in NZ, I would have thought the fish was shark as opposed to cod as it was not fresh and hinted of ammonia. the batter was like boiler insulation. sorry, but not impressed and we threw most of it away.

Time kept getting extended past when it was originally being delivered. Rang to try and cancel the order and the man completely ignored my instruction as I explained it was going to be so late that we would not be in now and they were only preparing it ! So could have been cancelled easily !

Does salad on burger really just mean few pieces of lettuce.. won't order again

No one picked uo my order at all order it at 7 and had to pick it uo myself at 8! Unbelievable from jjst eat! Davis fish shop brilliant! And very understanding

the delivery driver threw it onto the front door mat & sped off before checking the food had been received.

Just found the fish very dry and the chips tasted like the the paper that was wrapped in.

Fish was very nice, crispy batter and good quality fish. Chips were nice but were cold.

curry sauce was more like chilli sauce, couldn't use it. the gherkins was soft and tasted like water, not pickled at all. fish had bones in and batter stuck to paper. food was cold as was 30 mins late was unsure if that was due to driver.

Delivery time kept constantly changing, Chicken burger bun was soggy, cheeseburger was cold with no sauce or salad in it. Very disappointed as food is normally good from here!

Delivery service is terrible. I had to contact the restaurant twice to chase up my order. The order was placed at 5.55pm and we received our order at 8.20pm. Fortunately the owner of the restaurant offered to deliver our food as the Just drivers did not collect our food. Just eat need to check there delivery details as they told me that the order was delivered at 18.39pm which was incorrect. Will not be using just eat for any deliveries in the future as most orders have turned up late. The Manager of the restaurant was very helpful and will in future collect from them directly rather than use just eat.

The chips were rubbish went straight in bin pie was dry and looked outdate and missing items don't ever order from this place it's a joke disgusting

Lovely haddock, good portions fast and fresh, enjoyed by everyone. Also the price was great considering it was about £7 a head.

The food wasn't very warm, and the beans were messing from the meal deal. It's normally really good from here. This was the worst I've had from them, disappointing.

The most worst takeaway I've had since ordering from here. Kebab meat was chewy and dry. Chicken pieces were dry, items missing and garlic mayo was grey!. Sorry to say but I will not be ordering again.

Once again Davis Estate Fish Bar delivered top quality food and plenty of it. Great place to order from, always reliable, would give six stars if I could. Highly recommended

Chips were great as always from here, but kebab meat was cold and dry. If the pitta bread underneath is also dry then you know that something isn't right

Absolutely lovely fish and chips. A medium does 3 of us easily. As expensive as it seems, (it isn’t in comparison) for this level of quality, a couple of pounds more, is worth it. Best fish and chips are always from an estate that rely on true word of mouth. And this does not disappoint!

Food was lovely as always… however, I was very disappointed in the Quarter Chicken. In my 30+ years of getting a Quarter chicken and chips, from a Fish and Chip shop, it has always been, a deep fried breast on bone Qtr, well fried so that the skin is crispy. A thigh, barely fried… nah. Never, why would one even have to ask?

Opened the food and a fly was in side. Meat completely awful.

Disappointed. Onion rings were soggy and chips tasted like dirt as if they'd been cooked with the dirt on them. Not pleasant at all.

Very late. Rang the take away shop and was told they left half hour ago Told nothing they could do contact Just Eat. Tried that and was charged in excess of £6 for the call. Outrageous

Fish was a big size and tasty chips was ok but the sausage in batter wasn't nice at all tasted like warmed up but I would try one more time

The food was really delicious but we ordered for 5:45 delivery and it arrived at 18:05 with a burger missing. The restaurant were great at resolving the issue and promptly delivering a replacement which complimentary extra chips, but as they were sure they had included it, it seems we may have had a dishonest driver which is a real shame :(

Last two orders have not been as good as previous one's. Cod has been overcooked. Will probably collect in future as it has always been very good
