CLOSED as of Autumn 2023 the area has been turned into another 'room' for the community centre to hire/rent out. Part of the Community Centre - and as such run by volunteers. Currently generally open weekday mornings till about 1PM. Menu includes hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, crisps snacks and cake. In the summer months the Leegomery Community Garden alongside the building is home to veg and flowers grown by and for the community. Check community centre social media for updates and changes The Woodland Tea Room is next to the Silkin Way and one of the main shared use cycling and walking routes. A lovely airy venue, and friendly service. Currently also a #warmroom. One of the many in Telford. It may well mark 5 stars with an increase in menu and opening hours

Been in here twice, for tea, while visiting my brother and have been excellently surprised every time. Affordable, quick, service with a smile - no complaints at all.

Just left after our third visit and must say every time is as good as the first. Warmest welcome from the staff, attentive throughout our visit. The food was as lovely as ever. We both decided to try something different as we had been taken with the smoked haddock the last two times we visited. I had the salmon and prawns with lobster bisque and my partner had the koftas. Both absolutely delicious although the salmon was definitely both our favourites tonight. Cannot fault the service and will definitely be visiting again.

Christmas eve drinks time and decided to call here, having not been in for a couple of years and now under new management. It was great to see that the place had been decorated from top to bottom, it was getting very tired. Service was OK, if a little unenthusiastic but the door security was totally unnecessary based on the few people who were actually in the pub. Now for the important thing- the beer- 3 ales on the bar, including one of my favourites, salopian Shropshire gold, it was not good- undertones of sour milk springs to mind. So it was 1 pint (half of which was left on the table) and back down to the pheasant for some quality ale. I doubt that I will bother calling in again.
