We spent a lovely weekend at this hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, our room was comfortable and the food is truly excellent. The Little Lodge is a great addition to the hotel. It has a trendy, modern vibe and the street food is excellent. A real asset to the area. The hotel is within walking distance of Ashburton, a charming little town, full of independent shops, restaurants and coffee bars. The hotel is located right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and a short drive to many excellent attractions and to the coast. We would highly recommend a stay here.

We had my daughter's wedding ceremony and evening function held here. It was lovely

We spent a night here due to its location to Ashburton centre. The staff are really lovely and the breakfast was nice. The bedrooms are old styled but it is still lovely and sweet. We had an issue with a noisy fan, but we asked if it could be changed and before we got back to the room, we had it replaced. If you aren’t up yourself, it’s a great place for a great price.

Promotion for 2 for 35 pound is absolutely insane 🤩🤩🤩 so nice food , and service and atmosphere 🤩🤩❤️ I will recommend for everyone 👍🏼👍🏼

I had my 50th birthday party there, the room was great, the buffet was delicious all in all it was a fantastic evening

Just had a lovely two day stay at this place. Thoroughly enjoyed. Room very comfortable, breakfast and supper superb. Nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of tea/coffee in room along with yummy biscuits. Will definitely come back.

Reasonable Sunday Roast, but mix up with price and portion size for OAP's. £6 for a pint of Guinness!

Great place to break for lunch etc. when travelling on the M5.. welcoming atmosphere with cheery log fire good food and nice staff. Always nice part of hol journey to look forward to.

Not bad ,it was brilliant, just before Covid-19.

Sunday calvery is one of the best I ever had, I travel 26 miles for a decent sunday roast definatly worth the time.
