The server Nich was great. We were outside and he was coming to check on us very often. Great personality. The food was good and the prices are reasonable! We liked the place but most of all, was Nich that made our evening pleasant. We will come again!!

31 years old and never have I tasted such a horrible pizza in my life I will admit I picked up about 45 min after they said will be ready but still the pizza was pretty much rock hard by then. Sad to say my first and last lime coming to this place also ordered wings not the best and they where cold as hell also 😢 like dude I was only 46 min late picking up. ITS A BIG NO FOR ME 👎

Danny's is fantastic!!! Love it everytime I go there! Great food always. Always hot and fresh everytime I have been there. Great service and servers. I just wish they served at the very min Steak Tacos! They NEED steak tacos on the menu.

Probably the best pizza restaurant/bar in the area. Atmosphere is always good regardless of what day it is. Staff is always very attentive. Definitely one of my favorite pizzas in the city and in my top all time favorite.

Got wings and pizza. Mango habanero & garlic buffalo were both great wing choices. The thin crust pizza was very good too. Really happy with quality, service, etc. Danny’s is close to Midway airport and is not a must stop any time I pick someone up from the airport.

I can say that I had always enjoyed the food and going there until what I’m going to say happened. On Saturday March 15, 2025 for St. Patty’s weekend a couple friends and I decided to go there to have food and drinks, (alcoholic and non alcoholic), we paid our check and all of the sudden the waitress approached us and asked how much longer we were going to be there because there was supposed wait. I responded by saying that we still had drinks to give us 10-15mins. My friends and I looked at each other in shock that this lady was kicking us out, but understood since it was this particular weekend; we took less than 10mins to leave. As we were leaving, we thought that there were going to be a lot of people waiting to be seated, but there were only two people standing by the waiting area and other empty tables. I’ve been enjoying Danny’s for many years since I’m a neighborhood resident, but the treatment we received that Saturday was disappointing.

Danny’s Pizza Place has a great atmosphere and excellent service—the staff was friendly, attentive, and really made us feel welcome. It’s the kind of spot where you enjoy just being there. As for the pizza, it was good—not great, but solid. I was hoping for something a bit more memorable, something that would really wow us, but it didn’t quite hit that mark. Still, it was enjoyable and definitely worth trying. Overall, a nice place with a great vibe and good food—I just wish the pizza had knocked our socks off.

Pizza is delicious, wings are also good. I enjoy that they have monthly specials.

My wife my daughter and I just left Danny's the food was phenomenal we had a shrimp mushroom and tomato cauliflower pizza and some loaded tots and southwest salad and some drinks OMG were they fast and the true gem of this establishment was our waitress she was so kind and on point not just with us but with all the tables around us we loved her service ❤️ and will be back I did not get her name but I really don't have too she knows who she is and I know she loves her job and that's what I call customer service from. Moved to the area 8 years ago and drove past many times. We finally visit as a family of 5 and it did not disappointed. We had the Buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks, spicy cheese curds, a pepperoni pizza and an Italian beef and hot giardinera pizza. Everything was delicious, new favorite app would have to be the spicy cheese curds! Can't wait to go back and try something else. We went before the dinner rush around 3:30, seated right away, service was great and pretty fast. Also the Moscow Mule the husband ordered was pretty tasty as well. Didn't take any pictures because we were too busy eating!

Dannys is legendary in Chicago for having a great pizza! I tested out the Pizza and found that to be true. We booked an event where we packed the entire place and can also say that their service can handle a capacity event.

I took my picky family here. The pizza was a hit and the unique italian beef eggrolls. Mostly the service by our server,Tony was excellent. He took time to answer all the questions my fam had while I rolled my eyes. Very patient and accommodating and helpful because they were happy! Wahoo

Everything was closed on New Year's Day. So I Grubhubbed food from Danny's. They were the best option open on the holiday. The GrubHub delivery boy forgot our pizza, but brought everything else. I called Danny's and they said that I was out of their delivery zone, but they still took the time to deliver the Pizza. The food was fantastic and the pizza lived upped to the rumors that I heard. I will continue to frequent Danny's from here on out. I just won't use F'ing GrubHub. Thank you for going out of your way for my family. signed your new customer, Jumbo

A checkmark of places I have meant to visit. Tried the wings, a burger, fries, onion rings and pizza (maybe not good to try all at once). Our server was so good, we asked for the manager to let her know. Not every wing flavor was great, but they were all good. The burgers always great, but can get sloppy (which is good). Great onion rings and good fries. Worth revisiting. Tonight we stopped in for pizza but also engaged in Bingo night. Our server must have asked about 20 times if we were good. I won free Buona Beef and an order of fries. We had a great time and pledged to return for another Bingo.

This was the first time my family has been to Danny’s in a while! The food was outstanding! We had, mozzarella sticks, garlic bread, loaded fires, loaded potato soup, and of course their delicious pizza! Everything was made to perfection! Tony was our waiter and he was GREAT! Extremely nice, patient, and really on top of us all night! This restaurant is so cute on the inside! I really look forward to coming back here soon!

Well had a pretty terrible experience for Thursday night football, they couldn’t even put the game on. So if you’re trying to watch the game there, definitely don’t do it on thursdays nights, somehow they’re incapable of doing so. But the food was okay, and service was okay as well, not exceptional.

Growing up I lived on the west coast so Hawaiian Pizza is a thing for me. It's delicious 😋. My kids of course do the pepperoni or sausage lol. I also do the sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms again very good. Their giant pretzel is soft amd yummy. My sons and family love the atmosphere there, sports games playing on screens, outdoor seating in the summer, definitely a family friendly spot. Danny's is totally a whole vibe. 😁😋

Neighborhood pizza joint. Tuesday is Bingo night, and that's fun.

So I've ordered twice from this place. The first time, the pizzas looked terrible and they tasted mediocre. The most recent time which was two days ago I order a deep dish and fries, the fries were soggy and tasted like they were microwaved, and they screwed up my deep dish and also missed two ingredients which I requested. They made the whole pizza one type and forgot ingredients. My suggestion is go down the street to Obbies or Villa Rosa.

Had their pizza for the first time today. Had an Italian beef thin crust with a spinach thin crust and let me tell you this place is the best and they are amazing. I highly recommend everyone to check them out

I came to this place to see what it was about....the hype... The great things they say about it.... So I went their for my first experience... I talked to a hostess her name was... Nayeli... She did an over amazing job to tell me this place was amazing... She told me the price of the pizza and I was astonished...so expensive... I asked... If it was worth it... She said yes.... A 12-inch Pizza which is their medium is like 20 bucks....I said why not... I want to see what the hypes about... I got a large fry as well.... Came out to 30 bucks... She told me a 35-minute wait sound like I'm going to check out your bar.... So I use the restroom... It was clean.... So then I went to sit at the bar... Give granted I wait about 4 minutes.... But no biggie.... Bartender name Jason... Came up to me and gave me really good service.... I ordered a beer.... By the way the only serve pints from draft..... I ordered a revolution beer which is a microbrewery.... It cost me $7 25.... Which is... Pricey... But Jason give me a menu explained everything to me about their menu was very nice.... And my food was ready before the 35-minute wait... I give the pizza 8.0 Fry's not so much.... Soggy and greasy... Not crispy.... And that's just my point of view

This is the best pizzeria I have been to in Chicago. Not only is it consistent, it is consistently good. I absolutely love the food here, the people who dine here are friendly locals and the people working are so kind it makes me want to dine in just to experience the atmosphere. Every time I go I try to order something new and I’ve yet to find something in my 7 visits that I didn’t like. The monthly specials are a great addition that I always look forward to. Very good food, amazing atmosphere and staff make this my number one choice to dine in for pizza

Pizza was absolutely delicious but the waitstaff at least my waiter was not too attentive. Got my initial drink order and appetizer. That went well but after I got that we waited about 20+ mins for pizza which is ok, but did not come back to ask for refills etc After pizza again no refills or if we needed anything and then proceeded to take to long to take payment and get boxes to go. Wait staff need better training imo.

Called ahead and asked them if they were pet friendly and they said yes, once I got there I got a table, another party had a dog as well and the owner told me that service dogs only. Yeah right that was straight up discrimination even after I told her that I called ahead and none of the “service dogs only” was ever mentioned. Garbage service. AVOID.

This place was so phenomenal! I got my outdoor dining fix. It's disturbing the number of times I think about their macaroni and cheese ball appetizer. By far the best appetizer, and it says it's a homemade recipe, I believe them! I've never had that macaroni and cheese flavor, so good. Deep fried, it just makes sense, and it's probably one of the best things on the menu. Everything is great about this. You can feed your whole family and get a great dining experience, and it feels like it'll cost you an arm and a leg, but their prices are so reasonable you can bring your whole family and have dessert!

First time visiting Danny's Pizza Place. Had not known about it if it wasn't because of Groupon Yes, the deal was good But the food was delicious Jason started kind of quiet and serious but he warmed up and he was very pleasant and provided good information about the restaurant WE WILL BE BACK !!!

We ordered 2 deep dish pizzas one sausage and one cheese. The sausage pizza had sausage that was not good and had some red liquid coming out of it. It was spoiled and very disgusting. Never again will I buy pizza from this restaurant.

What can I say, always a go to spot when I want to order pizza but definitely not the case when sitting in. Sat down with my father (at the bar to add) to order some food and not only did my pops' burger come out and we watched it sit there for I'd say 10 mins but even finishing our drinks sitting at the bar and having to ask for another drink while the bartender walked around clueless. Not sure where The server and bartenders learned their restaurant etiquette but the owners need to step up. I'll continue to order my fav pizza through you guys but will never dine in again.

Doing an update a year later.... Burgers are good. Sad I had to pay for side fries and got about 25 fries as a side dish. For 100.00 order I should have at least got couple more fries. And I bit into my burger and ajalapeño was in it. Talk about ruin my meal. Very disappointed now with this place. I expected the same as my past few orders. Keri is the best server. Always on top of her customers. Asks all the time if we're doing good. I have no complaints. About food and service. A suggestion tho is bring in normal cheese curds. The spicy ones are to much for me and the grand kids.

My wife and I picked Danny’s because we wanted to eat local and we were impressed. Young Tony did a great job. He recommended several items and we opted for the sausage pizza and it was delicious.

Ordered 2 large pizzas ...1 sausage the other pepperoni...Sausage came out raw and cold... I wont be eating there again.Place is nice to sit ,eat and have a beer... Service can be a bit better...Waiters have to be more Attentive to the customers because we are spending money eating there food. I didnt feel that here...that is not a great feeling.

Paid $80 to get grossed out by a bloody Mary with pepperoni & bacon sticking out of it followed by "dinner" that reminded me of my grade school cafeteria. I used to love their food. Pizza & burgers. Never again now. The server took our cutlery away B4 we got food, we were in the dusty back corner it was so busy. I could go on & on but I'm sure u get the picture. Their standards dropped horribly.
