Great restaurant. Lovely Mediterranean food and a good variety. Very welcoming staff. Definitely worth a visit and you'll probably want to go again.

Warm, friendly welcome on arrival. Food was very good value. I had feta bouyiourdi to start which was delicious (I'd love to get the recipe!!) followed by pasta with chicken and blue cheese sauce - yum! Hubby enjoyed his fish, but said the sauteed potatoes were slightly underdone. Didn't have room for a pudding!! Definitely worth a visit - much better value than any pub food.

I struggle to understand the 5 star reviews. This place has no idea of how to deliver good food. The portions are too big and the mains are the most confused dishes I've ever eaten. They add, what are clearly, pre prepared potato slices to bland pasta with the mains! Moroccan chicken with a creamy sauce? Unheard of in Morocco! Wonderful service from the staff but I'm sorry, the high reviews are clearly from those without a shred of discernment.

Booked last minute on a whim, and managed to grab a table. What a gem this is. Food is super quality - specially the fish sourced daily from Scotland (Haddock yum!). Atmosphere great. We sat in the arch area, which was a cosy table - but main area also looked comfy and was busy. Cannot rate service highly enough - the waiter was attentive and very professional. The Manager was also friendly. Really great evening. Chef Jane took the time to run through menu options with my wife prior to arrival, who is Gluten and Dairy intolerant - outstanding. Well done team D'arcy!

Lovely friendly staff...beautiful food and wine

Absolutely delicious! We went for a family meal and everyone enjoyed themselves. There are also lots of gluten free options, we also mentioned it when booking. I would definitely recommend!

A short walk from where we stayed for the weekend was Darcy's at the Station. Wow, lovely friendly knowledgeable staff, fantastic food and ambiance. Would highly recommend a visit if you enjoy great food in a beautiful part of Shropshire.

We chose Ironbridge for our Wedding Anniversary weekend away and decided to try D'Arcys at the Station. What a lovely place to visit and said why have we not visited this area before it is lovely. As always we arrived early, we do not like being late. It was exceptionally busy and can understand why, although this was not a problem as our table was ready but was advised by the lovely owner that we could sit and have a drink and peruse the menu, but out order would not be taken until our reserved time, which was not a problem as were were not in a hurry. We had chosen the stuffed baby peppers and chicken liver pate as starters and for mains, the pollo puttanesca and the hake with pancetta with a parmesan crumb with a dill sauce. All were good portions and were delicious, unfortunately we were full and could not manage a dessert (I am not a sweet person and prefer a starter anyway). The prices and drinks were reasonably priced. It had a lovely and friendly atmosphere and would defiantly return when we are in the area again as such a friendly place.

We have been to this restaurant several times over the years and it never fails to impress us. We went last night 16/08/2024 and both the food and the service was wonderful. Keep up the great work....look forward to seeing you next time we stay in beautiful Ironbridge. Regards Rob + Jackie Bull.

Refreshingly unusual: a welcome change from the incessant chips!

Welcomed as soon as we went through the door, good range of menu with vegan and vegetarian options as well as meat. Meals were tasty and well presented with a lovely dressing on the salad. Small or normal size sweets, with a varied choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would love to go back sometime.

Very friendly and helpful both owner and lovely member of staff.My mother uses a wheelchair so they made sure we were both well looked after.Food was excellent and freshly made .

As always, wonderful, friendly service and proper, freshly made to order food at reasonable prices! This is the only place we go for a proper meal out and it never disappoints. The wife has the moroccan chicken every time! The deserts are a good size too. Cannot fault the place.

Excellent. A relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The food was fabulous and very generous portions. I liked the mini desserts. It meant I could just manage to sneak in a pudding. 😊 Loved it and would definitely go back.

We went for dinner with friends and we had a lovely meal. It was quite busy, Friday night, but we were not hurried. The portion sizes were very good and everything was nicely presented. We had a range of starters; prawn cocktail, an oldie but goodie, feta salad, which was really nice and a warm chorizo salad. Three of us then had the Gorgonzola chicken and it was probably the best chicken that we’ve ever had. Succulent and full of flavour. One of our party had the Moroccan chicken and that too was lovely. We finished with a salted caramel ice cream that was to die for! Can’t wait for a rerun.

We returned to this wonderful place after sadly to long a time . However just as before the whole experience was absolutely amazing. The food, the service and the atmosphere were just as we remembered it , 5 star 🌟. We will definitely be returning & we won’t be leaving it so long next time. Highly recommended.

Strange menu of Italian, Spanish and Greek.nevet again!! menu no real theme ? although the bread on the side was very good you can't mix Italian , Spanish and Greek.one or the other please. I was hungry when I got there and hungry when I left ifit wasn't for meeting our friends I would of walked out ..

It's been a couple of years since we last visited. Lovely as always. Menu hasn't changed much, but food really tasty. Reasonable price.

I have been here before, when at Shifnal too, but not for 12 years. So thought I'd come back for a meal again. The menu is exactly the same!! However, everything we had was fresh and delicious. The chicken was succulent and the portion size good for the money. Shame the puds weren't appealing. I personally wouldn't pay £7.50 for a sorbet or an ice cream. But the starter was amazing. My only negative is I feel it needs a refurbishment!! The colour scheme, pictures, orniments etc are all very dated now. It could look sooo much nicer inside. There was also a damp smell in the air. So I've knocked a star off for the lack of embience and style.

The kservice and food are excellent however if you don't eat chicken and don't want pasta your choices will be limited. Fresh ingredients are bought in and when its gone its gone . They cater for Vegans although desert is limited if on a cold you don't want Ice cream or Sorbet. A bit more imigination by the chef and that would be easy

We have been to this restaurant over a few years, and the quality of food is excellent with friendly professional staff and Jim, the manager, is always welcoming.

We chose to eat at D'arcys as one of my my wife's big birthday celebration weekends and were not disappointed. A lovely welcome on entry which was carried on throughout the evening as the staff were super helpful and friendly. We had nibbles, three different starters and three different desserts and the kitchen smashed all three out of the park. Very generous portions and well presented. Thank you so much!

Visited this delightful restaurant on a Saturday night ( please book as very popular). It was our 3rd visit and I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed. Plenty of choice on the menu and the atmosphere/decor is just wonderful. I would say that the food is Mediterranean inspired and is very tasty. Thank you D'arcys.

Absolutely our favourite place to go out and eat. From the minute you walk in and are greeted by such lovely, friendly and attentive staff you know it’s going to be good. The atmosphere is always great thanks mostly the fabulous waiting staff and management! Our latest visit we had the Greek hummus to share for starters which I have to say is the best hummus I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a LOT), then I had the Stilton Chicken for main whilst my partner had the Scottish Salmon. I realise this is a bold statement to make but we both sat eating in absolute heaven…just incredible food!!! For us, you can keep your overpriced chain pubs and restaurants when we can visit D’arcys for a lovely evening, with FAR better food and atmosphere for the same price (if not actually cheaper)!!!

Came in at 7pm. Seated in a quieter area of restaurant, behind a curtain. Ordered sangria which was really nice, £10 for a carafe which did us for the entirety of our stay. Complimentary olives brought over. This restaurant changes its menu daily, which makes it difficult to properly gauge how the meal will be based on other reviews. The night we went, pretty much every meal was in a thick tomato sauce. Ordered houmous and pitta, lovely really nice. Massive portion so shared between us both. However, the main meals (as other reviews stipulate) all come with sliced potatoes, cold dry tagliatelle and salad. A really odd choice, who willingly eats cold spaghetti with no sauce etc? Anyway had feta stuffed mushrooms, very bland. Also had pasta arrabbiata, literally was a tin of chopped tomatoes, tagliatelle and olives. Zero spice or flavour in it. I think there must have been a bulk buy of olives as they were in everything we ate. Waitress checked over but couldn’t be bothered to return as there was nothing else in the menu we wanted eg salads, grills etc. Left within an hour of our stay, service very good non intrusive however the food really lets it down as we had heard such good reviews!!

Top marks, great food and service. Had the charcuterie board and bread to start followed by Gorgonzola chicken and Diablo pasta dish. Complimentary olives to start was a nice touch. The food was delicious, the chicken was so tasty. The side salad served with the mains really impressed us, nice mix of salad and tasty dressing. Service was great, very attentive but not too much so, just the right level. We have meant to visit this restaurant for a long time and now we have will certainly be back sooner rather than later. 10/10 recommend to all.

We had a great welcome and a lovely meal at D'arcy's. The posh prawn cocktail was excellent, as were the stuffed mushrooms and the chicken in Roquefort sauce. Very tasty, but too filling to allow us to sample the desserts! A minor niggle? We ordered the olives as an appetiser but weren't told that we would also receive complementary olives!

Excellent service, nice atmosphere, superb food. Serrano ham and cantaloupe to start was light and refreshing. Mains of Moroccan Chicken and Seafood Tagliatelle were delicious (I really want the recipe for the Moroccan Chicken!). Finished of with a Calypso Coffee which was perfect. We would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

Really enjoyed this restaurant - had a very nice sangria, the Pasta di Mare (creamy prawn and smoked salmon pasta dish) - it was full of flavour and not too thick and heavy. The restaurant was full, we had a nice slightly secluded table, lighting was low and made for a nice atmosphere - we were glad we found it.

Absol5the best food I have had in many a year. I would go back tomorrow if I lived closer. Service was also superb. If there is a negative, it is that you cannot get draught beer - it is all bottled - but that is such a minor issue. Certainly does not stop me recommending it 100%.

Four of us had a fantastic meal on Saturday evening, the service was fantastic not rushed and the restaurant atmosphere was chilled,we finished our night in a comfortable lounge upstairs, unfortunately I left my wallet but was contacted by the manager who arranged a time for me to collect so the whole experience was wonderful , we will return Ps the wine is georgus!!

The best meal of our long weekend trip to the Telford/Ironbridge area was here at D'Arcys on Saturday night. 100% compliments to the chef. Chicken with Shropshire Blue Cheese Sauce absolutely melt in the mouth gorgeous. The whole party really enjoyed their selections. Service is excellent. Overall, definitely the best place I have eaten in a long while. Very near to Ironbridge.

I had the Moroccan chicken, and like others have previously mentioned, although it was cooked nicely, the sauce lacked any depth and flavour. I found it odd to be served pasta and potatoes on the same plate! Also I’d have preferred vegetables not salad or to be given a choice. I don’t think the sauté potatoes were freshly made either as they resembled the frozen sliced type found in the supermarket freezer! Not a deal of culinary skills on show in all honesty - I can make better food at home.

Overall 5 stars. A party of 3, we'd checked out the menu and venue beforehand as we had a wheelchair. Host was great at communicating and answering questions in advance. There are a few steps into the toilet and one step into the building. Attentive, but not invasive staff. Given a Sat night the food turned up . Portions excellent, but meat a little dry but overall flavoursome. Chicken & Kofta. Unusual to have Kofta with potatoes rather than rice, but delicious all the same Water on table was excellent and the decor atmosphere was good. A little noisy at times, if you want a quiet meal. Well maybe not the venue for you. Desert was good as well. A shared nut roulade & chocolate brownie went down well Prices, what you'd expect for the area. Its clicky . if dont know owner your waiting ..we was first in at 6pm and ppl after us got feed first..foods cold by time got it..waited over 45 minutes..for sliced potatoes and bit pasta??..meat was chewy and no flavour..if your a regular the better apparently

Don't bother earing anywhere else in the Ironbridge Gorge or Telford..this is the best..we've been going since it opened and the food has been 100% consistent.and the quality and value for money of both the food and wine and service is unrivalled

I arrived with my two children just wanting a drink and a sit down. I gently pushed the door to go in, it was a little heavy so it closed. I went to retry and the door was pushed back and locked from within. A little surprised I knocked the window and a man came to the door, he said they opened at 6. It was 5.55. The least friendly pub I've ever been to.
